I just can't wrap my head around the fact that any other filmmaker/youtuber alive would have sold this 3 hours information through a masterclass or course for at least 300$ but you just gave it to us for free. I don't have enough words to thank you Dan. This is philanthropy. Most impactful filmmaking Philanthropy I've ever witnessed in this platform. Really, I'm without words. Thank you so much.
The fact that your channel is under 1M followers is truly incomprehensible. Probably the most underrated channel and content on RUclips. Thank you for your videos!
This is an actual GOLD. I think this is one of the best resources ever about storytelling. I didn't even notice that I was here from start to finish. Thank you so much for taking us on this journey and allowing us to access this for FREE. I learned A LOT.
Dude you could've not posted this at a more perfect time for me. @@NavierPatterson hahahaha no you do not, I was the worst student. I just downloaded the video, transcribed it with timecodes using Whisper and then gave the transcript to an LLM. Then all I had to do was ask it to summarise it in a specific way with youtube compatible timestamps.
Dan this video is hands down the best I’ve ever watched detailing how to create and edit videos on a professional level - I’ve watched it multiple times all the way through and I plan to watch it many more times - your level of expertise is unmatched on any platform - and it has nothing to do with you working with jimmy it’s just your skill and ability to share what you create with the world the way you do - I with you unlimited success far beyond this -
Nobody has released such In-depth Video of RUclips Video creation till date. Your video will definitely help many filmmakers, editors, and aspiring artists. Thank you for your work.
Speechless. The fact you went above and beyond to make such an in-depth video, and by the end of it you're tipping your hate to US? Mate, we tip our hats to you, what an incredible insight into your creative thinking and process bruda. Mad respect, and one day would love to meet and just chill and chat! Only just starting my creative career now, and people like you are why I LOVE the creative space! 🤝
Holy crap, I literally had my credit card details inside of MasterClass to take a filmmaking course. Then I just felt like searching on RUclips to see if I could find a video instead of subscribing to MasterClass, and I am so happy I did because I found this masterpiece. Thank you for saving me $240!
I am an adult father of 2 working full time and trying to grow as a filmmaker/videographer on the side and this was insanely eye opening. Not only did i watch this all the way through, but I will be re-watching this. I know this will get lost in the thousands of comments but this was more helpful that i think you realize. First time watcher and new sub thank you.
Many RUclipsrs or self-proclaimed filmmakers try to lure you to their channels with flashy titles and promises to teach you how to make a film. But when you watch their content, you’re left disappointed-it feels like a trap, full of talk but lacking the real information you need. But with you, it was completely different. I enjoyed every minute of your film. You are genuine, hardworking, and honest. I’ve learned so much from you and continue to learn. You’ve truly inspired me. Thank you for all your effort, for not being selfish, and for sharing such valuable knowledge with those of us still struggling on our filmmaking journey.
I subscribe to about 150 channels, and Dan, you're the ONLY ONE I turn on the notification bell for. The DOUBLE the work you put in on this one, to explain the process as you go (I'm sure was an interesting exercise to mastering your own process and growing techniques) and all your days and days of hard work is NOT lost on SO many of us in the same field. Fascinating and an inspiration to watch, and worth watching again over time is the even better part. Beyond appreciated! You're awesome Bru!
This isn’t just a video, t’s a legit masterclass in storytelling. As a commercial video editor, watching this got me thinking about how I do my work. It showed me what I can improve, made me feel less weird about some of the stuff I thought only I did. So much knowledge packed into under three hours. Huge thanks for this, Dan!
I’m convinced this stands as the most impactful, insightful pieces of content on RUclips right now. A free feature length in depth process covering everything from start to finish, that is both educational and highly entertaining. This is what RUclips needs more of. Thank you bru! ❤
Absolutely phenomenal Dan!! I’ve been lucky enough to see your journey first-hand and how much of yourself you put into everything you do and the sacrifices that you have had to make. So incredibly proud of you.
Moved to Manhattan 5 months ago from Middle East in a long bad way unfortunately and my family will wait my case 1-2 years. Long story short I have a story to tell and thanks to you it was an eye opener for me. You and Casey are my heroes that’s why I came here and that’s why after I lived a lot of places now I feel like I am home. Thank you so much now my turn to make that video and hopefully we will work together one day!
