FREIGHT & PASSENGER Trains at North Crewe Junction - British Rail

This week Schony747 features trains from North Crewe Junction in England. The box closed in 1985 and now is a static display with working levers that forms a part of the Crewe Heritage Centre which show cases Crewe's railway history. The new power box that controls trains is nearby. The former signal box has a panoramic viewing platform that allows you to see trains rolling past from all directions including the West Coast Main Line, The Manchester Branch and the line to Holyhead and Wales. You can literally spend hours up there watching trains. This was a bank holiday Monday so the trains were not as frequent but there was still some good trains to be seen.
