I feel you my guy, although i was amazed by the fact that i got it from my first try without watching guides, and that bcuz i thought there is a TNT crate(old trick in crash bandicoot serious) instead of a jump boost crates so i did a spin around it very carefully.
The hidden box that was out of view towards the end when you get the spinning mask was the one that kept crushing me. Just that one box, I wouldn’t have know that was one there if it wasn’t for you.

0:40 if getting the box in air is too difficult, you can jump on the first lilypad and over to the box, then wait for the second one to come up again. bit safer

I have no clue what I’m doing wrong but by the time Your at 62 I’m at 61 and I’ve went through your tutorial multiple times and can’t find the box I’m missing
Calm down, try and memorize everything practice the sections u r not good at and repeat its frustrating at first but u will get it done in a few attempts just focus and stay calm
@Spookyibio I got the insanely perfect run in jetboeard jetty took me a few attempts. It's just long with color gem path and a final boss at the end. But if u keep ur masks all the way it's easy
@Spookyibio bro you were complaining about the game being hard lol. If you think that level is hard then I got news for you. The game gets harder the next world is a lot tougher than that Japanese world I can promise you that.
The weird bounce like the ones at 5:15 were to cause of so many of my deaths in these stages. Seriously, why does it sometimes kill the lions and sometimes catapult you off the stage? Anyway, thanks so much for these videos. So much of this game sucks
Fun Fact: Turns out that ghost hovering around before the first grapple point isn’t a problem, making contact while traveling will cause you to break right through him.

What is baffling me, I got them all in the regular mode, but I seem to be missing one box in Nverted. It's the exact same level!! What am I missing.
1:41 Tawna for some reason will NOT hook onto that and I always die trying to reach it because it doesn't register and it's so annoying.
You have to point the stick forward, otherwise she will not do it even if the r2 prompt is on screen
Whoever hates Tawna's dialogue should BURN IN HELL

The game is really hard but you're wrong. This is their best crash bandicoot game to date. You just have to practice all steps to win it all.

If you hit the lions from the front you'll get launched, but if you hit them from behind you'll defeat them