Hi Dan, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your incredible tutorial. I watched it in just two days, and I can't even begin to tell you how much I’ve learned from it. Your insights were invaluable, and I promise to apply the things you've taught as I continue on my journey. I've taken the time to write down some key points, and I ended up summarizing your video into five pages of notes! Your dedication to sharing your knowledge is truly inspiring, and it has made a significant impact on me. Thank you once again for all the effort you put into creating such a comprehensive and insightful tutorial. I look forward to learning even more along the way and implementing everything I've gained from your guidance.
Literally watch it all at one goal. Thanks for the whole process explanation, always a big fan of you Dan! Storytelling bigger than everything 🙌🏻 Blessing from Malaysia!
Dan is the only person I know who knows how to make viral philanthropy videos consistently. It's so underestimated how difficult this is. Most easy attention grabs are usually cheap drama or straight toxic behaviour. Thanks for working so hard to give recognition and empowerment to some of the most beautiful people on this earth. You are amazing Dan!!
I am so happy for finding this video on youtube, I learned many things because of this. Definitely it will improve my future film making. Thanks Dan mace for this great effort for making this Video. 🥳🥳
To handle all the workload that comes with Beast Philanthropy is one thing, but to stay committed to the craft whilst educating hundreds of thousands of others and not missing a beat simultaneously is something I've never seen done before. Incredibly grateful for you, Dan.
Made it to the end in one sitting. It’s empowering to see content like this produced by a fellow South African, this industry seems so inaccessible at times but there clearly is a pathway to success. Thanks for sharing this!!!
Hey it's me. **The 100% retention guy**. Watched the entire thing here Dan. What a great video. Every single time I watch your videos, I get inspired and I am not even close to a film maker in any way, honestly. The @36:00 mark was pretty powerful and my first BIG smile came right at @53:00. You almost nailed the "how long is this video right now" time, well done, even as the one that edits it :) I wasn't going to watch the Beast video until this was done, but then @1:59:00 you told me to, so that is what I did. Doing that, added way more context to what you were saying here. The best laugh was when you realized you sent everyone to watch the video and that they might not like it..... The final cut was fantastic. Your hard work comes through in these videos, no doubt, ever. Great work and as always keep on keeping on. You're awesome BRU!
I’m a Just a guy from Sri Lanka that loves filmmaking and photography. I’m trying my very best to make a name for myself because I love the art of it. I’ve been watching countless RUclips tutorials trying to understand the key elements of a good filmmaker but I don’t think I’ve ever come across a tutorial so transparent. The fact that every Raw moment was shared and that it was done simultaneously while doing other projects on the go, just showed us how genuine you truly are and your love for the art of filmmaking. I’ve never been drawn to a video like I have with this. And I can promise you will watch this countless more times so I can absorb as much as I possibly can. I am truly grateful for this video Dan❤. Thanking you is simply not enough, so if you ever travel towards Sri Lanka hit me up and i would be more than honoured to show you our little paradise 🇱🇰.
I have never finished a 2hr tutorial before in my life because I just lack patience, but Dan made it so easy and I have never been inspired more to work on my craft.
I never thought I would sit 3 hours through a tutorial on RUclips. this was more than a tutorial this was a film, even more than that it was a masterpiece. This video has so many gems that I'll be taking away so much, thank you so much for this one Dan!
This is the best 'Master' tutorial I have ever watched. This is everything you're looking for to get an insight into how other filmmakers do their work, so you can be confident about your own and know if you're on the right path. You never get the full picture of how it really is, but here you do, and even from the same person and the same film/project! Thank you very much for this incredible tutorial. I really hope it makes other filmmakers comfortable with making more films and following their dreams outside their comfort zone. I've never made a comment like this before, but when people like you take the time to create content like this, it deserves all the respect! 🙏
I spent 2 full days siting in front of the tv while writing everithing down in my laptop. I can only say thank you 🙏. As a travel filmmaker Im in a process of not only telling compelling stories, but to optimising for the platform. See you on the road!
Great film Dan, I appreciate the effort it took to creat a video of how to make a video. Great to see you plugging your product too (BRU Bar). Watched all the way through and to the end 👍🏼

