I made a BIG victorian house with added garden and gazebo with tall fir trees. I showed it and quickly learned that you MUST put it in a glass box. Many of my small pieces were stolen and each day I noticed more things going. Trust me. People love to touch and most are not even aware they are doing it as it is part of our senses and our brains just bond better to an object by feeling it. Great for those that touch, devastating to the owner. Your house is without a doubt the best I have ever seen! Absolutely Amazing. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Our "houses" are a part of us just as surely our fingers and hands are. We cannot part with them as they hold a little bit of our souls with them. The first is like a gift we cherish, the later ones we can more easily part with. Thank you again for sharing, it made my day!

Wow, this is incredible. The fact that it took 11 years shouldn't be seen as a negative at all, it goes to show how consistent, dedicated, determined, patient, as well as passionate you are for what you do. It definitely isn't easy to work on a project for a while and everyone gets tired of working on a project for so long, it's part of the process and is inevitable when going into a project that takes time. Seriously a great accomplishment and a amazing, priceless piece to show for it, congrats.

While I cannot stress enough how fabulous the house is (and all the little details), the most inspiring thing in this video is the 11 years. The fact that you came back to it, that you kept at it for so long. I'm terrible at finishing projects, and I often feel bad when I don't or when they take a lot slower than I'd like to (perfecting everything consumes time).

Start small - take several short breaks - I had a voice constantly criticizing me - often in art the work is a series of corrections. My Mother, God Bless her was born in the early 20th century, people back then used this and humiliation often to control and guide children. To over come this I used audio books to stop the negative talk. You can also use this to stop the lazy talk because if the book is great you will not want to stop.

Since I decided I was going to be a miniature maker in 2016, you have been an inspiration and a teacher in many occasions, one of my so called RUclips masters : ) And when I hear you talk about your journey with this project and emotional connection to it, I see myself reflected in your words. My first large project was a fairy garden that I started in the summer of 2019. It took me the rest of the year and it kind of consumed my life. It also became the focus of interest of my neighbors and my family, and of course I enjoyed sharing the photos and videos on Fb and Instagram. But what surprised me was how much I learned about myself making that little garden and how it really took on a life of its own, as if it became a magical stage for the drama of life, hahaha, for other creatures as well as humans. It was an amazing experience. My 2nd big project I started when I moved to a new place a year ago, it's a famous character's room, and I know that it is not finished yet and that it could easily take another year to be finished, because now it is refining itself in every corner. But again, it is an obsession and consumes my free time and my mind. I think we are lucky to love something (a hobby, if you want to call it that) so much. It's just an extension of who you are. Thank you for always being such an inspiration and for all I've learned from your creativity!

Its like renovating a vintage car, you finish the re-build/renovation but you are forever tinkering with it. You can add things that you 'want' to now, rather than feeling you 'have' to. Its a fabulous project and I hope you never sell it, there is sooo much of your life and so many memories worked into it. ❤

The columns with mirrors.. Amazing! It really did just add some extra space and look like there was more behind that curtain. Loved it! I can't wait to see Morticia's chair. I know that's going to be beautiful. I want to learn how to make stuff like that too.. heh I'm so excited for Beetlejuice to start also. Love love love that movie, and have always loved the house, and especially the miniature town. That's going to be fun. There's so much more, but I'd write a book if I went over everything I loved. Amazing job. Truly. I can't even imagine how proud you must be right now. I'm proud of you, and I don't even know you.. haha

Adams Family = good memories = me too! Funny story, my daughter was in grade school when The Adams Family Values came out. One of the Mothers was upset over the movie because she didn't understand why the Adams Family children were so mean at the
Thanksgiving Show. The whole school was sort of like that - clueless like on American Housewife but not as wealthy. Since this genre is so popular there are probably more people that feel they just do not fit in, art and craft is healing - this is a wonderful piece - I hope several museums will display it, thank you!

I specifically searched for haunted dollhouses and I am blown away; you definitely don't disappoint. I'm currently working on my own 1 18 scale haunted house. My kit was supposed to be "pretty" with a yellow outside, flowery wallpaper, and glamorous furniture. I look forward to destroying this idea and making it my own. Your ideas and self made techniques make my heart happy.

I can not believe I just found you at the end of this project! I have loved the addams family my entire life the show is my favorite! I've been binge watching this series for days now and I make notebooks by hand, binding, covers, and everything and I've learned such cool techniques from watching this series (weird i know). So I thought I would pass on some that I know that I thought would help😂. With the wood effects, like in the attic uncle festers room, I always find it easiest with crevices to paint the whole thing black or dark brown and then take a sponge brush to paint over the top so the lighter paint doesn't go into the crevices so theyre still dark. That way you don't have to individually paint all the lines and can just age the floor. I just can't imagine how long doing all the tiny details could be and thought that might help bigger things like floor boards go a little faster if you ever do something like that again 😂😂 I can't wait to see more of your projects!!!! 💜💜💜

It took you 11 years? Of course it did. You're an artist; you created a piece that should (and will surely be someday) be in a museum. Mean comments come from people who have never even held a brush in their hands for more than 10 minutes! Art needs time, and an artist's brain needs rest. It took Tolkien years to write his story, and no one questioned him. But he "only" needed a pen, paper, and his brain ;-) I was amazed and teared up when you told us all the family memories about building this house. Best wishes from Switzerland ♥
