I really enjoyed this movie. James Wan basically did an homage to all the horror movie cliches and had fun with this one. It's entertaining if you don't take it too serious
The word campy has no meaning after 12 years of movies with people in goofy costumes fighting each other. Basically it was like the movie Split/Glass/ When Gabrielle took over he altered her body making it stronger, faster, where it healed faster/better, and I think he did something to her joints allowing the weird ragdoll movement. Its why the back of her skull sealed up when when we went to sleep leaving only a bit of blood in her hair. She couldn`t kill him since he was part of her brain but she sealed him away like when they were little.

Nothing was misunderstood. Just didn’t land with us.
James Wan knows "horror". This movie is campy as fck and u know in the 15mins who's the murderer. This is gonna be cult classic, maybe...🤘
The script would work much better for a videogame! I'm 100% sure... At least I couldn't predict such a crazy origin for Gabriel! This movie reminded me of Jeepers Creepers from 2001! XD Hahahaha! They both made me laugh and with great kills and gore! XD
People dont realize the Gabriel is so good because he has two sets if eyes
“Damn with the head injuries… JESUS” IM DYING NIKKI😂😂😭💀
It's actually refreshing to hear you talk about a movie you didn't like that much.
Thank you!!
Malignant is like the roles are reversed and they tried to make a low-key serious movie inspired by the "Scary Movie" type films.
I absolutely loved this movie, this is my kind of horror film!!! I watched this movie in the movie theater and even before half way through I had guessed the plot almost 100% exactly! I was so siked !
This movie was absolutely amazing. I loved it in theaters.
This movie is masterpiece 🔥❤🔥💪... James Wan 💪💪🤩
this movie is absolutely amazing. sad that you didn’t get it!
Not liking something isn’t the same as not getting it. We get it. It’s just a poorly executed movie with too many questionable story decisions.
@@NikkiStevenReact That is kinda the point. It's a terrible film, made with a big budget and good cinematography. Everything else in the film is wrong, but that's why it's so enjoyable. Takes a lot of skill to make such a finely crafted piece of rubbish.
@@NikkiStevenReact ....Then you don't get it. The terrible execution IS the point. Oh well. Well have to agree to disagree. I respect your opinion even if I don't agree.
There is no agree or disagree. Opinions aren’t fact. We didn’t like it despite understanding what “the attempt” was and it’s ok. You liked it and that’s ok too.
This movie is a love letter to hardcore horror fans and I think it is brilliant.
Y'all reactions at the end got me laughing so hard.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pure respect for you saying you did not like this movie. It is extremely rare for reactors to openly admit they did not like what they were watching or listening to, for fear of upsetting or alienating their fanbase.
You me and the movies is also one of those channels that openly admit when they don't like a film.
It's supposed to be outlandish and campy. It's a nod to 70's & 80's Italian horror. Which always had stunning visuals, but lacked depth
Still waiting on the counters for hits on Steven's arm, "Bitch!", "Ah, hell no!", "Fuck!", and a few others!
I really enjoyed this movie. James Wan basically did an homage to all the horror movie cliches and had fun with this one. It's entertaining if you don't take it too serious
11:34 the movie keeps telling us but we had no idea!
I know a lot of people don't like this movie but I had so much fun with it!
I actually enjoyed this movie alot. It kinda reminded me of a long story from like Creep Show or Tales from the crypt stuff I grew up on so I was all in. Cheers to you both 🤘😃
The main Actress of this movie is the same woman from the first Annabell, and her younger self is the girls from Annanelle comes home.
You guys not wanting to talk bad things about the movie cause of the work and love that went into it by the people involved is something that makes me have a shred of hope for humanity, cause that is so absolutely wholesome for no reason other than it is pure humanity.
The movie was suppose to be silly my loves….James Wan talked about it and say what it was his intention with it 🤷🏻♀️ you should know what you gonna watch before watch it….this is a CAMPY movie
Yeah, still a fail in our eyes. It wasn’t silly, it was just bad in our opinion. Knowing what we are watching would completely defeat the purpose of doing reactions. Knew it was going to be different and thought it was bad.
