    As a 76ers fan, I will stop watching 76ers basketball if Embiid gets traded. It was a pain in the neck watching this team play like garbage in the 2 months Embiid was out. Without Embiid we suck. People forget that Maxey scores a lot of his points either with a pick and role with Embiid or dumping it down to Embiid in the post, wait for a double team then catch the ball for 3.

    • @Smido83
      @Smido83 28 дней назад +4

      You forget one thing. IF they trade Embiid, they will get a lot of pieces back. Thats differet from not having a Max guy out there for nothing. Lets say they trade him to the Knicks (just an example) the Package will most likely be Robinson/Randle/McBride +5 1st (2 2024 1st from NY and DAL)... and your team would still have the cap space to sign some guys like Oubre/Melton back and bring in some other guys line Ty Jones/Martin/Saric/Kornet to round out the Rotation.
      Ty Jones/Maxey/Oubre/Randle/Robinson
      McBride/Melton/Martin/Saric/Kornet
      + 2 1st round rookies + 3 vet Min guys to round out the rotation.
      Thats still a good PO team, specially in the East! And you would still have more draft capital for future moves.
      I am not saying they should do it. I am just saying it wouldnt be nearly as bad as it was with him just being out.

    Just flat out, you're wrong about keeping Embiid. Embiid is a great regular season player. But every single post season we're making excuses because he is "injured" or "not at 100%". This is the same as Kawhi. At some point, availability and health become the most important stats. You say 'build around both of them', but why would Philly do that when Embiid is never available at 100% when it counts? That's like saying "build around the foundation" when half the foundation is falling in.
    The 76ers should trade Embiid, not just to trade him but as a calculated move to acquire another Tier A (or whatever you want to call the top tier) superstar. This should be someone that has a natural fit with Maxey. The remaining cap space would be enough to sign another superstar (if you believe in the Big Three idea) or sign a bunch of high quality roleplayers (my belief). The Sixers have tried the 'build around Embiid' thing for years and it has not worked. The reason? Because we are always making excuses about how Embiid isn't healthy/100% for the playoffs. At this point the two surest things in the NBA are that Kawhi will miss at least a third of the season and Joel Embiid will be hurt/hobbled for the playoffs.

    @jjcometa9333 28 дней назад +2

    To some people who are saying this is an easy fix. You gotta be kidding😂. New owner, new stadium but you wanna play nobodies?😂 whos gonna watch?
    Kawhi is still in contract. You got that going. PG got player option, do you trade him? He could just decline his PO if he doesnt want to get traded. By then youre fcked cause you have no choice but to sign him to his requested Max contract or let him walk -- getting back nothing.
    What about Harden and Westbrook? Do you sign both? Or just one of them? Do you commit to having these 4 again, paying them loads of money, paying loads of taxes. I mean new, rich owner might not mind. But rebuild is an absolute no.
    Do you do a soft rebuild and keep kawhi? Do you keep 2 and just retool. But thats kinda hard with no assets.

    • @noahmidkiff3605
      @noahmidkiff3605 27 дней назад

      honestly the clippers can't win with kawhi as the best player he hasn't played a full series since 2019...harden and paul george don't have the ability to carry anymore and westbrook is a role player now so I'd say full reset and rebuild. Deny westbrook and paul george a contract and trade kawhi and harden for younger pieces or really anything to free up the cap space.

    Joel Embiid has literally never once been healthy in his career, especially in the postseason. Nobody is saying to trade Embiid for a packet of peanuts but you could get a better return back who can actually stay on the floor. And who also hopefully does not have an extensive history of choking or falling woefully short in the playoffs. Embiid has literally never gotten past the second round, in the weaker conference. Has lost in series he's been favored in as well on top of all that. Embiid isn't all that young either and "the process" hasn't just been an experiment that has only been around for a few years.

Finding an MVP level big man is very rare these days and they really should try again with all the Harden dust now being shaken off. But if Embiid is constantly hurt there will be some "told you so" coming their way. They're doomed if they do and doomed if they don't if it doesn't work out. They now have their two stars which is perfect for today's team building. Now they need to get a deep roster around them two. We will see how they succeed in this.

    I´d trade Embiid asap. He spent too much time with Harden it seems. He´s constantly injured and doesn´t perform enough in the playoffs. On top of that he´s the first one to blame others (Knicks fans should not have made it to the arena) when sh*t goes wrong. He might never win a chip because of that attitute

    That sounds so stupid ! Who ever thinks that ! ...you get rid of a dominant center ...then u will need a center that most teams don't have ! .....makes know sense . ...I wish the Clippers had the 76ers center ! And they would be a fool ! To give slow ass James Harden a max deal ....let Paul George go ! And he should want to go ..to 76ers or Indiana ! ..both teams r better than a unhealthy Clippers team ...Clippers need to take there losses and try to find some young talent ..G league ..over seas look how ..SGA turned out ! .

    Dude is a diva and a perennial playoff choker. Every fking crucial game this guy chokes. Idk why teams ever wanna deal with his immaturity and diva personality just to get to the playoffs and watch him choke away games.
    Foul merchant, bad teammate, terrible display of professionalism.

    Oh lord… the sixers fan victim complex is STRONG in this one. People criticize Joel for valid reasons, especially when his MAIN issue (injury) is largely his fault from a career of throwing himself on the ground 15 times a game. It’s not us “looking for any reason to slander him” yall sixers fans gotta get over yourselves

    76ers finally getting off Harris and got mad cap space with now 2 legit stars (Max/Embid) ... you put a legit 3rd scorer/playmaker on that team they gonna be TOUGH.
    Pry Bridges from the Nets is my angle, fukk paying a declining Paul George all that money, would cripple the franchise ceiling just like Harris's overpay.

    The CAVS look straight up bad in these playoffs...credit to Orlando's heart an energy, but talentwise the Cavs should've wrapped this one up in 5, especially with them basically picking the Magic as their 1st round opponent.
    CAVS are a confused team with an overreliance on Mitchell, who hinders the development of Garland. Also trade Allen or Mobley...get a big that can actually shoot!

      @@Rayven2711 Mobley and DG’s lack of improvement has to do with coaching. DG is 24 and Mobley is only 22. Give them time to develop. Hindsight is 20/20 but Cleverly we should have never traded for Mitchell. He doesn’t fit our timeline

    • @Rayven2711

      @@JJGray21 Agreed on the Mitchell trade, that ultimately put a cap on the development of young players, especially taking the ball out of their hands late in games.
      Luckily the cavy still have the option to move him in the offseason and get decent value back for him.
      I agree that the cavs young guns need more time to polish their games but I'm still not sold on Allan and Mobley playing big minutes together. I believe that Mobley is better suited to play the 5 long term, being switchable on D and having a floor spacing 4 accomplementing him. I'd also like Mobley getting more touches in the paint. Allan is a great energy big with good rim protection, but he will never be more than he curretly is. Mobley potentially could develop his offense, both low post- and outside to be the guy at center...maybe I'm wrong but Mobley and Allan have overlapping qualities that ultimately don't benefit the cavs as much as they could.
