I’m approaching the last year of my degree in Global Health & I plan on attending a graduate program in SCM afterwards. That said, my interest & my goals in my career revolve around healthcare, I want to be involved & establish a career in healthcare supply chains. Do you have any advice for me? Any credentials I can get specific to healthcare industry or ways to better my chances breaking into the industry after completing my graduate SCM certificate. Also do you suggest I gain experience from any supply chain related job & wait for an opportunity to get into healthcare if I dont land a job immediately. Thank you!
I don't think Healthcare Supply Chain really require anything 'different' in terms of education and qualification, but maybe try to get experience in industries that are a very high service focus, and require very careful handling and management controls.
