Very cute ideas for pockets! Agreed, posting items is a gamble these days! This is the reason I stopped doing swaps to overseas crafting folk, twice now things have never been received and also one item sent to me never arrived. Annoying
In such a modern world it seems ridiculous that mail should ever go missing. It is annoying, frustrating, and super disappointing...and costly! Makes it so tough on small businesses, too. It's such a shame. Thank you, sweetheart. 🥰
Omgoodness, Belinda, I had to go n visit a friend tiday, to calm down after trying to send something to my Grandson in America!!! A 1 year old dressing gown n pjs with a small book. $48. What the bloody! Did not send. Came home and repacked it with just the D-gown. Made so small. $32 . I paid n sent. Livid. Poor wee Nana's trying to send gifts.
That's sad, Laurelle. 😪 I was so mad I kept thumping the steering wheel all the way home. Poor car. You'll just have to take another trip to USA. 😉 More expensive, but way more fun!
Lol, did the same, Belinda. Email the head of NZPost. Recieved a short email back more or less saying, too bad. It cost to deliver mail, lucky they mentioned that, it is because of covid, still!! Et , etc, etc
I've not heard anything back yet. It's a vicious cycle - people aren't posting so they "have" to put prices up, which makes people use post less, so they put prices up and cut services....on and on it goes. Super frustrating and greedy. But also a symptom of the internet age. 😞 Thank goodness for junk journallers who LOVE to send and receive mail. 🥰