Thank you, Dan, for this incredible tutorial that is helping so many people become filmmakers or simply create amazing content. I’m studying video editing and video making on my own, and this video (which I watched until the very end) gave me so much valuable information and motivation. There’s so much to learn, and at first, it can feel overwhelming. But I’ve realized that taking it one step at a time, focusing on one thing at a time, is how everything begins. Thank you again! I hope that one day I can give something back to the world-something that helps people achieve their dreams and guides them, just like your video did for me. Thank you so much!
Bru u are a true goosebumbgenerator! This was such a great journey :) also that take on reading a book a week within the time i bindgewatch not even in a week but a couple days is strong!
Dan thank you for the countless lessons. How did you make such an amazing story ABOUT a story?! I watched the full nearly 3 hours in one sitting taking notes the whole time. You turned countless unknown unknowns into known unknowns for me; I have a ton of work to do. Thank you for inspiring me. Your art, kindness, and grit are what makes the internet and RUclips such a beautiful and symbiotic place. Cheers Bru
This masterpiece does not have nearly enough views for what it's worth, Dan's passion for filmmaking can be felt throughout the entirety of this video and it is truly inspiring. If you are reading this; know that YOU have inspired us. I've lived without a dream for long and yet today I feel a fire burning, I know now that there's nothing I need more in life than to bring people together and that because of this my view of the impossible has broadened; I now see my dream as certainty, foretold, and I am grateful to you for being a step in my change. I have little to none experience but when I make it I'll come back here to thank you again.
I struggle to watch anything for more than 15 minutes, even things I really want to watch and Ive just watched your amazing tutorial. I'm in online education and it's so hard to get decent video and audio made, and now I have so many ideas and new skills to try and also some idea of the incredible amount of work that goes into proper film/video making. You are incredibly generous for making and sharing this - it was clearly an epic project. Thank you so much.
I finished the entire video. I took a ton of notes and I am going to implement a lot of your system into my high school video productions class. This is priceless. I have taken a lot of online courses etc but just this video is the most in depth hook writing content I have seen. Great storytelling. I bought the first of the ten books, which I started reading already, and will go through the whole list. I can't thank you enough!
Dan just wanted to say, as someone who lived in south africa for 17 years growing up. Thank you for being part of something wonderful. You inspire me to tell my stories.
We are brand new to editing, recording and building a new Podcast in Latin America to talk about idols and provide valuable stories. Watching this opened our eyes to the future and eager to bring valuable content to everyone! Thanks, Dan! You are an absolute legend. Lots to learn, lots to explore, but this content is the best piece of advice and a masterclass at once.
It took me two and a half months to finish this video-the same amount of time needed to craft, plan, shoot, edit, and hopefully upload my first RUclips video. Step by step, I went through every chapter as I was making my piece of art.The amount of gratitude I feel toward you is incomparable. I don’t know where the journey of filmmaking will lead me, but I’m glad to be experiencing it. And I am glad to have a mentor like you in my first steps. Thank you, Dan. Stay Safe!
I took so many notes from this, so far I’ve watched it twice. Big Dan Mace fan, thank you for the ridiculous amount of time and effort you just gave away for free!
This is great work! I learnt so much Took me up to a week to complete watching but I have a complete note book of ideas from this. Thank you! Well done Dan 🤴📷💯
I watched this entire vid to the end and I must say, this has been one of the best filmmaking course video I've ever watched. I feel guilty getting this level of knowledge for free. You are best Dan! We will work together in the future, I'm sure of it😤 Thank you bru ❤
I watched this until the end. This is so good. I will rewatch it several times to take notes and absorb as much information as possible. It is so hard to keep a 3h long video so engaging as this one. It is a 2 in 1 on inspiration for such a wide range of possibilities... I'm really happy I came across this video.
Dan, idk if you'll even see this or not, thanks for this video! I'm 45 and I've been creating videos for almost a decade. Recently, I've changed, my interests changed, sitting on 10 years experience and $8,000 in equipment and I've been paralyzed mentally on how to approach videos. I'm 2 hours and 17 minutes into this and WOW! The way you broke down this process was just awesome. Thanks dude!
Woaaah, thank you Dan! Am going to watch this now, now, now!! Edit: I just finished and this must be the best bts/tutorial I have ever watched!! Thanks for all the hard work you put into it and into beast philanthropy to help the causes. That you are keeping in touch with your community through pieces like that - even after all your success - is absolutely appreciated! And yes, get those BRU bars to Europe. If this was an ad - it worked ;-) :-)) Am backing up my SanDisk-drives now ....!
I have watched a whole video in one sit and I appreciate your dedication all these days and sleepless nights. Even when you were sick, you did not use it as an excuse. I have subscribed and followed you on other platform. Stay blessed.
