My middle name came from father’s favorite teacher (Alyce) and he only went to the 6th grade. He worked the family dairy farm in Wisconsin, but he was the most educated man I knew. If he didn’t know how to do something, he found a book that would teach him. I’d like to think I’m carrying on crafting in his name. Thank you for new ideas and some great memories.
Hi Belinda my favourite one is the full page belly band, I love how it came to be, by accident, a happy accident. For my father I was the last of seven children, six girls and one boy, I got my middle name from his mother, which I never met and my brother has our fathers name completely, he was the junior one, now he is the only one as his wife couldn’t have children so he couldn’t pass it on. Thanks for visit 👍🇦🇺❤️🥰🤗😘
Awww, that's lovely to hear of your family name connections. Names, their meanings, and how we came to be called our names can be quite fascinating. 🤗😘🥰
This was fun! I made 2 singles while watching, about to decorate my full page ones. Thanks - the singles have kick-started my orange journal using Joey's September mash-up kit 😁🥰My middle name is my mother's first, her middle name is her mother's first. Hubby's initials are JR - middle name same as his dad's, the first name is same initial but he was Joe, whereas hubby is Jeff. Jeff's younger brother had a son before we even met, so he used their dad's middle name for his son. It's especially nice since Jeff's dad died really young, Jeff was in his 20s at the time. We would have run out of names for our lot if we'd tried to use family only lol.
Wow this is an awesome idea...I've always loved the idea off a bellyband, but struggled with the look off a straight strip off paper. But this!...this I love fantastic work Belinda 🥰thanks lovey🤗. An after thought; What if we used envelopes instead: one sewn into the signature and one tucked over the page. 🤔 Hmm maybe you already thought of this and I wasn't listening properly because I'm making clusters while I watch.🤭😉
Oooo, I like that idea, Anja. I'm going to play with that- thank you! 😊 Belly bands are really fun to include. Have you tried dressing up a strip of paper with fabric or lace (or using fabric/lace without paper)?
Ohhhhhh love love love this idea!!! So many things to bounce off of it, great play ❤❤❤
Thank you, lovely. It's a fun ride when things flow. 😁🥰

Thank you for sharing your name and a bit of your dad's history, Robin. I love that! ☺