@@NikkiStevenReact he talked about it it and say not to expect The Conjuring or Insidious and everyone that went expecting that didn’t liked it but for what he wanted to do is a well done movie is just kinda weird seeing his name on the making xD
@@marielaoquendorodriguez670 yes we know, literally just said knew it would be different. We weren’t expecting those things going into it. I knew it was meant to be different and that all I knew. Not liking it has nothing to do with that. It was a failed attempt at camp for us and the story was just not good. You enjoyed it that’s dope.
@@NikkiStevenReact i just go with everything positive and try not to see the negatives and I enjoy movies like that if not I wouldn’t like anything cause every movie have its faults but every person is different I guess! ☺️
Absolutely everyone is different. I try to be as honest as possible. If I don’t like something I’m not going to pretend that I did. And positivity is awesome but nothing in life is perfect. That said, I did start the post movie analysis with what I liked. But being critical of something is not a bad thing and it’s ok to say you don’t like something. Wide variety of options is important.
Oh god was so glad y'all got to watch this! My wife and I watched and actually enjoyed it right there with conjuring. Thought this was super creepy, a bit silly cgi, but overall weird!
Gabriel going "Free 4 All" against the prisoners and police would have been epic if that "killing spree" was an interactive video game where the player unlocks all abilities, unlimited HP and becomes OP 🔥
It’s horror camp. Think drag me to hell or Evil Dead 2
George Young was so good in this! He’s British and his American accent was totally unclockable to me I can’t wait to see his next project
During the overhead house scene when she’s running through the rooms it was built on a sound stage. James said it felt like taking the roof off of a doll house and they used a spider camera like the ones the nfl used for football on the cables
You two should do a reaction to "Nobody" Its the Blue-collar version on John Wick. Its got the kills plus some humor.
If you want to give james wan another goni would suggest Death Sentence. Its not a scary movie at all, more of a drama kind of. Its quite good.
Yes! Thank you. Super underrated. Love Kevin Bacon! 🥓😁
Felt bad when I realized he had to actually run up that parking garage in real time like 4 times 😂 Uphill sprints are a bitch.
You guys should check out "Slither" around Halloween. Director of the Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn, Comedy Horror starring Nathan Filling and some people from things you love like The Walking Dead. It's pretty awesome.
I was entertained from start to finish. The movie was a lot of fun and a nice change of pace from the horror movies of today.
100% agree!
This movie was absolutely hilarious and I loved it. Don't care at all that it wasn't scary
Hahahhahaha "911, yah fuck this guy"
When she started running backwards at 100mph at everyone near the end I lost it
In case you didn’t notice Maddie the main character is the main character from the first Annabelle movie. The pregnant blonde one and I don’t think this was meant to be a horror movie. It was meant to be cheesy
I enjoyed the movie a lot but I understand why ppl wouldn’t find it enjoyable 🤣 you guys are hilarious
Guys EVIL DEAD 2013 reaction please
"This reminds me of the Resident Evil, no not Resident Evil" oh it will soon enough. Lmao
I just found this film and found it utterly hilarious 🤣 now im on a reaction spree and you guys definitely didnt disappoint
At the beginning I was like “It has to be her somehow” but maaaaaaan! I wasn’t ready!! 😂
Nikki is hilarious "9-1-1 hello this guy fucking sucks" and "Oh no he's a Bent Neck Lady!"
although i'm not a fan of this movie or james wan filmography in general, all of this silliness and cheesiness was on purpose. the over the top acting, the camp elements and ridiculousness are an homage to b movies and cult classics, especially from the giallo sub genre, popular in the 70's which was a predecessor to the american slasher film genre.
I had so much fun watching this movie in the cinema, i went with my family and it scalated from 0% to 100% so quickly that we couldn't stop laughing and saying what was gonna happen after JJSJ
Thank you for your reaction!
bitch please This movie was fucking great, it was like watching an old school camp. This shit hasn't been seen in a long time. I don't give it a 10/10 but a 6/10. Wan took a risk and it was worth it, because staying in the same stories is burning the style
