Thanks Mr Borgstrom to mention that this plane was developped by Bombardier as a CS 100 and CS 300 before becoming an Airbus 220. My boyfriend is retired from Bombardier and he saw the developpement of this aircraft from zero. This plane is the big baby of all the employees of Bombardier and they are proud of it....
@@wadehiggins1114because Boeing was lobbying to add tariffs to the Canadian built and designed plane as it would threaten their 737. Airbus now builds them in their plant in Alabama plant for us market = no tariffs. Bombarider also build them in Quebec Canada.
Damn that was a excellent presentation and very informative. People want to fly and this baby is a fuel saver and seems passengers and pilot Love It. Cheers 🇨🇦
They probably couldn’t see though. There is normally more light outside the aircraft than in the lavatory. And on a rainy day the wet window would obscure the view. 😂

The A220 is one of my favorite planes to fly on. Love the back lav with a window!
Don’t think anyone will look in at 3000 feet😂

Definitely the bathroom with a view bought me!!
they are some huge engines for that plane. Efficiency, surely
They are GTF as well 😉
Canadian genius made a great plane. a wise choice by Delta. great service for Delta and passenger appreciation. looks great inside and out.
And it was brilliant of Airbus to acquire it
@@wadehiggins1114 it was a 'steal'.

Merci pour cette explication !
I can't wait to fly on one of these out of PDX on Delta Airlines, great video👍🙂🙂
Thanks for making this video, really informative and I like it. Thanks.
Thank you for this simple and excellent video, I may spend more time in the porthole toilet 😂
i hope Delta order more A220-100 and 300 models to replace both old models 319 and 320 with brand new 220 as a way to simply delta fleet
I see my thumbs up made the like count 220. What a coincidence!
Just flew this plane from Boston to Rochester and what a beautiful plane. I think.Delta may ne dlowly replacing the ERJ and CRJ's with the A220.
Hopefully the A350 is next
It very well could be as I believe delta has placed a350s on the msp-Tokyo route flying in and out daily at least pre covid
I be hanging out in the lav for a while if I don't get a window seat :)
this is sooo cool
Does the Delta model have the HUD?
It has a window so that I can moon the ground crew when they’re loading bags

Only thing that would make it better is electro-dimming shades.
Whale plane! 🐳✈️
