It’s so clear when a guitarist is focused on making beautiful music rather than showing off technique. You could have played this dozens of different ways that flexed your technical abilities more but none of them would have been as musically pleasing as this, I love it.

@Russo Yeah he is brilliant. Learning guitar is tough, but I find having lots of small goals is good. Otherwise you can be over whelmed by all the things to learn and practise and then you see someone like james play and you go "how the f#$k 😂 keep at it dude 👍

Awesome rendition. Love this song, love this cover. Was a little lost on the tempo at the beginning but i think thats because lyrical cues ppay a big part in the song, and when theres no vocals it catches you off gaurd. Other than that this cover was really really well played.

Any chance you could show us your skills to honor EVH? I’m more of an acoustic guitarist but since he passed I’ve been learning a lot of Van Halen songs that I used to play when I first picked up the guitar. It would be awesome to learn some with your chord melody style.
