An awesome video Chris 😁 kudos & props to you for going into such a level of detail in terms of your analysis/highlighting the positives and negatives of this camera. I will admit in regards to the 4K features for me personally I probably wouldn't utilize them on all that much.
I find it great that it has longer battery life then the sl2. The combo of the flip out/touch screen and dual autofocus is awesome too! Thanks for the sum up this vid is great!

I have a sl2 and an 80d, I have seen that the 90d has improved A LOT in high iso footage compared to my 80d. I assume it's because of the new processor. Am I wrong or does this sl3 use the same processor as the 90d? If that's the case, does the sl3 have the same high iso quality as the 90d? if that's the case, I may update my sl2 to the sl3 instead of upgrading my 80d to the 90d and save some money.
I can tell you I have great wifi and I never watch youtube videos in 4k. Especially if its a review video or a vlog. It is useless to record in 4k if your not creating cinema content weather thats a 5min short or 2hr long. Why? Because your audience isnt demanding it, pro's who record commercials don't even do this because the limitations of data cables of cable companies top off to handle 1080p. Understand Netflix upgrading to 4k is still pretty recent and most people don't know they're not even viewing the 4k content tho their watching content thats available in 4k. There's still large majority of RUclipsrs still viewing content in 480p like myself, so you'll be fine with 1080p.
that dual pixel af and a flip screen thats gonna help me in my fishing videos as l fish remote places with no humans! def need that new af so l can do my own videos, thanks for the info : )

The funny thing is videographers are jerking off about filming at 24 fps, when in fact its an outdated rule. The claims they make are "24fps is ultra smooth like the movies..." the reality is regardless what the movies are 24 fps will never be smoother that something greater than 24 fps because that's how it works. Think of stop animations and apply it. Now if you say 24p looks more cinematic, I can sit here and be silent and let you believe that. However do understand what you see in the movies are "Cine Cameras" not "DSLR", why does this matter? If you're a videographer who uses a DSLR that's fine but to achieve the same quality as the movies you'll want to bump up the fps (48-50) due to the limitation of the DSLR and simply render out lower(24-25). Filming at 24 fps on a DSLR will result in a jiggling effect of moving targets, or stationary target while the camera is in motion. Cine or cinema camera are built to record video (Meant to have the shutter opening and closing at a consistent rate for longer periods of time) so they don't really have this problem. My best recommendations are used your DSLR to continue vlogging but if your a true videographer or cinematographer the camera you have been craving is already on the market. The "Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera" is a full-on powerhouse of a cinema camera which is now used in the pro-industry and is only around $1.2k not bad for all you RUclipsrs who have this sort of cash laying around huh? When you do shoot at 24p on it then you can say things like "wow 24fps looks so cinematic..." but honestly ill still hate you...Well anywho just dropping knowledge.
Its mine first dslr and I'm very satisfied of it. Easy for use and beginner friendly. Videos are great. Stils also. I just change the kit lens with 50mm one Great, fast little camera.

This would be an amazing upgrade from our m50 and rebel T6
