  • Ever since she was a little girl, Jess Cassebohm knew that she wanted to be a Qantas pilot like her father. Now with over 30 years’ flying experience between them, Jess has made flying a family tradition.

    Good on you Jess, do you ever give Second thoughts about the Ground Engineer's who have Maintained those Jumbos to the Highest World Standards and Kept you Safe in the Sky, have now being Retrenched and our positions Outsourced.

      I wish they kept their retirement til 2023. That was the original plan

      @@loganferguson7637 Yea they pushed forward to 2020 due to rising oil prices and a drop in the 787 purchase price

    I don't get how they have 3 decades of experience between them. It'd be more than that. Qantas has operated the 747 for 50 years and the dad and the daughter were around for the start and finish of the aircraft.

      I think she meant her dad was part of Qantas when the 400 was introduced in 1989. That would add up to a little over 3 decades of experience between them.

    If Jess wants to work on the 747 until they retire, why is she doing a walk around of a a380 wing? Maybe she got lost in her thoughts...