I AM IN TEARS! This video came to me in a complete moment of serendipity. I was all fired up to start my channel on YT and Insta, but didn't know where to start. I was thinking of learning some video editing software to begin with(now I laugh at that thought). And then, I came across a reel on Insta where the guy said "Dan Mace should name this video from mastering the art of filmmaking to mastering the art of content creation." And boy was he right. I watched this video in 3 days, took 10 pages of notes, and learned more than I ever thought I could. Thank you for sharing this knowledge that will help people like me who want to begin filmmaking but don't have the know-how. It has given me clarity on my content creation journey. You are truly an amazing person. I hope I will work with you one day. Godspeed!
You have outlined my thoughts better than I would. This video right here is a GOLD MINE. As someone who had failed once at RUclips, I am super thankful to have this guide now. I call this - the Holy Grail of content creation.
I was looking for a video just like this but for Movies or Tv-Shows, but a Mr. Beast Production is several orders of magnitudes bigger then your average Hollywood production so thanks Dan!
As an aspiring filmmaker picking up the camera for the first time, it was amazing to see your process and all the details involved in making such high quality videos. Definitely have given me some inspiration.
Increíble tu aporte, hermano Dan. Espero algún día poder tenerte en Bolivia para compartir tu experiencia con jóvenes indígenas cineastas de mi patria. Saludos!!!!
Thank you, Dan! your this masterclass video has been a huge help over the past two months, inspiring me and keeping me on track to finish my edits on time. thank you so much
Hey, great video. In my opinion the biggest problem with RUclipsrs now is their lack of strategy. Like they upload everything straight away, and then they run out of ideas. This business is about constant uploading, but not too many times per week (and also after I upload something, I use a bit of Famester to make that piece of content instantly viral and popular). It's better to upload like once or twice per week, and it helps to avoid burn out.
Depends on what type of RUclips channel you're running. Real estate agents with channels can't wait because our viewers buy or sell houses in between uploading the video
Thanks for this Dan. Epic to see the entire process. Will try implement some of this into our films, however, our content is a little less scripted and a lot more in the moment.
I just watched the entire video, it took a few days to watch everything and write everything down. Thank you very much for all this knowledge, you are an incredible storyteller! You make your projects come to life.
Took me 2 days but i made it through the video, created a new playlist called 'studying' and am taking my first proper project through this process, i've currently finalised (for now at least) my log line, title, thumbnail & hook. i'm transition from software engineering with no experience and at 29 i felt afraid that it would be too late to become a success (or that i simply wouldn't be able to put in enough time with this old 9-5). After watching this video its sobering, but also gives me hope because i have drive and dedication, and a stubbornness that perfectly suits this craft (and an incredible story that i fought very hard to be able to tell). Thank you for the book recommendations, 'stories that stick' is on its way.
I got to the last second of this! I'm the marketing director of a brazilian NGO (Casa Neon Cunha), but with low budget and a tiny team, I've got to do a lot with my own hands. Learned a lot from this. Thank you so very much.
Finished the inter tutorial. This is gold!!! Courses with much less information have been sold for 100$, 200$ or way more. Thanks for this, specially coming from someone talking about documentary style content for RUclips. 🙌🏼
Thank you. What a privilege to see you at work. So much. Creativity, care, and an enthusiasm for the process of filmmaking. Instructive. And inspiring.
hey Dan! i just finished watching this tutorial all the way through for the 3rd time. When you released this last spring it was about a month before i started my first job as a creative intern, I had bought my first mirrorless camera 3 months prior, and had only picked up an old DSLR for the first in November 2023, which i had to jail break in order to shoot video. The first time i watched this masterclass i had no idea how much it would form me as a filmmaker. I had never opened premiere pro in my life, and i was staring directly down the barrel of a summer internship as an editor. To this day I have no clue how i secured that job. Lets just say that it was a sink or swim moment. I ended up watching it all the way through again over the summer before a big project and I refer to this as a resource often. (Especially the way you set up your bins lol) Now here I am, 8 months later. I just watched this in one sitting because I leave for the Dominican Republic in 2 weeks where i will be making my first non-fiction film, where i am scripting, shooting, producing, editing and all the things by myself as you do on so many projects. It has been officially a year since I picked up a camera for the first time, and I have been able to turn this from a side gig in college, into a business and full time job, and alot of that I can attribute back to this video. Thank you so much Dan, not only for being a role model in the filmmaking game, but for spending so much time on this resource. Sincerely, A Storytelling and Production major that film school has taught nothing. Brooklynn Bonanno
@@Drastic644 CGI is a broad term that is technically all encompassing. Parts of this image look very obviously generative AI to me - As a artist with experience in both generative AI, video editing, & VFX. I'd say with almost 100% certainty its generative AI and a bit of Photoshop kit-bashing other photos together. But, regardless of how its achieved, it's fake.
