- Sometimes You Just Have to Make Crafting and Life Easier 😊 Great Cheats / Hacks to Use to Make Minis. I Used Different Nail Art Stickers / Decals in 2D and 3D to Make Miniatures. I LOVE 3D Nail Art!! There are so Many Different Designs Available and Great for Making Miniatures. I Also Used 3D Metal Nail Art Embellishments (Great as Hardware Details), a Pack of Stickers / Decals, Flexible Adhesive Mirror Sheets, Button Battery Wire Fairy Lights, Imitation Gold Leaf, PVC Rigid Foam Board/ Chevron / Sintra Board, Nail Art Foil and Glue Gun Glue Sticks. Most of the Nail Art Stickers / Decals are from Shein and the rest of the products from Amazon. Hope You Enjoy Watching and Making!
I LOVE HOW YOU USED THE FLORAL DECALS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE PLATES! The Glue Sticks into Wine Bottles was so Clever! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS VIDEO!!
Thank you so much!! 💕😄 I am obsessed with the Nail Art decals LOL!! They are so perfect for miniatures. I have used the decals before but when I found out about the 3D ones, you should have seen my excitement 🤣
And the really interesting thing is that some antique full size plates and bowls were actually produced using various forms of transfer. I’ve accidentally ruined some by assuming they were painted or fired on, and discovering that they were transfers instead by scrubbing too hard! 😂 So using the nail art stickers in creating these tiny plates and bowls is true to life… as well as adorable. 😊
@@DawnDavidson 😄 Wow! I didn't know that. That is so interesting. I have a few old plates as ornaments. I think I have to be really careful when cleaning them 😊💕
Excellent!!!!!! 💕 (maybe cut the portraits slightly smaller than the frames _before_ sticking the frames on them though?)
Thank you! You are right, I should have cut them smaller first 😊💕
I loved the little wave in the mirror, very clever designs too!
😄 Thank you very much!! I couldn't resist waving 😊💕
Beautiful! Nail art for minis! I've been using nail art stickers on my peg dolls and nail brushes to paint them. It's cool that the nail stuff has gotten so popular - my fingernails are plain but the peg dolls I make have serious bling!
😄 They are so great! I wish I had discovered them a lot earlier. Definitely perfect for small items 😊💕
What great tips! So simple but really effective to take things to the next level. You remind me I need to make better use of the supplies I have, but I often forget about them lol
I love the nail art stickers. Perfect for miniatures! 😄 I also have supplies I have collected for my crafts and I forget what I have lol 🤣💕
Omg the metallic nail art on the edge of the book looks SO REAL! And I love the wine bottle made of colored glue stick!
Thank you very much! I have to buy more of the metallic nail art and make more books for a miniature book shelf 😊💕
Brilliant ideas, doll's house stuff is expensive.
Thank you! They really are expensive. I hope all these tips will be helpful and you can use them any way you want 😊💕
Also the ones you buy aren’t even that great anyways. You can make way prettier and more intricate things on your own
I'm pleasantly surprised how many details for nail art there are and can be used in miniature. Hot glue bottle is my love!
There are so many different designs available. They really are perfect for miniatures. I do like the bottle too 😊💕
Wow, that was great! Anyone else wonder how people have such big stuff on their nails? Glad it's there, but it would bug me 😁
Thank you so much 😄💕
I do! I definitely have a hard time imagining those door knockers or clocks on my nails! That said, I can’t even stand to have my nails polished. They feel like they are suffocating (and they are!) Drives me nuts. 😂 But this stuff looks awesome in miniatures, so hey, I’m glad someone likes them! 😂
@@DawnDavidson I'm struggling with nail polish too. It just doesn't stay on. My hands are always covered in paint or glue 😂
i love the calming music in this
Thank you very much 😊💕 Glad you like the music
Fantastic ideas, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
You are very welcome! I love the Nail Art 3D and 2D stickers / decals. They are perfect for miniatures. So many designs available too 😊💕

