Best part is that this shampoo is healing and can be easily modified to fit curly hair, dry hair, oily hair and any other variations of hair types.
This DIY natural shampoo is super easy to make, its homemade, fun and I know you'll love it. Be sure to give it a try so that you can avoid chemical exposures for both you and your family.

Something so easy to make and so healthy. Thanks for sharing yet another amazing recipe for health.
can't wait to try this DIY shampoo. Thanks for giving me this recipe.
Makes a great shaving cream too! I put a bit on my legs, lathered it up, and used it as shaving cream, and it left my legs silky smooth! Wanted to share
Thank you so much I'm new to making my home made shampoo and soaps and so on.
Thank you so much! I have this natural tea tree shampoo that I can't buy anymore and the ingredients on bottle are essentially what you show here so here I go!
Thank you. I’m going to make this tomorrow 👍🏼
Thank you so much for putting this together.
Ty !!!!! I made shampoo ... didn't have all your ingredients so I improvised. Came out great !!!🕉
I want to thank you for this recipe, I made it and have been using it for 6 months now.
Thank you very both of you Dr.!🙏🙏🌹🌹❤❤
Awesome, thanks guys.
Thank you. Enjoyed this video.
wow very simple instructions very short video thanks alot
I’m so excited to try this!
Is there something we can substitute for the aloe? I like the idea of using it to thicken the recipe, but my son is allergic. Thanks!
Great video! Nice and easy recipe for shampoo!
I measure the aloe vera into the corner of a baggie and then snip a small hole in the baggie corner, and squeeze it out into my shampoo bottle.
Great video & idea!
I use all natural everything. Liked you video. Thanks. I do use the Dr. Bronner’s - Pure-Castile Liquid Soap Lavender soap for detergen, The Honest Company Shampoo + Conditioner. now.
The two best hair growing ingredients are castor oil and fenugreek; I would add to this formula.
Thank you for sharing this formula for all natural Shampoo. I'm definitely going to try it. My hair is gray and very fine and everything I have tried makes it look oily, ugh. Thanks again. Subscribing 😊
PS: WOOOHOOOO, LOVE IT. Didn't add the Glycerin or Aloe, works great for my hair. Muchas Gracias 👍
Can I use infused water , instead of just plain water ? Like rice water ? Thank you . Also I hear this lives your hair feeling waxy !! Do I need to use Apple cider vinegar afterwards ?? Thank you
Thank you!
Best part about it is, it's cost effective! And you can customize it!
I heard that using rosemary oil can be used twice a week. What do you think? I’m using it for hair regrowth.
Thank you! Awesome!
I haven't used it yet but i made a batch this afternoon. It seems a bit thin, is there a way to thicken it up?
Do you have a DYI conditioner recipe?
What is the vegetable glycerin supposed to do? Could I use an actual aloe plant for the aloe portion of it and just blend it up?
Going to give it a go
Where do I get the castille soap and the jojoba oil and the aloe vera? (yea, I'm just now seeing this from my search for diy shampoo.)
omg i care about this so much!
Is it necessary to have the oil (ie olive oil or other types) in this recipe or can I cut it out?
What is the ph of this soap?
Also what is the shelf life of such a shampoo?
Can you sub aloe vera jel for aloe Vera plant
Shouldn't it be good to use organic items being they would be grown with pesticides?
What kind of castille soap is that?
Thanks am going to try this, as I wash my hair every day and want something healthy.
It's not good to wash your hair every day as it dries out the follicles. every 3 or 4 days would be better. at age 72, and having tried everything, yes, I do believe I know.
Do you need a conditioner? Do you have a diy for a conditioner ?
I make my own beauty products as well but i havent found a shampoo recipe that doesnt leave my hair oily. I hope this one works. Ill give it a try. Thank you!!
how was it?
I followed with the ACV rinse and it was good. But without thr rinse my hait was really tangle when wet.
Same here. I'm natural oily and this shampoo left me greasy.
To me it has a weird feel when my hair is wet, but once it dries that feeling goes away and my hair is really soft and fluffy
Can we use preservative
can you double the recipe for a larger bottler?
What is vegtible glysterine for???
But doesn't using this stop dry hair? You still have dry hair after using it long term?
Do you make homemade soap??
This is great! You guys should do a natural deodorant video sometime too! Its hard to find safe alternatives, or good brands that actually work.
It is really easy to make, I buy one from “PROYECTO BOTÁNICO” and sometimes I do it, it is a mix of shea butter, arrowroot powder, coconut oil and baking soda.
If you are interested I can give you information where you can find it.
Or if you want to make a deodorant spray just using witch hazel and any essential oil like lavender lemongrass lemon Orange just two keep a great smell
The best work does slice of lime!
Just use baking soda. It works!!
Lime juice in a spray bottle 🙂
How long does it take for your hair to adjust . My hair feels so weird when trying to switch … like really oily , or kinda like a weird texture. Thank you .
Since you have curly hair(so do I), do you put anything else on your hair and could you do a video on it if you haven't?
I was wondering the same thing. And if you make your own can you let us curlies know. Looking for a non expensive gel or mousse without toxic chemicals. I found a few but that are clean up until the p word. Phenoxyethanol....grrr
