The two major WOWs would be when she shot BTS of Gabriel cooking on her phone and requires no approval from her boss or client. Second would be during the fashion show and she could sit among the guest, hehe. But all in all, such a cute fun show.
Like any job, it just isn’t as glamorous as they make it out to be! I see movies and shows do this a lot with Event Planners too! Doesn’t mean it isn’t fun to watch! 🤩
I absolutely loved this show and think it’s so fascinating to see our jobs (SMM) being involved in TV shows, however it did make me doubt myself sometimes thinking that I was a failure for not achieving her unrealistic expectations. Had to remind myself it’s a TV show for entertainment purposes only! 🤣

I love this video/format! for me, a 19 year old girl who had the goal to have her own marketing agency one day and just started studying media and communication at Uni, this is a great, playful start into the marketing world :)) I do like your other videos too, but they are still too complicated for me (that is also because English is not my first language) lots of love 😘
Please make the video of Kat Edison from The Bold Type. For almost three seasons she was the Social Media head of Scarlet magazine and then she was doing podcasts and all. I'm eager for your take on those things. And thanks for these great marketing contents.
Honestly, loved the show but half of the time I forget she's even in marketing/social 😂 then when I did notice I was like hm...that's not it! Ngl, it does look super glamourous and easy, kinda jealous of that lol but you're right - it gives you something to think about re going out and "exploring". At the end of the day, it's not too bad and to my bf's point - if she were to schedule all the posts on her laptop, "regular" people might've not gotten that she was posting to social media in the first place!

I have watched the S1 of the said show and to be honest there are more fantasies than actual representation. The first season was a bit messy for me, although, loved the networking techniques and out-of-the-box ideas Em has now and then.

Kinda hate the show. As an advertising major, the way the show portrays marketing as being all about flighty, effortless, spur-of-the moment Instagram posts is annoying. Marketing requires research, data analysis, strategy, audience targeting... instead, the show portrays marketing as this glamorous thing where you can afford the most expensive ugly clothes you want while being lazy and clueless, as long as you know how to take pictures with your phone. Seriously, if this was what a job in the industry was really like, then I wouldn't be interested.