it’s Ai in photoshop actually :) there’s no scandal here haha. nothing to ‘uncover’ you are filmmakers - it’s so obviously fake. overly so. the hospital wasn’t filmed prior our arrival, so when we arrived the build was like half way done. The hospital was actually in ruins before the restoration began - because it was so remote we had nowhere to source imagery from. but u can see on google earth what it looked like more or less. like a few poles. Jimmy says ‘a few months ago’. besides the video and beast philanthropy’s contribution isn’t about the completion of the hospital. it’s about powering the hospital along with ‘give power’ the org. We also did a bunch of other stuff. this is in no way ‘faking a video’. the other stuff that’s claimed to be ‘fake’ is warp stabilised distortion. i get that not everyone is a filmmaker but i mean come on guys haha.
Nothing nefarious was done here. it’s so obviously photoshopped lol. i mean the moss on the side etc. No ‘expensive cgi’. If u actually watch the film, it isn’t about building a hospital, but besides that, this hospital is in the middle of nowhere. We had no footage of what it looked like prior. we only arrived 3 months into its restoration, hence Jimmy’s line ‘a few months ago’. at this point i’m like, come on guys.. the fact u as filmmakers can’t see that this was used as a way to create a visual of what the building looked like more or less months before arrival. when speaking to locals they described it as ‘in ruins’ . google earth with show same thing. like a couple poles. most important to note is that this building is not what the film or beast philanthropy’s contribution was about. it’s about solar panels (hence the title). stop nitpicking at everything u can guys. The philanthropy is an incredible organisation. leave it out your drama tea spills or whatever. the other stuff that’s apparently ‘fake’ is warp stabiliser distortion lol. We are a tiny editing team and don’t have all the tools so not everything is perfect.
@@DanMaceif you actually watch the video of him talking about the hospital he basically says “we’re going to run power to the NEW hospital. He’s making it seem like to everyone that he is building a new hospital and not restore it. Why instead of “blurring” it out you leave it in and say we’re gonna make this look a little nicer for everyone? But instead remove that hospital part and keep mentioning how it’s new. It’s not new it’s literally got a fresh coat of paint. Sure maybe it was more then just paint but come on why hide the hospital with effects, obviously to make everyone believe Jimmy just built a new hospital but isn’t talking about that because there’s no point that’s not big enough to mention.
@@DanMace obviously. They told you how to edit it you did and everyone will be oblivious to the fact he’s making a subtle idea that the hospital isn’t there, and then magically at the end there’s the building that wasn’t there when he first showed it… so people automatically say “WOW Mr beast is such a good guy he built this new hospital.” Even though the video wasn’t fully based on the building of the hospital.
I just wanted to let you know that I watched all the way till the end in one sitting, except for taking my dogs and rabbit out for a walk. I am now watching a second time. I am brand new at youtube and really just want to make small films. I started last year and got looped into chasing subs and the like and my channel went off into decorating when really i have something to say about life and about suffering and pushing through that to the dream. So, thanks to your wonderful video I am learning how to create what is in my head i am going to keep watching and re-watching until I get it and then keep making videos until I create what is in my mind. Thank you so much for this video. You are so wonderfully talented and hard working and you really deserve every success. I hope i shall even be a portion of your talent, or at least live up to my hardest try. I certainly shall try my very best. Cheers. Thank you from Alexandra.
I love oportunities like this, I've been having a huge hunger to learn more about stoytelling, sound design and meshing all kinds of different scenes toghether. Thank you for your time and dedication for this video, it was awesome!
I have being watching the video for more than a month now I always find the right time to watch and avoid distractions. This is an awesome piece of work. Thank you for sharing and also hat off to you as well ❤
I finish the video in one sitting and saved it in my “helpful video” playlist. This shall be my guide as I create more and more films. Thank you so so so much for this in depth tutorial/film.
man, I just finished watching this video after two and a half days of taking notes and looking up the stuff being referenced. Thank you very much for crating this peace of work, this tutorial of sorts, for all of the creators, new and vetarns, to see and take insipiration from. Really really great work!
this is the first video I searched for after creating my channel - I am still in the learning and ideation phase of creating some content. This has helped massively almost as much as buying and using the whiteboard paint has annoyed my gf when she sees me writing on the wall now. Cheer Dan, This has opened my eyes to something new that I'll use on my first video...Coming soon
Truly a masterpiece it's crazy how I'm seeing someone edit such a extensive video then also make a video about it and explain the basics just mind blowing the amount of work that was put in
Dan is not JUST a genius, he's an obsessive genius. Grateful beyond words to have someone so committed to excellence telling our story.
Yea pretty epic for telling so much lol

