actions indirectly.
with this in mind, read between the lines on what that last admin said and did. the purpose of those rules is to make sure people don't ruin other people's fun, so if some idiot blows himself up with a grenade outside of a raid and no one else was caught in the blast(which it looks like no one was) the admin should have let him off with a warning at most. he also said openly that he hated youtubers who think minging is funny, which gives said hate as a likely motivation for this.

@@democrack113 the thing is he didn't do anything wrong, he used a grenade in his own base, and he had a kos sign( granted it was small but it's still there). Being insanely strict on rules ruins the creativity of garry's mod roleplay servers/servers in general. I'm fine with rules being there as guidelines to watch out but barely crossing/breaching it too the point it's both not breaking and breaking shouldn't be punished but warned if anything. Plus what jameski was doing wasn't hurting anyone and in my opinion brought in more fun for the people partaking in it and isn't that the point of games to have fun.
Edit: cheating and having fun creatively is complete separate things. Cheating ruins it for everyone while having creatively can be fun for everyone depending on how it is executed.

And I don't know the guy or the rules of the server, but really? A grenade in his own base. I hardly see the crime. And I find it funny how the more screwed up an admins character is, the more chill they are. At least I'm my experience.
Either way, it's harmless fun. Like, the aftereffects of the video could have caused mass flooding of that server with lots of troublemakers. And we are watching it from Jameskii's view. So take whatever happened on screen with a grain of salt.
I still don't agree with banning people for throwing a grenade in their own base, considering the fact that the name and sacrifices were far more messed up. Not only that, but there was a kos on the sign. Barely legible, but it was there.
And as for the guy here who may or may not be the admin in question, you ain't earning brownie points with anyone saying StFu like a child. I can understand why you did it, but hindsight dies say that you should act of a polite manner, and state the facts, and how it went down according to you. StFu just digs you a deeper hole.

I used to be a mod on a purge RP server for a couple years and, unless explicitly stated in the rules, that mod/admin has no authority to tell you what you can and can't do within the confines of your own building.

Most gmod rp server admins are some of the most fun hating people on the entire planet. I've seen servers where they will pretty much let somebody ruin your entire experience so it is impossible to do literally anything yet if you make the tiniest infraction they flip out.
This is why people harass admins, because of people like that at the end. Must be soooo fun in parties.
