This is Episode #1 in this new Assassins series and we will hear what this girl has to say for herself. Police say Marqia Hamilton along with her cousin Jahria Shield shot and killed Eloy Lebrón near Anderson Street and Jernigan Avenue on July 23, 2020. Update on this Case: she got out on a 25k bail shortly after this.. got some traffic tickets ect between then and 2023… in 2023 she finally had her trial and was tried as a youth.. She was found guilty and ordered to serve 5 years and pay $8000 in restitution… very easy sentence for a murderer just because she’s a juvenile…

The female detective was the one who initially mentioned being a sniper to the suspect to which the suspect vaguely agreed. Fast forward into the interrogation, the female detective asks "I thought you wanted to be a sniper," after the suspect denied shooting their victim. That was classless and an example of why remaining silent is best until your lawyer is present.

That's why I realized after watching so many videos on here you can never trust a cop. Even cops tell other cops when they arrest them "don't say anything until you have a lawyer" the first thing you hear them say to a fellow officer "is are you ok?" Then the next thing is "don't speak to anyone and don't say anything until you're lawyer gets there" and it's on so many videos. But when it's a citizen being arrested it's the opposite they want you to talk almost by any means necessary.

Her first mistake is to let them hold that long with out being placed under arrest you have the right not to talk to the police
They can hold her for 72 hours without "making an arrest". I've seen suspects get released at the 71 hr 58 min mark, get tailed for a day and get arrested because they either go back by the scene of the crime or try to relocate the weapon that they dumped.

This just isn’t true. Kids today are more intelligent than previous generations. Technological advancement will do that. It’s those same advancements that lead you to believe “kids these days are doomed grrrrr”. You just have access to infinitely more information, because of the internet. You think things are getting worse, but in reality, you just see more bad things. Crime and high school dropout rates peaked in the early 90s, and steadily declined well into the 2000s. There have been years with slight upticks, but nowhere near 80s and 90s levels. Does this mean there are no problems? Of course not. Lack of educational opportunities for poor minority populations, institutional biases, and funding mismanagement, just to name a few, are still massive issues. Student debt is worse than it’s ever been, and inflation is going bananas. But the whole “kids these days” narrative is bogus, based on bad information and cognitive bias.

Having someone sitting in a room for hours is insane. Arrest them, start the interrogation, and either book them or let them go. Leaving people alone for hours in a locked room for mental manipulation is insane. To know that they're just sitting in another room watching them until they think they may be "ready to talk" is c razy. These tactics are why some interrogations can't be used in court. They get so caught up in making them wait or wearing them down that they forget to do things themselves once they've entered the room.

As a person that is in a wheelchair 90 percent of their life, and I am alone 90 percent of my life and very often in a very small room, I find her behaviour at the beginning of this very humorous. Her demanding to be spoken to first, her demanding to sit in a different location in the room. Her explaining to them about how to do their job was capital entertainment. If she is guilty of something and convicted she is going to have to change her expectation or live a very angry miserable life.

It was a brilliant tactic to just put her in there for a few hours, and sit back, watch her bring herself to the point of cracking. Shes very easy to read. Shes not going to do well in prison if shes going berserk this quickly in this room.
This generation that we are in has been warped. Some people are addicted to continous stimulation (cell phones), and have been rendered incapable of relying upon self, just "being."

Everyone is considered innocent unless/until proven guilty in a court of law. Unfortunately, occasionally, even someone who did not commit the crime they are accused of are sometimes found guilty and convicted. That must be a total nightmare for those people.
I stand corrected regarding this case: "alleged." Thank you. Though, my observations and opinion regarding the other still stand. It occasionally applies to myself as well.