Could I use fresh aloe vera🫣
You never said how much aloe Vera?
thank you
Has anyone used the recipe?
In my attempt to get a natural shampoo I ordered the exact products from amazon which all came up to $70 I didn't worry too much about the price because I thought it was what I was looking ...however I did the recipe exactly as in the video IT WAS THE MOST STICKY THING I EVER PUT IN MY HAIR TOOK 2 WASHES TO GET MY HAIR NORMAL SO I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS ALL THE ALOE AND STUFF I WASHED MY HAIR WITH THE DR BONNERS SOAP ALONE GOT THAT EXACT EFFECT STICKY HAIR I WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED BECAUSE I KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE SWEAR BY DR BONNERS SOAP HAD TO GO BACK TO REGULAR SHAMPOO STILL LOOKING FOR SOMETHING NATURAL
The same happened to me
Mine didn't come out sticky at all. I did not use aloe vera beccause I put that in my conditioner. Do not use the aloe vera that they do in the video. It is not 100% aloe vera. It may be 100% gel but not all aloe vera.
I have not been able to use these homemade shampoos either, tried several recipes. Why? Most likely because my water is very hard. Those with soft water will have much better results.
@@greeneyes6311 yes this is the key factor
I use The Honest Company Shampoo + Conditioner Bundle and I am very happy. I thought I might try the products here.
What is the shelf life on this and do you have to store it in the fridge?
Good question, we've never tested it, but 3 months is a good estimate and if separation occurs, jut shake it. No need to refrigerate.
Great video! I also enjoy making my own natural diy shampoo. But I've never use vegetable glycerin. What is the purpose or benefits of using it?
Amia Renee for added moisture I think 🤔. And it’s a humectant also like honey . I use it on my skin & face . It’s the best for dry skin !!👍
It’s a thickener, and it also helps to seal in moisture. Because she’s adding water in the beginning the glycerin will thicken her shampoo and give her more product. U can also take vitamin E and Biotin supplements to aid in thickening your hair.
Samantha Hicks oh thank you for the info !! Appreciate it !!😊 Also are these supplements you’ve mentioned good for hair loss?? I’m suffering from hair loss at the moment!!!😪😪 That’s why I’m on this channel....
Kool
how is the lather?
it laters really well. Just tried it today!!
Does the essential oil have to be food grade or can it be therapeutical
Both can be used
@@alxdava2004 Thank you
What is the shelf life for this natural shampoo
A conservative estimate would be 6 months--it is a natural product for the most part, but if you only make about 15 ounces of this, it will probably last 1 month. You can always use your fridge to keep the shampoo fresh longer.
K, I did the recipe, been using for a couple months, and I've been experimenting with natural shampoo recipes for about 6 months plus washing my hair only twice a week. EVERY shampoo recipe including this one and my hair is gunky and my brush is coated with greyish gunk every time I brush. This is so frustrating! My hair never feels clean. It's just coated with oil crap. Any suggestions?
Try rhassoul clay
How about an inexpensive recipe?
I heard Castile soap can wreak havoc on your hair?
who said? im guessing the chemical products companies.
What will be the shelf life
Feeze it into ice cube trays . Take out one cube on hair washing day .
“Castile” rhythms with “steel”.
What about shampoo for us oily ladies? I tried this and it left my hair greasy.
IF you don't mind my interrupting, I do a final rinse with apple cider vinegar and water (1/4 cup to a quart of water, roughly). Cuts through my oily hair, makes it soft and shiny.
😍
I do not like how this makes my hair feel. It smells worse. I spent the money on all the ingredients, followed the recipe but I hate the way my hair feels. 🤢 Yuck!
Does anyone have a DIY natural soap?
Jason Ong Yes !! My whole family uses African Black Soap! It’s amazing look it up on how to use it & you can purchase it from EBay or Amazon.👍
Be Good To Yourself do you mean this?

Being with a doctor and having dry scalp or hair??? Well, I guess it happens. Not a real recipe as, missing lots of more info.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your Aloe Vera product has chemicals in it. Look up the ingredients on the back of the bottle.
castile is pronounced ka-steel 😉not ka-style
“Cas-teel” soap.
None of this stuff I can eat without sick. I can wash with oatmeal, now give me natural products that absorb into my skin like oatmeal that can wash hair. My skin hates castile soap. I imagine my stomach would agree. That seems to be my standard for real natural products.
It's pronounced cas-teel'.
📖✝️🙏💞💖😭 Dear Heavenly Father God, I know that I am a sinner and I ask you to please forgive my sins. I believe in my heart that Jesus is your Son; that He died for me on a cross and you raised him up. Jesus, I declare you my Lord and I open my heart to you.

Shampoo is not causing cancer. Omg 🤦♂️
Many shampoos and other personal care products contain ingredients that are toxic and have caused cancer. Only 10 to 20 percent of all personal care products have been tested for safety by the FDA
So you're using soap to make soap... I want to learn how to make soap wtf
Ffs Nick. I don't want to hear you babble for 3 minutes. Just give me the ingredients and the parts used.
