Danno! You missed the simple truth organic Colombian coffee pods….48…regularly 23.99 down to 11.99 and there’s a $2 coupon bringing them to only $9.99! They only had one at my store but it looked like they may have had more at yours. They were right under Folgers to the left. Great deal! Thanks for always getting out there and forewarning!!!
Open and smell, NO SMELL, MEANS NO TASTE ON STRAWBERRIES.
And most of the time, it's the strawberries from California that have no smell and no taste! If the box doesn't say they're from Florida or even Mexico, I won't buy them! (but it's strawberry season where I'm from and I've been going every few days to pick my own!)
@@Melanie220 We are in Strawberry Festival Season in TN. Last year Kroger switched tomatoes from Ripley, TN to Grainger County. Ripley's is 20 miles away, deep red tomatoes, Grainger's were orangy looking lacking in real tomato taste. So much for buying local. In the 51 years I've lived in W. TN green beans were only fit for the chickens or hogs. My mom and grandma raised all of theirs and canned them. Grandma was young when she married grandpa, 8 kids, raised in the FDR Depression.
Cooking those snack pizzas in a microwave leaves a soggier crust but when you're hungry and in a rush it works. At $.99/ each they're cheaper than the old pot pie standby. They are also cheaper, more filling, and quicker than most after school or other snacks.
Walmart has the cheapest canning jars, and lids, pts $10.97, Quarts $12.97. Not a name brand, but does it its job well. I've already canned potatoes and recanned Diced Tomatoes. Yes, you can re-can, canned or frozen veggies. Especially high-acid ones. Fresh is 3 hrs in the water bath. Re-can is 2 hrs.

At my Kroger honey crisp digital deal was last week not this week. Problem with shopping so early they don’t have their stuff together when they open.

About those little microwavable containers of pasta - Even on sale they are expensive for the volume of actual food. Consider buying smaller, glass food storage containers with great lids and filling with cannedcor cheaper yet cooked pasta dishes. I like Snapware and when we converted years ago we bought one package of them thennused them until the savings by usingb them broke even wirh the purchase cost; then we bought znother. In the summer we froze the food in the Snapware andcitvpretty much thawed lunch time ; even in the work fridge.

Gooood morning Danno, Jess and Dannomates. Went to Kroger and took advantage of alot of these deals. Been getting their beans for years. They are the best! Those of us who have pop can deposits have to factor that into the price so a soft drink sale has to be AMAZING ro be worth it😊
Hi Danno and Jess! I think Kroger canned veggies are as good as Walmart. I think a lot of times it depends on the season, but I check the cans now to see where they come from and I make sure there is NO Lead warning! Yes I found a lead warning and the carn came from over seas.

As the company that bought Ball canning started to buy up and put out of business all of thier US competitors, Ball deemed canning a hobby. In thev pocess they now make only limited production runs and onkl a few months of the year to control prices and maximize profits. A number of other brands have been coming on board.
Newell, who owns Ball and Kerr, is based here in the USA. The others are based in China.

I love stocking up on .99 cent frozen meals. Perfect snack size for us, when we eat several snack size meals throughout the day, rather than 2 or 3 big meals all at once.

Good morning Danno!!!!! I love Kroger boost. I am in Central Florida. We don't have stores here. But we do have delivery. My delivery people all know I am in a wheelchair. They actually bring everything in. They stack my drinks where I need them. They put the cold bags by the fridge and make sure I can get everything put away. They are all amazing. Way better than Walmart.
I was doing a Kroger pick up order last week but did not want to drive back to Kroger. It would cost me just as much in gas as it would in savings.

See if the expiration on the chips is past July 4 that’s a good deal for memorial day and July 4 on the potato chips!!!
Some of the products that don’t bear cargill labels are labeled all natural.

BTW... I tried Raos frozen lasagna. Never again. It was awful. I threw it away. I refuse to try an over priced frozen pizza. I will stick with Stauffer's.

Thank you Danno. May 1st, elder 10% day. I'm reading the sale tags and UNDERSTANDING them. The five or more, Started counting them to make sure I'd have the five, was short, decided to revisit, ended with six. At checkout, nope.. At customer service, explained... upshot, she visited the area, came back and I got a $12. refund. This is big for me as I buy gift cards (4X pts) and use them for groceries. Got a lot of stock up and groceries for my $100 gift card. My shopping has gone to a higher level thanks to your teaching.
Hello, What has happened to Top Ramen noodles? Anyone can answer, if you know…It disappeared years ago, even before Covid happened. Walmart stores, at least my local Walmart, Eastpoint Ga store stopped selling them. Kroger stopped selling them. I have seen them on Walmart’s web site. The prices that the merchants were selling them for shipping was “Unreal”, Like 1 , 3 oz pack was for $8. I saw a 12 pack was over $20. I like Top Ramen, I hate that I can’t find them at a reasonable price.

After we get moved, I am going to be trying to figure out how to eat cleaner, no processed junk, grow my salads, buy meat from a good rancher. Pray for me, we are trying to stop diet coke this week. Lol

It blows me away that I’m only 100 miles up the road from you in Columbus, but the deals can be quite different. Last week Kroger had 5 lb. potatoes for $2 by you, $2.50 up here. This week we have organic Driscoll strawberries for $2.49.
I have noticed the same thing with his produce deals. Sometimes they’re off by a week. Other times the pricing is different like you said. Cincinnati is in a different division than Columbus so that’s why.
Yesterday I bought and canned about 5 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breast ($1.99/lb) and about 3 pounds of 80/20 ground chuck ($3.99/pound). I kept enough out to make a couple of hamburger patties and 2 pieces of chicken for future meals. Plus, the grocery store had a FREE Taco Bell taco 🌮 kit with a $5 purchase, so I may have tacos on the 5th!

They need to bring back the programs that prepared moms for breast feeding!!!!! You get pure, all natural, best for baby, free milk!!!!!!!
