  • Yo! Its DrivesAlot and in this video I will be showing you guys how to replace the spark plugs on a f90 m5. The spark plugs on the f90 m5 are buried in the heart of the engine and can be quite intimidating to get to, but it is actually just a lot of teardown and the actual process isn't that bad. If you have any questions please feel free to leave them down below!

Great video thanks .my only thing🧐for me was you dint gap or measure all plugs with gapping tool eyes alone don’t justify . Never trust pre gap plugs but I guess for a stock car you should be fine keep it up m5💪🏻

Im a shade under 40k miles. I’m taking it up to the dealership today they believe it’s a valve cover gasket that’s leaking.

Update!: The issue that caused the spark plugs to be coated in oil is a leaking valve cover gasket on the drivers side.

@@DrivesAlotI did plugs on my Dinan 5 e39, of course way less complicated than a F90 but yes, change those coil packs also. A little pricey for sure but man does it make a massive difference in how the car runs. I did mine and it was like the day I drove it off the lot again. Great video, been thinking about a 2019 F90 (like the old school round dash gauges not the new backwards electronic gauges) but after seeing the oil in those plugs may rethink it. Not sure when the warranty ends, the car I was looking at is at 40 k.
