GaleForce is an incredible ride, and my favorite at this park. I wasn't expecting the airtime to be as violent as it was, and I enjoyed every second of it! I prefer it to all but two coasters at Great Adventure. Tidal Wave is this park's hidden gem. All throughout that little ride I was laughing with joy due to all the airtime.
The tidal wave is my absolute favorite ride ever! Whenever I go here, it’s always my first ride! I normally hate rides, but this one is def one of the more thrillers that I’ll actually do! Hurricane is also really fun.
The Double Shot has aways been my favorite. While Gael Force may be the new premier ride; Double Shot is still the face of the park to me given how long it has been there and how many years it spent as the top ride on the OC boardwalk. I'm actually bummed they put a new tower in; I know it looks very similar but the color scheme was so much cooler on the old one.
I loved it here when I went, I went when they had Python I think abd I went when Gale Force was under construction, I wish I can rode it next time I go. Wild Waves also seems fun because E&F Milers are pretty cool, especially how it interacts with galefoce in such a small space.
Though Gillian's wheel is taller, it has been closed all year. I find Playland's wheel to have the better lighting package, which is why I think it looks very pretty. Also, Tropical Storm has been relocated to Steel Pier in nearby Atlantic City, so it is not gone. Then even though Tidal Wave looks like a fun ride, my only problem is that it is just simply too loud. Granted the S&S Double Shot is also very audible, I don't find it as loud as Tidal Wave.
This is a bit of a stretch given the nature of this park, but I think a small scale B&M wing coaster (like Maximus at Legoland Deutschland) would really round out the park's coaster lineup.
I've only been to Ocean City a handful of times, and none have been memorable. Sadly, I waited just a bit too long for getting on Tropical Storm; it was removed the year before I first visited. To make matters worse, I didn't take the opportunity to ride "Storm", another flatride that I knew better from my visits to the MN State Fair; that ride was pulled the following year, when I gave the place another shot. But worst of all, every time I've visited I was told that "Galeforce" wouldn't open before 7pm, which is far later than I ever stay at any place, Jersey shore or otherwise. To this day, I still haven't gotten on GF, and I may never do so.
I really wanted to try Tidal Wave, but the long lines prevented that. The park was wall-to-wall people, so it was hard to tell what was the spill-out of a line and what was people trying to walk. I got the credits and got out of there. I'm sure it's not as crowded by day, but I spent all afternoon & early evening at Moreys Piers.

It really is intense!
I love that ride!!!❤
I can't get enough of Gale Force!!! I'm a big rollercoaster fan, and that is one of my favorites ever!!!

I only visited after Gale Force was built so that's the image I always place with this park.
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
You bet
Wild Waves would be cool without breaks
It would be intense.
I rode it when I was younger and I thought it was fun, but now it's forceless
@@sadiewoods3853 yeah i waited like 30 minutes to go on it and i was dissapointed. I went on the first cart on gale force so mucn more fun and scary
You can also get stapled badly 😔 once I couldn’t move my legs on the ride
Don’t forget the wacky worm credit down by Gillian’s!
Already have it.
Playland's Castaway Cove has a solid ride collection for a small park. It's the amusement park I've been to the most.
Nice!
I’ve ridden pretty much every ride here, but I wish I got to get on tropical storm, looks sick
It was a great ride.
Tropical storm is relocated in Atlantic City nj, you can ride it there
Tidal Wave is easily one of my favorite flat rides. The quantity of airtime would make RMC proud
It's fantastic.
yo your videos are funny

Gale Force is a great reason to return.

That's a bummer Gillian's has had their wheel closed. That park has had a lot removed/closed in recent years.
@@CanobieCoaster I know. However, I think Keansburg's worse.
This parks top 3 are seriously amazing. I would argue those 2 flats are some of the best in the states
They definitely are.

Doubt that would ever happen though.
Always entertaining! I see shades of a European fun fair with some of these flats, but definitely not as extreme as they have in Germany.
Definitely true.
Gale Force 2nd best roller coaster on the Jersey Shore great ride. you need to do 10 best rides at Casino Pier
I'll have a ranking for that park in the future.

I really like this pier between the parks, food, and mini golf.
My family loves Xtreme Cyclone. It gives you air no matter where you sit, every time, unlike Hershey's Claw.
Nice!

It gets packed at night!
Are you going to do a top 10 rides at Gillian’s, or a top Ocean City NJ rides combined?
I won't have one for Gillian's at the moment since they have overhauled their rides quite a bit.
Gale force>Double shot> cyclone best rides
Gale Force is my favorite there too.
YOU FORGOT PIRATES GOLD RUSH!!!
In all seriousness, I do love Wild Waves and Gale Force. Those two for me make the park well worth visiting.
And their top flats are great too.
I haven’t seen the UFO ride or tropical waves when I went to the park for the past few years. Were they removed?
Yes, Tropical Storm was removed foe Squadron 33.
@@CanobieCoasterI never got to ride tropical storm, it seems like a way more fun version of the gravitron
We need more of these in the UK
Just more roadside/decent seaside parks in general
Fantasy island, adventure island, Blackpool pleasure beach, Southport pleasure land, brean? They’re not AS good but they’re not bad!
Blackpool is a better seaside park than anything in New Jersey.
@@CanobieCoaster Yes but thats just one park, the rest are mediocre at best
Four roller coasters? I thought they had three. I know about Gale Force, Wild Waves, and Whirlwind, but what's the fourth one?
Gold Rush, the kiddie one.
What means "rocky" from rocky opening year?
Rough
I never been here to Jersey boardwalk park
There are quite a few boardwalks to see.
@@CanobieCoaster yeah, i only been to Keansburg, Jenkinsons, Casino Pier(my former employer), and moreys
i went on the gale force like 5 times cuz it was so fun ☠️
Nice!
Bros wallet is cooked
Gillian's has the better log flume, to say the least.
Most definitely.
Tidal Wave is one of my fave flats, it gets me laughing uncontrollably like a maniac ❤
It makes me laugh too.
challenge; you need to ride Gale Force
i forgot what the challenge part is imagine i said something really weird here
Lol
double shot is too low, top 3 for me!
Fun ride.
First
Nice!
