Great idea for a podcast! Scanner was such an awesome choice for your first episode too. So unpretentious, down to earth, and knowledgeable. Looking forward to the rest!
Great interview. I learned modular synthesis initially through DivKid's demonstrations of the Mutable Instruments modules. And trying it out on VCV Rack. I saw the band Luna play last year, in a concert of Lou Reed songs. Their stories about Lou's dry sense of humour had a similar ring. Apologies in advance. But the talk of old radio tech like scanners, and 8-bit samplers made me think of a suitably nerdy terrible joke.... 'Mo Farah is the European record holder for the 10,000m run. Mo Dem only runs at 9,600 baud' :)
Such an inspiring artist and kind person.