I'm letting all the ads on this video run, no matter how long they are because I cannot believe this is FOR FREE!! You're amazing, thank you!
Thank you bru! I’m so happy you appreciate it so much :)

Thanks @dan! I actually purchased your masterclass (amazing) and happy to see another great product here too. Thanks for sharing
Pero hola vale antonio, tu tambien haces mucho de esto, de regalar informacion increiblemente valiosa, eres lo mas mejor que hay.
Can you imagine the ad revenue if 50% of his viewers watch 50% of this course?
No te hagas...tú también ayudas y enseñas un montón, de gratis bro 🤭
Thanks, this produced much needed positive energy , and lit up many more ideas for me.
I'm in the process of filming a mega series where I travel to 30 cities in 30 days in Asia and I definitely made time during my crazy itinerary these past few days to watch every bit of this. Thank you so much for working so hard to advance content creation on this platform. You deserve everything coming your way Dan!

@@NavierPatterson hahahaha no you do not, I was the worst student. I just downloaded the video, transcribed it with timecodes using Whisper and then gave the transcript to an LLM. Then all I had to do was ask it to summarise it in a specific way with youtube compatible timestamps.
Dan this video is hands down the best I’ve ever watched detailing how to create and edit videos on a professional level - I’ve watched it multiple times all the way through and I plan to watch it many more times - your level of expertise is unmatched on any platform - and it has nothing to do with you working with jimmy it’s just your skill and ability to share what you create with the world the way you do - I with you unlimited success far beyond this -
This video was so thorough it required a bookmark so I can view again as needed.
Thanks for this tutorial and comprehensive lesson.
Ah man that makes me so happy! ❤️
True, it's so rare for RUclipsrs who teach filmmaking to actually have a body of amazing work themselves. Dan is a legend.
59:43 I love how humble jimmy is Bru, the next time you meet him kindly extend my deepest love to him for all he does
I subscribe to about 150 channels, and Dan, you're the ONLY ONE I turn on the notification bell for.
Hi Dan,
I hope this message finds you well.
To handle all the workload that comes with Beast Philanthropy is one thing, but to stay committed to the craft whilst educating hundreds of thousands of others and not missing a beat simultaneously is something I've never seen done before. Incredibly grateful for you, Dan.

