When I'm making rosaries, the one-step looper and bent nose pliers are a real game-changer. It really reduces my labor cost per rosary and I pass that savings on to my customers.
When I use the long nose pliers with teeth, I scratch the metal. I just get smooth long nose pliers that grip well. I'm shocked to see some of my go-tos on the hate list. 😅
If you don't use your bent nose pliers, you should, give them a try you may change your mind about them them. They will get around corners when wrapping wire so much easier as well as other awkward things you may get into.
Thank you so much for sharing that!!! I really appreciate it!!!❤️
I have to admit my opinion has changed on a couple of the tools after making this video. Hahaha 🤣
Thanks for another great video. I may add, whatever you buy, get a high quality tool, generally not what they have at most of the larger craft stores. They will last longer and cutters won't get dull as fast as the cheapo ones. May God continue to bless you also!!
Ohhh good point. Thank you for sharing!!!
Agree with most except the pliers with teeth/ridges. I mar the wire when I use them.
It is so fun watching your videos. You just radiate good vibes.
❤❤❤❤❤ this video. The prayer session topped it off💯. God in everything 👏👏👏
Awww thank you very much. 🥰
Thanks for doing this video. I was going crazy trying to find the right tools .
My pleasure. It can feel over whelming. Glad I was able to help a little bit!!!
You know, I was DYING to get that one step looper for the longest time. Like, every day that I didn’t have it was causing me physical pain, but I couldn’t really afford it. My daughter gave me one for Christmas last year, and I immediately hated it. I made a linked necklace with it, and several links opened up 😐. I’ll stick with my handmade wrapped loops. 😉
Love your advice!
❤️❤️❤️
Love your videos
Awww 🥰 Thank you so much
nice vid. Just started making jewelry, and looking for any info. This was great.
Thank you so much for your encouraging comment. So glad to help!!!
Thanks for your thoughts!
Recently started doing more jewelry making (I work mostly in wire, metals, stones, etc.) and so far I have been grateful for my regular sized heavy duty wire cutters (I already had a pair in my luthier tool kit and use them for my guitars) as well as a nylon coated flat nosed pliers for unkinking wire. If using wire at all, these two tools are worth having and can be used in many ways.
On the other end of the spectrum, I have a mini set (actually might have two but not sure where the other one is if I still have them) are a set consisting of cutters, round nose, and flat regular pliers. While I am glad I have them for now, I find the mini size are much harder to work with, believe it not, especially if I am doing something really small. Might sound counterintuitive, but it's true!
I would like to get all full sized.
Hi today is April 28th 2023. I just found your side and I agree with you about the green xur'on pliers I am a beader with thread and occasional other things and I love the green handled pliers I grabbed them all the time😊
Hello hello!!!! Oh very nice. That is so great to hear!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
💙💚🖤 So glad you made this video! I just saw your video about the one row memory wire and saw how easy you cut it!😱 Now I need to go find me some electricians wire cutters. Thank you!🙏
They are the best. I can’t recommend them enough!!!! You are so welcome! ❤️
This is great! I do love the one step looper, however the down side is sometimes it doesn't cut the wire, it'll bend it instead. But, the 1.5 mm 1 step looper I still love because it has saved my wrist countless hours of agitating the arthritis in my wrists. I do agree you still have to take extra steps with pushing the loops together with the long nose pliers. Great tutorial though!!
Oh wow thank you for sharing your experience. That is really good to know. And now I will recommend the tool who have pain in their hands or wrist. Thank you for taking the time to share your honest experience.
Have a wonderful day!!!
@@DezyJewelry you too!!
❤️❤️❤️
@@DezyJewelry girl I just liked your page on fb. I'm under Jen Jen! Love your stuff!
Dess also look at nail clipping cutters but get the more expensive types better quality steel
I am glad to know about the looper tool, I had been eyeing that one but I haven't taken the plunge yet. The teeth on a plier for me is a no because it mars the wire.
Oh good. Glad I could help there.
