When I think about the output of a work alone and how it is perceived, and not how it was created, who created it, whether it was human, animal, natural occurance through water or wind, or AI ... I find there are far greater similarities than differences. I view AI art more as a an area that is based in mathematical logic, and in that context it may be beautiful, classy, thought-provoking, striking, profound, and many other things that human works of art may also be, including garbage.
A.I art is super interesting and I enjoy toying around with it. I don't think it will ever be a replacement for a real artist and I know some artists feel very strongly about using it. I feel like as long as you use your own models with your own art and not stolen from others then it's just another tool just like Photoshop. Just like those tools I think as a society we will figure this all out just like the digital art when it started getting popular back in the day.
