So good I done it a second time. I played through first time on PS4 second time on ps5 was so much fun. Lots quicker what a game I hope they make crash 5. That crash 4 trophy comes with bragging rights.
Going for the platinum for this game has made every youtuber I've watched do it go insane. Congratulations for getting it.

My tip for anyone attempting to get the perfectionist trophy: only do one or two levels a day, if it takes a long time to beat a level take breaks. This will significantly reduce the amount of frustration you'll have to endure and you'll still get the trophy (it'll just take a little longer)
Honestly I don't really agree with this the more attempts you do the more familiar you become with the level and the better you do. Taking a break will cause you to forget important things in the level which will likely lead to stupid mistakes which makes you even more frustrated. I found it best to just sit down and grind out the level in one go.
I really should have do this method but now I‘ve got my relic in cortex castle and I‘m happy😅😂

That’s how I have gotten to 102 percent. 49-52 trophies down. I need 3 trophies now. Time trials all platinum, 106 ending and I get the platinum. I wanted to walk away many times but day by day I stuck with it. I want that platinum trophy.

18:35 an advice for beginners: before trying to get the perfect relic in any level, complete a normal run breaking all the crates and see if you missed any. There are a lot of hidden crates in this game and managin to get to the end of a level without dying only to find out you missed a crate is terrible.
That insanely perfect trophy only being silver is a slap in the face.
“U want a gold trophy for all ur suffering? Fuck you.” Is the exact translation of that
I thought the perfect relics were easy and found the plat relics hard.
More like a nuke to the face
The developers do a lot of that in this game.

Collecting the blue gem was an important milestone for me in the game. It was the moment where you realize how much of a struggle the rest of the game will be to complete 106 %
When you had that one box missing, oh my god I felt your pain. Also, this video has made me regret ever starting this game, I had no idea what it took to platinum Crash Bandicoot 4 lol

Blind hype is what carried me through as a completionist. I was too deep in the rabbit hole to return back so my younger self pushed on.

I also did it. Took me more than 100 hours. What helped me was my attitude. When your goal is to become better at this game and not to beat it you don’t rage much and really appreciate small progress

The crazy part is that this used to be even harder because your hitbox in the riding sections was comically small, making is really, really easy to miss boxes. Like in the part at 15:42, he would have missed at least one of those boxes if he had been doing this at the launch of the game. The load times for the levels also were significantly longer, making each reset of a level a punch in the gut.
I only recently found out that they nerfed it. Makes me kind of proud to get the plat back then, ngl.
But still, it shouldn't have been so hard in the first place, so I'm glad they did that.

Love the video! I highly recommend to anyone doing this platinum to do the platinum relic, perfect relic and then nverted gem for each level in order. The platinum teaches you how to play the level, which will be really helpful for the perfect relic. Good luck!!

I'm on 31 out of 38 perfect relics. This video is a good distraction from the horror of a level that is Crash Landed. Your face when you missed a high up box in the last polar bear section in Bears Repeating hahaha.
I felt every pain you showed on this video. I 106%ed it at launch a couple years back and it was even WORSE. PS5 wasn't out yet, so when you restarted a level, the loading screen took what felt like 30 seconds. Even worse is the polar bear/Shnurgle riding segments had not fixed the hitboxes yet. So you have to be dang precise on hitting 2x2 crate stacks or you missed at least one and forfeited the perfect relic for that run. It was so insane.
Oh man just the loading screens alone would be the worst haha. I feel your pain
I won’t lie, this video got me pumped up to play this game. Definitely thought it would be a good game for the PS5 I finally got a while back. So far I completed the story, but I did at least do all the bonus levels, but still need to get all the gems and relics. However, even without those, I thought the bonus levels were pretty challenging on their own. Even if dying in a bonus level doesn’t count, that doesn’t change trying to get all the crates in the bonus levels are difficult on their own. I think even the Cortex levels are interesting, but can also be challenging especially because he can’t do a double jump.
This game is amazing and absolutely worth playing!
congrats dude this is a tough one. i didnt mind going for the n sanely perfect relics but the platinum relics is where i found the difficulty this plat. especially on toxic tunnels, that level can piss off lol

First time viewer. Congrats on the plat. I personally find the Crash 4 is super difficult statement that I hear from time to time to be a stretch. I can totally agree that some specific levels and design choices can be defined as nightmare + beating specific times just by the notion it's easy to get anxiety. Best possible approach is to casually spend a few hours to make slow and steady progress before getting burned out. I can't imagine a new Crash project without clever hidden gems or the no hit boxes runs,flashbacks etc. I feel iverted game filters kinda hit the game especially their awesome artstyle for the majority of times but overall I believe Crash 4 was a huge step towards a good direction.
Oh yea don't get me wrong I hope the next game is just as challenging. I love the challenge. I actually had a lot of fun with this Plat (it may not seem like it 😂) Thanks for watching 🙌🏻

Props, dude, I did the Crash 1 Platinum, and the coloured gems where you can't die were brutal, but I feel like 4 is a different beast entirely. I'm considering trying it, though.

It's actually INSANE, if you know what I mean. Once I thought I could platinum all the 4 Crashes, but than I realized it would be too much for my head. Lol. Crash is really, really a difficult game and every time I think "Should I Play it Again?", I watch a video like yours. Nice video, and WELL DONE! Crash is By far, one of the most difficult game ever made. Congrats!