Yes totally. At the time of this video I just used wire to string my beads not the kind you wire wrap. So wire wrap those pliers would not work but to string beads they help me pull the 0.3 or 0.45 wire that I use. Does that make sense?
I use my ceimping pliers alot, because of their narrow tip; my bent-nose and long nose pliers are among my go-tos when sitting down to make something. And lrts not forget diamond files and other finishing tools!!
Oh nice!!! Thank you so much for sharing!
I know this is off the subject of tools, but do you have a tutorial on the necklace that you are wearing in this video?.. I simply love it ! ❤
Yes!!! Yes I do 😁
Now I use completely different beads in the video but same exact technique

This was good. I just returned a set of tools that out of 8, 4 didnt even work. That's what im doing now, looking for tools that really work for the beading projects i do. Get real tools like that wire cutter think thats what I'm going to do. Just get tools that'll work cut and do the job it's suppose to. Thank you
I downloaded your book the other night! I'm about to embark on a week long road trip so hopefully I can persuade myself into reading
Oh Emily have a wonderful trip!!! Haha I have to persuade myself at times to read as well. I’ll be praying you get some time to be able to read. 😁❤️
Thank you! 😁
Amen!
Blessings from a sister in Australia!!
Hello hello. Blessings to You down under!!! ❤️❤️❤️
As far as I am concerned most of the Crimpers stink but I really like the Magical Crimpers, they are great.
Ohhhh good to know!!!!!!
Hello! Thank you for this! Question! If you use pliers with the griping threads, how do you keep from making marks/indentions on the o rings and loops?
So I wish I would have clarified this in the video. I need the gripping threads for my necklace wires. Like my 0.3mm & 0.45mm
But if I do thicker wire to wire wrap then I need pliers without thread. If that makes any sense.
Yep pretty much on spot
I think I would have looked up the names of all the tools before making the video. I've been making jewelry for just as long and don't always remember the name of the tools I'm using. Did you show a crimp tube crimper tool? I have always used that tool. I use the back divot to smash the wires with the crimp tube. They must not overlap. Then the next divot is used to smash the crimp tube in half . The next is for a crimp tube cover. Is that the tool you showed? Also, I was told never to use pliers that have teeth. I'm trying to find a product that you dip tools in so as not to mark the wire. Thank you for the information! 🙂
Need names of tools please
What are those lime colored ones? Can you demo? I meant the ones that you said press 2 wires together.
Oh I will put it on my list of videos I want to do. Thank you for asking me!!!!
Dess for your cutters look at Klein , Gedore , C K and other quality cutters ( look at Lingstrom they do very expensive cutters for circuit board work but are not cheap )cutters are made from cheap steel which blunts easily you need something called tool steel I'am from the Uk I have 4 sets of cutters and 1 cable sheers cheapest was £28 to £45 you pay for what you get and I have more pilers than you lol
Hi how are you doing I just subscribed to your channel

How do we request the offer of your free book?
Because of your comment I set up a slot of time for my book to be free for everyone. So from April 12-16th you can get my ebook for free on amazon.
I’d like to know the brands of those you like.
Giving God the honor & glory was a bonus❤
I believe if you look in the description of the video I have links to each of the tools I talked about in this video. Check it out and let me know if you find them
@@DezyJewelry ok thank you. I kept pausing & zooming in🤦🏼♀️
@decemberbaby9549 I would have done the same thing 😆😆😆
The reason those cutters get dull so fast is the cheap metal craftsman is using in their new stuff that’s made in china. Buy an old American made set of craftsman cutters and they’ll stay sharp.
Wonderful. Thank you so much
teeth on pliers as a jewler?why would you say that?why are you disrecpecting jewelry making world?
🤣🤣🤣 because I got to be me. Like it or not: I like me and I like jewelry. If you don’t like this video I would highly recommend NOT watching my other videos. They will annoy the crap out of you. 🤭😘❤️
@@DezyJewelry no i enjoyed your video i didnt say i dont like the video
