The Swoon all are my favourite drama, but The King Eternal Monarch is the best so far because it another leveled up of Kim Eun Sook writing. Some people might not like it because it is so different from other kdrama, but it’s a brilliant masterpiece. It is much appreciated by international views even Anna Todd loves it.

The King Eternal Monarch is the most ambitious and most mindblowing research ever done by her. TKEM is a stellar sci-fi drama that wow me everytime.
But not well executed unfortunately, like when the king wear korean joseon king outfit with european/western crown, the sunset and sea cgi, and the love progression is too fast in my opinion.

@@scorpioteez233 Nah, the king outfit with Silla's crown it's still correct since Kingdom of Corea is a mix of Silla and Joseon era (manpasikjeok is Silla's artefact).
The love progression isn't too fast at all if people pay attention to the timeline. Remember time flow is different in "1 and 0 world". 1 hour there = 2 days real time. Most people didn't notice when Lee Gon left Tae Eul (or whenever he used the portal to cross over), he didn't just left her for 1-2 days, but for weeks.

@@scorpioteez233 i found that all KES' loveline always work so fast. you can find the couple always have the first kiss on early stage like on 4th or 6th episode and it's gonna get stronger and stronger till half of series comes and shaking them
Everything she wrote is a masterpiece, it's all beautifully made and detailed, the story is just so amazing in every aspect and there's no one who can do that beside Kim Eun-sook, She can make us giggle while crying and cry while giggling and that happened all the time. That's it, that's the fact.

The King: Eternal Monarch is the most complicated and unpredictable story. I wonder how she wrote that. She must take long time for arranging the plot and building the characters. And also I love the poems she included in the drama. So peotic and heart-touching.

A lot are frustrated of its sad ending but it actually goes well with the whole drama plot. The symbolism of the three male lead and how they protected aeshin(who symbolizes korea) each their own way (dongmae = sword, eugene = gun, huiseong = pen and camera) just so she remain standing at the very end has a lot of sense

I enjoy all of KES's dramas. But Goblin still the best for me 'til now. I remember after Goblin end, I found there's no K-drama as spectacular as Goblin. I lost my interest to K-drama and I found it amusing 'coz I'm K-drama freak. And now I'm hook to The King Eternal Monarch. I never used my brain as much as I watch The King. Same! It took me a year to watch another Kdrama after watching Goblin. It raised the standard of kdrama so high that I couldn’t finish any drama whenever I start one. In 2018, I’ve watched Moon Lovers, that’s the first time I watched a kdrama that I enjoyed again. I’m hooked to TKEM right now. That’s the power of KES. ❤️

I still can't move on from Mr. Sunshine and probably never will. It's such a great masterpiece Kim Eun Sook writer ever done, the best k-drama all the time. Every single things in this drama is really on point, the story, cast, settings, property, etc. It's such a shame that this drama didn't get caught international attention and become the underrated k-drama, gladly the korean audience won't sleep on this masterpiece. IT'S REALLY WORTH TO WATCH MR. SUNSHINE, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

As someone who watched all of her drama since lovers in paris, gentleman's dignity, secret garden and more. I could say that Mr sunshine was her best work. All of the drama that she made, mr sunshine was the only that has true sense tbh. Its not just any love story but it tackles more about patriotism. There was no acting hole cause all of them was really good in acting. Best cinematography, plot and lines. Too bad a lot of intl viewers drop it because of lee byunghun. I was hesistant to watch it first because of him but now i realized why kim eunsook was firm to cast him as the male lead.

Mr. Sunshine is by far the best korean drama I have ever seen. The cinematography cannot be matched and the chemistry between the leads is insane. The romance with such little contact is something I have rarely seen.

I have watched all writer KES drama except Mr. Sunshine and so far TKEM is my fave, I know it had been forshadowed that it may have "different ending to our liking" but still this drama for me is the best from leads, supporting casts to plot, twists and cinematography.
I also just realized that both LMH and KGE had worked with writer KES as main leads to her drama twice, which I think an enough proof that these artists are definitely the best.
The king Eternal Monarch - this is the most intelligent and engaging storyline drama ever. All the many mathematical and scientific theories of Lee Gon are very accurate. All their dialogues, even the comedic ones always have an extended meaning, you can’t take anything for granted in TKEM , your eyes must permanently be on your screen absorbing everything, that’s why most people’s brain are more active when watching this drama, plus the most beautiful natural romance story with a strong female lead told with no cliques.
It is just excellent.
Goblin and Mr sunshine are the next best ones. Descendants of the sun and secret garden are like regular kdrama that are very good to watch.

For me Mr. Sunshine is best of the best of all (even for kdrama I know so far); then I must put Goblin and The King: Eternal Monarch in second place, both of the drama stole my heart with difference charms but in a same way, I love both of it; then I love Gentleman's Dignity and Secret Garden... And in the last line The Heirs and Descendants of The Sun, these two drama have similar vibe for me, I really love the story about supporting cast and second lead couple but really didn't fit with the first lead couple romance,...
But overall, I love every Kim Eunsook's works 💙💙💙

I like every single piece of her work, but for The King... I just addicted to it, I watch it over and over, but still found details I missed before. All the lines are so meticulously written, and her choice of LMH and KGE is the best part of all. Their chemistry just melts my heart, now hopefully writer Kim gives them a happy ending for us! I only watched Goblin, Mr Sunshine and TKEM. 3 different stories but I love her writing and the dialogues and adding literature to it makes the scenes more poetic and theatrical. TKEM though had me really into it because of the way she inculcate art,music,math,science,literature and politics with romance,friendship,family,career and being just a citizen of a kingdom or a republic. Such a genius mind. She also choose well with her leads as if she wrote the story them in mind. Amazing writer. I would live to read a novel book by her.

