I was calling my own turns like this but doing so 3 turns ahead just like this video just to come down from Yosemite Valley in California this October. I was the lead car in a mile long serpentine chain of headlights in the blackness of night with no street lights while riding only feet from falling off the mountain. The entire line of vehicles were only feet from one another too so ya… no breaking distance at ALL. That was super intense and I felt such a huge responsibility riding up on my shoulders bc if I made even the slightest mistake, the lack of breaking distance would compound causing many cars crunch together, like a broken slinky, and tumble off the mountain. This video reminds me of how I was telling myself “big left, big right, slight left… then straight to slight right then left… etc” I was having to use the GPS to anticipate the upcoming pattern of turns, all the while my mother was sitting on the edge of her seat freaking out … and she was way too stressed to be trusted with calling the turns for us all lol. There was no place to safely stop either. I’m sure if you’re from that area, it’s no big deal… but for me, I mean… I’m from Florida… so this was not only complicated by complete darkness, unpredictable turns, and the unspoken pressure of being first in a long line of vehicles… but it was all happening in 3D space… so … up, down, inside , through, out and all around again… not at all the kind of flatlander driving we have here in Florida lol. Still fun though. 😅
@@playingforeign1097thanks! That was a wick response, I had to edit it bc I can’t type. We’ll come to think of it, my blood type is type O so… Typo’s are to expected I guess
Been playing the first dirt rally myself, been wanting to get into these games as they are just eye candy and while Idk if I can get competent at it I do like it alot. I tend to take things slower and its better than crashing and losing alot of time although I wish I could be faster . anyway good stuff to you.
@playingforeign1097 right for sure right now I'm ripping my hair out playing gravel games good but man the ai sometimes feels way faster than I am and the physics are a bit jank too I barely touch a rock and I get sent flying which is fun but at the same time makes races a pain as the slightest thing makes you go flying
@playingforeign1097 Yup I've been trying out some of the faster cars in dirt rally on snow to see how I can do but it's been tough I'm not really sure if I can handle it but I'm trying would you happen to have any tips?

@@michaelmanix1564 You’ll do great as you put more time in it, just need a little patience in the beginning.

@ that’s exactly my issue too, it feels like the car weighs as much as box of bananas

@@michaelmanix1564 don’t get discouraged, I was struggling my first week too, at the end of the day it just comes down to practice 😃