The absolute act of generosity pouring all of this into essentially a free filmmaking course is wild. Only a good person would do this for real

This is the best 'Master' tutorial I have ever watched. This is everything you're looking for to get an insight into how other filmmakers do their work, so you can be confident about your own and know if you're on the right path.

You have outlined my thoughts better than I would. This video right here is a GOLD MINE. As someone who had failed once at RUclips, I am super thankful to have this guide now. I call this - the Holy Grail of content creation.
The algos are not serendipitous, my dude.

Just finnished the whole video in one day. Now I've to rewatch it slowly. It's a masterpiece. Thanks a lot for your effort
I was looking for a video just like this but for Movies or Tv-Shows, but a Mr. Beast Production is several orders of magnitudes bigger then your average Hollywood production so thanks Dan!
Yea
Such great insight in to how these Beast Philanthropy videos are made. Thanks for sharing this valuable info with the rest of us BRU! 👍
Ikr their epic
As an aspiring filmmaker picking up the camera for the first time, it was amazing to see your process and all the details involved in making such high quality videos. Definitely have given me some inspiration.
Increíble tu aporte, hermano Dan. Espero algún día poder tenerte en Bolivia para compartir tu experiencia con jóvenes indígenas cineastas de mi patria. Saludos!!!!
Realmente, un capo.

"Knowing all prevents thinking" ~ Dan Mace
That is so TRUE
Thank you, Dan! your this masterclass video has been a huge help over the past two months, inspiring me and keeping me on track to finish my edits on time.
thank you so much
Excited to watch this!
Let's go
Hey, great video.
Famester?
Depends on what type of RUclips channel you're running. Real estate agents with channels can't wait because our viewers buy or sell houses in between uploading the video
Thanks for this Dan. Epic to see the entire process. Will try implement some of this into our films, however, our content is a little less scripted and a lot more in the moment.
2:42:26 true true. Every frame pops. Thanks for your work!

@@999Remi I watched the video in 20x speed.
No, just kidding. I skipped to the end of the video to confuse you guys xD
Just started watching! I cannot wait to watch this all haha
Sammeeee
I just watched the entire video, it took a few days to watch everything and write everything down. Thank you very much for all this knowledge, you are an incredible storyteller! You make your projects come to life.
Dan, I heard your name for the first time today, but it doesn't change the fact, your videos are amazing ;-)
Haha yup same
Took me 2 days but i made it through the video, created a new playlist called 'studying' and am taking my first proper project through this process, i've currently finalised (for now at least) my log line, title, thumbnail & hook. i'm transition from software engineering with no experience and at 29 i felt afraid that it would be too late to become a success (or that i simply wouldn't be able to put in enough time with this old 9-5).

I’m watching this instead of Oppenheimer
Haha lol

And after that you are going to make your own oppenheimer film haha
Here before it goes viral

Fck god, pry to dan
what could Jesus possibly have to say in comparison to Dan Mace breaking down a film
hey Dan! i just finished watching this tutorial all the way through for the 3rd time.
(Especially the way you set up your bins lol)
Now here I am, 8 months later.
Sincerely,
A Storytelling and Production major that film school has taught nothing.

The evidence of Dan casually showing his use of generative AI / photoshop to over inflate charity efforts starts right here 1:03:24
It’s cgi
@@DanMace you actually replied
@@Drastic644nothing to hide here :)
Crazy how no one has responded to this video after Rosanna’s video. Where is everyone?
@@Maggotbytesi edited and filmed the video. trust me i watched it :)
@@Maggotbytes Its like saying you gave McDonalds meals to the homeless when all you did was give away one fry each.
Thank you for your time and dedication for this video, it was awesome!

this is the first video I searched for after creating my channel - I am still in the learning and ideation phase of creating some content. This has helped massively almost as much as buying and using the whiteboard paint has annoyed my gf when she sees me writing on the wall now.
Cheer Dan, This has opened my eyes to something new that I'll use on my first video...Coming soon