Truly loved watching someone else suffer. I played the game to almost platinum with my old ps4 that had a really vad case of inputlag... After getting all n.sanely perfect relics and golden time relics and the flashbacktape levels I had had enough. Until almost a year later i bought a ps5 and noticed the lag was gone. I tried the first level and completed the platinum time in a few tries. So began my journey toward the platinum trophy and loved/hated every moment. Truly a brilliant game with a perfect ammount of challenge without it being unfair, you just gotta get good. Great video! Brought back a lot of fond memories of the 85 hours i spent on it thanks to that god damn lag 😂👍
As much as this Platinum destroyed me mentally and my fingers physically, I still have fond memories haha

This is insane what have you done here. When I was younger I was also mastering some games, I remember completing celestial weapons in FFX on PS2.... And this one sick mini game which took about 20h of my life...

Crash Bandicoot (to me) is one of those games where it looks easy when watching RUclipsrs playing it, but when you play it, it is REALLY herd
I'm currently going for the platinum and have just the inverse gems and time trials left to do. It's very very hard, but I'm hoping with the platinum relics out of the way, the hardest part it is behind me.
I love how your shirt changes with the level cuts. This must have taken so much time, but I'm so happy you got that box checked! Pretty sure you won't be touching this game again for ages.
It took me almost 2 weeks in between work to finish this haha. As soon as I was done I uninstalled the game 😂

I finished this one back in April of 2021. I have to say, I had way more trouble with getting all the time trials than I did Perfectionist. Either way, a very rough one to do, but I have great memories of playing this game. You do have to be Nsane to attempt the 106% but if you love a challenge, this game is for you, and it’s such a solid game.

Really nice one - I play games only for enjoyment. THere are few games that I wanted platinum (mainly on PS Vita, RIP) but overall I dont want to stress myself over something that requires grind. The hardest trophies for me were in AC Oddysey - platinum was quie easy but one ot the trophies in DLCs requires me basically to change my control scheme so my muscle memory gave me quite a headache, and second platinum was a must for me - over 600 hours spent in Hitman 3 so I had to get it.
Crash Bandicot is fine example why I abandoned arcade games long time and I apologize to all funs of arcade games but having time limit or some other constraint on me is not my cup of tea (and dont take me wrong when I came across so time limits in Hitman 3 I just skipp them or use "Rambo" style - kill everyone in my way).
Definitely play what you like that's what gamings all about! People enjoy different things and that's what's great about it

I am a Crash Bandicoot pro and l’ve completed the trilogy (both classic and N.Sane) so many times! I platinumed this game since last Friday and it was really hard but when I got the N Sane Perfect Relics and colored gemsout of the way on my first play through, it wasn’t too bad for me. All this game focuses on is patience, momentum, and flow.
I salute you! Haha this game really is just all mental. You just gotta push through the really hard parts

Done this a few years ago, and it was torture, the stress it caused was crazy ha. And im a very seasoned crash bandicoot player, and people say its a kids game. Im sure its like only 0.13% of xbox users who have unlocked all achievements. Felt so good to finally do it though

Having all platinum trophies of crash inluding this one I can really understand you. They are pure torture, time comsuming and lot of swearing on my end. However my hardest plat part was when I trying to get storm ascent relic, that one took a total of 14 hours on just that level, barely stopping for breaks.

Off screen boxes, levels 20 minutes long, having to play them at least 4 times to get everything thanks to the n-versed versions, the idiotic triple spin method to get relics that gave me carpal tunnel... """best way possible""", yeah...
100 percent runs for me were fairly simple but the time trials pissed me off some of the levels are not designed for rushing and it's just luck if you can get a platinum relic.
Feel like you did the time trials a disservice here, they were so difficult for some of them! I found them harder than the N Sanely perfect relics for sure
They were definitely a challenge for me the insanely perfects were the real road blocks but it's different for everyone
another annoying thing about perfect relics: you have to restart the level each time and with each time... loading time

This game made me rage like crazy toxic tunnels one of the most annoying levels I’ve ever played, I literally haven’t touched my playstaion for almost a month after i got the platinum it’s so difficult.

Yo congrats on getting the plat for this game ! I immediately uninstalled after I was done I probably have some sort of crash Bandicoot PTSD haha. I definitely missed that hidden box. At that point it was like 3 am and I was dead tired and I think I rushed right past it. Thank you for the kind words and the follow! 18:43 I think the most aggravated I got at a game was going for the CoD World at War platinum years past it’s launch, I did it legit as most do it with mods now. I was stuck on the levels Blowtorch and Corkscrew and Heart of the Reich for a combined time of 3 days (unlimited spawning enemies up until a certain part and playing dodgeball with grenades cuz the spam is actually dumb). It was the first time I broke a controller 😂 but I got it done
I remember the first Crash for Ps1 and that thing use to piss me off big time. I tip my hat to you sir cause I know how these games can be.

I did everything except the platinum relics. I got about 12 of them and can honestly say that doing them is less tedious than anything else in the game. Mainly because you don't have to replay the same level again after already completing it. You just get the platinum relic, and move on to the next level.
Yeah, Toys for Bob went too overboard with all the collectibles...
But some people even took this further by getting all the Purple dev relics too which goes beyond the Platinum ones...
Yea I commend whoever got the dev relics because my fingers were already hurting spamming square lol