@@tinycraftlife I wished I could see it all upfront, but I am about 5,000 miles away from you. To see things through your eyes must be wonderful. I am at the moment throwing out my couch and stuff from my living room. I will make a craft room with space ( wonder how long it will be spacy) and daylight and my craft room in the basement will be only for my woodworking. I live alone, if I get guests we always sit in the dining room. And it's my house, so why not use the biggest room for me. The only thing I will leave in the living room is my big TV, so I can watch your videos up close with all my craft things around me. I am so excited about this,, especially because then I have space to hang my wreaths, my pictures and display my ceramics. And I will teach ceramics again. I did that for ten years, starting in 1986 and I enjoyed it very much. I was stopped in my tracks yesterday, with my washing machine breaking down. I took it apart last night, and the parts I need will come monday. Then I can restart again. Sometimes I feel really dumb, I am a 67 year old grandma, and I act as if I have another 50 years left 😊
@@pjackson2064 You are still very young!! and it's never too late to start new hobbies. I love ceramics too! I once did a short course and wish I would have pursued it more. It is so wonderful to work with clay. You should definitely start teaching again. There are so many people wanting to learn ceramics. What a wonderful idea to make your own craft room! I have a small room and wish it was much bigger. So much stuff that I have saved for crafting. It looks an absolutely mess at the moment 😂 I hope you get your washing machine fixed soon. Enjoy all the wonderful crafts! I am so excited for you!!!😄💕
@@tinycraftlife I made my first ceramic piece, in 1981, in a shop and I was so proud of it. Six months later I walked into a different shop and there I found out, that the first lady had absolutely no idea about her craft. I learned a lot from the lady in the second shop and when I opened my own in 1988 and could get my hands on all the glazes, under and overglazes, stains, wax, and techniques and I was so eager to learn. It helped a lot, that my best friend, who opened the shop with me, was an interior decorator with every cell if her body. And she made things, you would not believe. To this day I get angry, if I see ceramic pieces that are botched up. I seen some on etsy, I was almost crying out of anger, that people are so brazen to even offer such atrocities. I still have all my molds and my kilt from my store. They are in the second basement room. Please do not ask me about having things......
@@pjackson2064 I can imagine! It's great you still have all the equipment and the experience. You should definitely have to get back into making ceramics and start selling them. It's such a beautiful craft.
I did this at Christmas. I bought Christmas themed mail art, and placed it on clay plates and bowls I made. I love this! Thank you for the inspiration❤
Thank you!! They really are perfect for miniatures! I want to make Christmas items too 😊💕
Thank you for putting a name to all these things, I didn't know a lot of them, so now I can search for them 😊

I’ve only just found you. Where have you been all my life?!
😄 Glad you found me and welcome to my channel! 😊💕
You are so innovative and talented !!!!!! Thank you!
Thank you very much💕😊
another name for the pvc board is Sintra, which is one of my fave building materials for minis. I love the idea of using nail art stickers!
Thank you very much! I will write that in the description. I love using that board too. Which reminds me that I have to order more 😊💕
OoOOhhh this is all so clever!!! And would single-handedly allow me to make a much better version of a Christmas decoration I've been wanting to make for a while that would have been way too expensive: a Christmas tree made entirely of dollhouse-sized books. I was intending to make an ornament-sized one, but this way I can make a proper centerpiece-sized one for nearly nothing!!
Thank you! I'm glad to hear this video was useful. Your ornament idea sounds fantastic! 😊💕
Not cheats, if you watch miniaturists channels, you would see we have been using nail art for years. Loving what youre doing with it though❤
I only discovered them recently and wish I had much sooner 😄 They really are great to use for miniatures 😊💕

@@tinycraftlife I can not find the clock .do you have link ?
@@maneeratromtrairat174 On the UK Shein website, it's called: Black Friday 20 Pieces Gold And Silver Clock Y2k Nail Art Luxury Ornaments. I found it by typing in 3D Watch Clocks Nail Art. The store is called xiuqu. Hope you can find them! 😊💕
Some desiccants in pill bottles come in tiny little round canisters. They are just the right size for flowerpots or kitchen canisters.
Great idea! Thank you for the tip!! 😄💕
Thank you for all your hard and creative work❤
Thank you 💕
Nail Art sheets are one of my favourite go-tos for wood decoration! Even acrylic gold fine nibs don't give that same detail or finish. And I work in 1:24/1:18 a lot so I use the frame ones too. They're perfect! Love the glue stick bottles
Thank you! They really are great for miniatures. I only recently discovered them so I'm obsessed with them 😊💕
All such great ideas. I have done some of these! I can't imagine wearing some of that stuff on my nails!!😮
They are perfect for miniatures. I don't think I would be able to wear them on my nails either 😊💕
Awesome ideas, thank you for sharing
You are more than welcome! 😊💕
Genius. Thanks.
Thank you and you are very welcome 😊💕
Wow! Who knew so many nail art items could be used for miniatures. Such awesome ideas - great job!
If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the self adhesive mirror sheets? I've been looking for them to use as side view mirrors on model cars but could never find any that were truly reflective like a mirror - the ones I came across are either cloudy or too thick. The ones you used look like they would fit.
Thank you! They are perfect for miniatures. Funny you should ask about the mirror...I am currently making a video specifically about the mirror. Video will come out this Thursday. I found it on UK Amazon website under the name: Zonon Flexible Mirror Sheets Self Adhesive. I think the brand is Zonon. They have different sizes and amounts available. It has been great for using on Miniatures as it reflects just like anormal mirror. Hope you can find it! 😊💕
@@tinycraftlife Thanks for the quick response. Off to go searching for the mirror sheets and looking forward to your upcoming video 😃

Guess I missed it, but what did you use for the base of the plates? Great ideas!
Thank you very much! I made the plates using acetate plastic and then painted the underneath with acrylic paint and sealed with mod podge. After that I added the nail art stickers / decals on top of the plates. There is a video I have made which shows how to make the plates 😊💕
Thank you for sharing!

