If that is car pinstripe you should be able to peel off the clear plastic after you burnish it down as it is the protective layer. BTW the pockets are really cute.

I’m not the biggest fan of mushrooms 🍄, I like to eat them, the not poisonous ones of course 😂, but these are adorable and they are great just the way they are, I don’t think they need anymore spots. Education is never a waste of money. Here in the US, given that the space programs get less than 2% of the national budget, I think there is a considerable amount of waste in the 99% of the budget being spent elsewhere. And how many thousands of jobs would be lost if Nasa lost all funding. I would like to see MORE money spent on education and jobs, not just Nasa but all educational programs. Education, even the branches I have no interest in or understanding of, need more funding. Again, education is never a waste of money.

Hi Belinda, I am doing it while I watch you 😃, I am just using an atlas and trying to get different coloured maps from that. It is fun and different, I don’t know what faux washi I will be using yet, I haven’t got that far, I’ll send you a pic when I’m finished. My head isn’t the best today so this project is good, I don’t have to think too hard and it makes me feel like I am doing something, my week has been up and down, but pretty good overall, the weather is cold and wet today which makes it a great day to stay inside and rest. The weather certainly closed in yesterday & today, Belinda! Canterbury got off fairly easy this time round, but I don't think today did much for your photography plans...😔This was a fun one, even just finding and choosing which maps to use. I've gone against my usual and made things a bit easier on myself by using bigger collage pieces for a change. And thanks for showing your phone book idea. I had heard you mention it before. I have books I store those little bits in, but turning them gradually into a useful collage is a great tip! Thanks. Maybe I'll be able to empty some of my scraps boxes this way! And end of year/spring project 😄

I am having a better day today and doing some crafting, I am making a large birthday card for my brother in law who turns 50 this month, it is for his girlfriend to give to him. I am presently drawing up a brick wall, which I will paint, as the card base and I am making a guitar 🎸 to have leaning on the brick wall. Well this is what I have in my head 😂, we will see if I can pull it off, if I do and if I remember, I will send you a picture, wish me luck! 😂 I hope the new cheaper glue stick is good and works well for you. Gorgeous papers, love mushrooms to eat and to look at! I love cutting paper but I have to be in the mood for fiddly cutting ❤❤❤ blown glass is definitely gorgeous and certainly very expensive.

Yep, fussy cutting is something I really enjoy too. As are mushrooms. My story is that I had never eaten any until I started working at the mushroom place in Prebbleton when I left school. We used to be given 2kg free a week!! So my dad started showing me ways to use them and I was hooked :D Especially like them cooked with nutmeg 👌And ta for the reminder about those big triangle pockets - a great way to show off both papers.
