Great fish. We went to the keys and caught them for days and NEVER caught one love 15. Yours are unbelievable at that depth of water. Congrats!
It really is a very rare catch is that depth and so close to Miami. We have caught some nice flags before but in deep water reefs and out at Rebecca Shoal close to Dry Tortugas.
I will be visiting this spot again!

I live in Key Largo if you ever need overnight dockage and a “safe place” on ice to keep those yellowtail monsters.

Was this closer to Miami or Key Largo? How many feet more or less in depth? Great work finding those flags!
Not sure if when you are saying Miami you mean dade county or downtown area. This was south dade. I can’t remember exactly but it was around 55-58ft.
I can’t remember if I showed the sonar in that video. I’m working on another video edit in that same spot now where I do show it. I went back with my son. That video should be live Monday after next.