New to your channel, I’m so glad your video popped up for me today. Where can I find sticker/decal books like the one shown here? I’m new to making miniatures and your book had so many fabulous images. Any suggestions where I can find inexpensive supplies? Your video really inspired me, thanks for sharing.
So glad you found my channel and thank you for watching! 😊💕 Those Sticker/decal books are from Shein UK (and most of the 2D and 3D Nail Art decorations) I'm not sure if they have the exact books still on their website but I searched for Vintage sticker/decal books and they still have a lot of different designs. I have bought some supply from Amazon and of course different craft shops. I haven't tried Temu yet but I can imagine they are inexpensive too. Great place to find supplies are also ebay and etsy. These can be pricy but sometimes they sell items/supplies in bulk and you can get some great deals. I also get some odd items from charity shops/thrift stores; jewellery, buttons, old toys etc. They can be great for making miniatures. It's even better if you find ready made miniatures as you can always modify them. Hope this helps 😄
That's just sooo cute
😄 Thank you! 💕

Love your ideas.
I bought tiny little solid picture frames, for nail art to make little pictures, actually the colour of them was a bit strange so I fake silver leafed them, cardboard back and tiny little cardboard stand attached with paper hinge, then painted silver, to stand them up.
Thank you very much! Using silver leaf is a good idea as it definitely makes them look more realistic. I've used a lot of silver and gold pen but the leaf is much better
I have to say I found this video ENTHRALLING!

Uv resin and shrinky dinks are your new best friend
Oh yes!! They are great materials to use. Might have to make a video using them 😄💕
@@tinycraftlife I like to use color shrinky dinks to make mini appliances like toaster over and stove and in the process of making a record player, it saves me so much work of painting and automaticqlly gives that laminate look (though stencil shrinky dink tiles are proving to be a pain even with a square punch, if the oven temp is off one degree the tiles will not be the same size)
@@juliannehannes11 Thank you for the great tip! I've only tried the ones that you have to paint or colour in and I couldn't get the colour right. they were either too dark or too light. I need to try the colour ones 😊💕
@@tinycraftlife Color shrinky dinks are the best, they even have the two different sides to choose from, one side a buff matte color like paint effect and the other side shiny like laminate, and if you add the nail chrome powder on top, the result is stunning.
What I do is print out a picture of the front of a toaster oven free stock vector to trace and cut out, I use a a bit of the clear shrinky dinks for the window and shelf (with a silver marker grill drawn on), for the buttons I used two hole punches painted silver by marker, and I use one paper clip end for the door handle

Quick.question, where can I find the book ypu used.pictures from?
Thank you very much! I got the sticker books from Shein. They have many different types and are cheap too 😊💕
Awesome, thank you so much! 🙂✌💙🌼
Where do you get those nail art stickers? What words to I use to search for them? Thank you!
I bought mine from Shein. I searched for Nail Art Stickers (or Nail Art Decals). There are so many different ones to choose from. I just did a general search. If you want specific ones, just type flowers, roses etc. to narrow the search down. I also did a 3D Nail Art search. You can narrow that down too by typing metal, clock, watches etc. and hopefully that should help you find the ones you want 😊
Can you please tell me where to purchase the decal and sticker book?
The music is very beautiful.
Glad you like the music! I found the decals on Shein. There are so many different designs. You can refine the search by writing key words such as Flowers, Roses etc. I also typed in 3D Nail Art which should show a lot of the 'solid' 3D designs ( I also looked on Amazon but they were much more expensive ). I don't know if Temu sells them. I also found the sticker books on Shein. There are many different designs (retro, vintage etc.). I just typed in Sticker Books. Hope this helps 😊💕

Why didnt you include the places to get the quote unquote nail art stickers ???? Idk where you live but I've never seen anything like them.

Well, people do sometimes forget about things as I did. Making these items and editing videos take a lot of time. Can't always remember to include everything. Most of the Nail art stickers (2D and 3D) are from Shein. Other websites sell them too. Most of the other products are from Amazon 😊
These look really cheap and cheesy. I want my dollhouse to look a little classier than that. I suppose it would work just fine for a little kids dollhouse. The kind with plastic furniture and stuff
Thank you for your comment 😊 These are meant to be cheap. It's up to the to person to decide how to use them (with a bit of imagination). Sometimes you can use cheap materials to make things easier. All the best to you. Thank you for watching 💕