For me, mr sunshine is the truly masterpiece. The storyline make you cant move on till today. I like all of them. But mr sunshine have show me that they dont need kissing scene or any passionate romance scene to show their love and sacrifice towards each other. In fact, the story is realistic based on the historical event that happen in korea before. This is the best kdrama ive been watch, the cinematography, storyline, cast, the ost and so many more that i cant describe why im so in love into it. Though the drama not highly known like goblin or dots. But still, it is the best for me. No doubt every single of her work is masterpiece. But mr sunshine just show me some best side of historical drama and through it ive just study a lot about korean history such as about righteous army or what really happen in korea in 1900. For those who doest watch it yet. Please watch it. Fyi, my brother also cried and cant move on from watch it. So no doubt its good.

I got into korean dramas because of Secret Garden. I researched about the Actors, Director and even the Writer. Since then I look forward to Writernim KES dramas. I really like when she puts me into an emotional roller coaster, one moment your laughing, giggling and next thing u know you're uncontrollably crying. I also like when she makes me feel anxious about the next ep. and makes me think and used small details to signify what's coming next. How ironic most fantasy dramas have happy endings contrary to writernim's dramas have bittersweet endings. Thanks to her, korean dramas come alive because of her amazing writing.👏👏👏👏
For me, TKEM is the most awesome drama she wrote. It's very deep and detail oriented and her poetry here is just like in romeo and juliet. I know most people don't understand coz I feel like their expectations are just like in Goblin. For some who's not into literature u might not get the message coz ur too focus on the acting not with the lines. TKEM raises the standard of korean dramas that's just like a netflix/HBO series that u never know what to expect and u end up theorizing what's the ending.

I watched Goblin, Mr Sunshine and TKEM only. I love these 3 of all her works because of the leads. It’s like she writes this stories with these leads in mind because the characters they portrayed are just perfect for them. I also love her dialogues on these dramas very poetic and theatrical. Although each one is different and excellent I love TKEM the most because of the storyline. It is inculcated with romance, humor, art,science,math,politics,literature,love,family, friendship,career,history and just being a good citizen of country or Kingdom. It’s a story that is unpredictable and interesting to watch. It’s a complete package of all the genres rolled into this drama TKEM plus the exuding natural chemistry of the two leads is just perfect for me. It is actually my number 1 or top Kdrama I watched for all time.

Mr. Sunshine is the most superior when it comes to her drama tbh. From the storyline to cast, acting, ang production. One of the best kdrama ever created.

Everyone who watched Mr Sunshine will most likely choose it to be the best. The superior drama, 24 episodes are definitely worth it
based from my observation, some people only watch kdramas if they know the actor/actress or if they're attractive. as for mr. sunshine, most of the cast were underrated. i tried to persuade my cousin into watching “mr. sunshine” but she said she doesn't want to because the male lead was ugly. can you believe it?! and honestly, LBH isn't even ugly. yes he's old but he definitely isn't ugly.

Some of my favorite kdrama don't have 'pretty actors' as leads and everytime I recommend them to someone, they don't even watch it and instead watch other drama with good looking leads. Though, there's nothing wrong with that, I just think it's a waste hahaha.
For Lee Byung Hun, his biggest asset is his acting and that's more than enough.
Goblin is a legend, but currently I am too obsessed with The King Eternal Monarch!

@@winabradley4381 I too had problems with that in the beginning because I thought that the main actor was too old and I kept tha drama aside for along time. And then I realized that he is a veteran korean actor. I guarantee you once you start watching it you wont be bothered by it! So far the best drama I've watched and I doubt anything will be able to take over that.Its too great to be a kdrama!
Mister Sunshine actor Lee Byung Hun kind of turned me off at the beginning too because the age gap is pretty intense. But Kim Tae Ri who plays the female lead is incredible and they have very convincing chemistry together. I was rooting for them by like ep3 or so

Kim Eun Sook's works are the most powerful, expensive, most memorable and masterpiece
For me the most easiest storyline of Kim Eun Sook dramas are Secret Garden, The Heirs and Descendent Of The Sun. But still these dramas were also very exciting to watch as she put a lot of memorable yet exciting scenes for the viewers.
As for Mr Sunshine, Goblin and The King Eternal Monarch, these dramas are very impactful to me until now. Mr Sunshine had a sad ending, however the plots was arrange beautifully along the sad storyline. Goblin had leave me in quite bombastic feeling where the cinematography, storyline and perfect chemistry from all actors and actress. It was really funny, sad and beautiful at the same time. This is epic fantasy drama from her. The last one is The King where it mesmerize me for each scene beautifully. This is the masterpiece of her where most of people around the world thinking like crazy about the theories inside the drama. But the most impactful thing for me about The King is when it's teaching you what is the real meaning of fate. For the first time a drama had made me think that each of human have their own fate that choose them. So it is our choice either to embrace our fate or not. And the actor and the actress chemistry is superb in here. Honestly I have fall in love very deeply with Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun deep love
Kim Eun Sook is indeed a one in million writer who have excellent brain cells and imaginations.
As for Mr. Sunshine, the story teach us about the real meaning about "if we want something, we have to fight and pray for it". Fight for love ones, fight for family, women fight through norm and rules, men fight through social caste, fight for country.

writer Kim Eun Sook's works are all masterpieces with written thoroughly as well as how they visualized her works. Her dialogues/lines is one of the strongest from her works which differentiates it from other scripwriters in kdrama. it makes you swoon-worthy sometimes cringey (yet you always remember it), laugh, cry, warm, memorable, so poetic. I love her works a lot and she is really deserves with her title as the renowned scriptwriter in kdrama field 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💖
