- Based off of the 2006 DMP 11s, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan 11 "Gratitude" later this week on December 9th. Replacing the nylon upper for a tumbled white leather instead, it otherwise remains fairly true to the original with glossy, black patent leather, gold coloured detailing, and a translucent outsole that made the Air Jordan 11 famous. I hit on my first ever shock drop W for these Gratitude 11's and I love everything about them. The 11's are my all time favorite Jordans and these will go into my collection and rotation with my space jam's, concords and bred 11's. Great video and review!👍

I'm shocked to hear that you don't really mess with the AJ11 much anymore. I find the low tops version of the sneaker to be my favorite of the two. They break in much better over time since you don't have to worry about the high ankle collar. That aside, I'm getting these for my pops who loves his retro style basketball shoes especially the 80's - 90's era. Keep up the quality videos Sean!
yeah been wearing more comfy models the older I get lol. Less basketball / retro basketball silhouettes
@@SeanGoyou wear running shoes like NB 1080’s? I prefer fresh foam now especially as I get older. It’s just super squishy and soft. Makes walking more enjoyable and my feet feel great!

I wasn't planning bon buying these at all but the concord 11's are my favorites. Now I like the Leather upper since it's easier to clean. I've never worn a 11 so i'm excited to wear them in the near future. And for some reason you gotta wear these with black trousers/pants to make hem pop. Thanks again for the high quality review. 💖

I like the colourway and design as far as photos and videos show, but they're nothing I feel like i really want or need. My eyes are on the anthracite foamposites coming next week. Do you have any plans on reviewing them? Great review as always!
I wouldn’t call Jordan 11s dated in terms of style, we’re just in a period of so much variety which is great! I have always found Jordan 11s to be very bouncy feeling but restrictive at the same time.
Certainly worth it just for the collection even though I’m more of a runner type sneaker person.
All ready got them early on shock drop! I luv them and only wear 11’s. They will never go out of style!!!

Love these and my pair are flawless luckily. Re the style I still think 11s are the most futuristic looking of the Jordan’s that matter (1-14). I wear them regularly; Bred IE at the gym, 72-10, Cool Grey & Space Jams often in my weekly rotation too. Not worn these DMP Tributes yet but they’ll get broken in soon.

Man back in '06 I was wearing Heelys in my senior year, zooming from class to class. Needless to say my school banned them the year after 😂
I wear basketball shoes to play basketball 🏀 and for me Air Jordan 11 are the best basketball shoes ever! Very low to the ground ( you have great court feel) and also comfort with the full length air until. The shape of the shoes makes you feel very secure in every movement! I use the IE versions of the shoes! The good ones not the recent ones which I think with the recent ones Jordan brand went to the wrong direction for me! Because as I said I use basketball shoes to play basketball 🏀. Materials in shoes of that category need to be the highest quality possible! The recent IEs don't use leather in the upper and I tried them in store and I think those are life style shoes! I don't know if I will pick this pair because my favourites are the IEs (cement and bred) and also performance wise and I like wearing them casually! And for people who don't know Michael Jordan worn IEs in some games!😎

Just like what they’re doing with Jordan 1’s, they should start releasing low 11’s. Low’s are just much more comfortable now and much easier to match. Waiting for the day they re-release the low Concords and Breds 11 (without the red collar)
I'll settle for this pair if I can secure it on release day, though I still prefer the OG 11 Concords..
Can you confirm if the patent leather creases really bad even after only one wear

These are super clean on foot but I'm not 100% sure if I want to cop. I'm not able to go crazy on sneakers like I used to so lately I've been copping shoes I've wanted for a while that are heavily under retail. A week ago, I copped the "H" Wing 2s for $150 (retail was $210). So these being $250 after tax has me being like eh..I could cop something else for cheaper that I'd probably wear more. Tbh, I think it's a fomo thing, cause I couldn't grab last years cherry 11 release so fomo is real with the gratitudes😂.

Sean how are these going to do with putting protective spray on? When I had the red 11’s when I sprayed them the shiny red portion turned all greyish/cloudy looking. The spray didn’t set correct. I use Crep on my shoes and always spray them.
I’m not sure I never ever use protective spray on my kicks tbh

I’m finding out I’m quite alone in finding 11s rather comfortable, out the box. Maybe they particularly suit my feet.
Good looking pair but I’ve already got the concords that I struggle to get into the rotation so there’s no point getting a another pair that looks so similar

Gotta call you out on this one Sean. You said the look of this shoe is pretty much outdated but you went crazy over the Jordan 3 White Cements, which many would argue both look and are even more outdated than the 11’s. Love your work but Cmon man lol
He’s talking from a current style point of view. Jordan 3s are much more inline with current trends than a Jordan 11. Back in say 2011 a Jordan 11 was the hottest thing you could have on foot. That isn’t the case anymore. These are a straight up classic though, anyone that is in to Jordan’s or even sneakers in general should grab a pair as in a few years there may be some regrets

11s are Grails and don't think they're outdated at all.

Nah J11 is not outdated, there are just lots of shoe styles at the moment and honestly most of them are overdoing it. That’s why I like J11 so much, the simple style makes it appealing to wear.

The inner lining underneath the patent leather on mine wasn’t glued smoothly so you can definitely feel the wrinkles on your toes . Anyone else has this issue?
