To be honest the Legit should be second or first, there music mix is so good. I dont agree about the 1, 2 place watching it. It feel like Im living in the pass there music mix was alright but watching Royal family and Legit makes me wanna dance

FYI, they made this huge changes in just 3 days. Shout out to all the dancers out there, we know how hard it is to be perfect sync like that in such short time. They have passions for dancing and nothing to regret. They've just became my inspiration.... And I think this perf should be at least in top 3.
This was an entertaining and a bomb ass set! Even though they may not have placed but the love, energy and dedication was definitely on display here. I'm proud of you guys. I could see all the hard work you all put in and I value you guys for always trying and mixing things up! ✨

I absolutely adore the royal family but in the past many have complained how it was rigged because RF won right? So now they’re complaining because RF didn’t win? Lol I don’t get it? Can’t have it both ways? I’ve read in the comments some people who say they don’t even really support RF but think they should’ve won. I love them like I said and I think it’s amazing and almost inhuman to change your set like that so many times but sometimes you’re taking a chance by changing it instead of just cleaning up what you have. And this time that chance didn’t pan out. I wasn’t impressed. Although amazing I didn’t get wowed. I’ve seen better from them. I didn’t get goose bumps as I have before. Nirmala Prabhakaran Kana Boon got a 0.60 deduction in prelims. 0.50 of that deduction was for not being in formation in the beginning of the performance within 30 seconds. Their biggest deduction was not even performance-related. Without that deduction Kana-Boon! is way ahead of the competition.

They killed their final stage, no doubt but I wish they could step up even more and get out of too much dance hall in their sets. I miss the RF 2013, they were so untouchable back then.
HHI had rules that says a winning crew demonstated or created a movement that is theirs alone. And definitely in this routine, RF displayed so much movements that are very original to their style. The visuals and highlights in this routine is impeccable. Still sad that they didn't placed.
Also why does everyome run to the "they're to good for HHI anyway" or "that's okay they're more famous than any other crew here" lines anytime they don't place?If they're too good,why compete anyway?They're better off as a tour or special performance group.And Parris is better off snagging celebrity gigs.Competitions just aren't digging them anymore,their fanbase will still be fine so they're better off taking advantage of that.Hell,they should do more TV competitions.
Every year they have new set of dancers on RF. It's all about showcasing what they got more than the competition. Theyre one of the most established crews in the world and they've really nothing to prove. It's a competition and mot everyone likes their style, almost 90% of the HHI audience are waiting for RF's entry each year, so basically theyre one of the reasons why HHI is getting more popular.

Of course. Who would go to HHI spend a lot and wont even get a bronze medal. It's still a top priority; to get the crown back. But more than that, they have a lot of fans that basically waits for them every year in the HHI stage and a lot of people who looks up to them and has changed a lot in the dance community. Changing sets is a huge risk that the team CHOOSES to take. They're not forced to. Sometimes it doesn't work in their favor and that's no one's fault but theirs. Look at legit status. They used the same set for prelims and semis, but just cleaned it. Jumped two places. Shows that different ain't necessarily better.

After some time to think, I realized that the top 3 also delivered a lot in terms of skill and performance and their places are justified. RF in 4th doesn't mean they're bad, but the top 3 simply did better this time. As I said, anything van happen in a dance competition. No one is unbeatable.
I'm a fan, but I think it's not their best set. Well, this set was performed really well, but i think their 2015 set is still better. BBHMM set really changed the game. I can kinda see why they placed 4th. Why would they use trap trap music again?

I think this is a really telling comment and possibly what works against the crew .That attention to detail for what they do can’t be helped due to their success but the same energy is not kept for all the other crews Who I feel are very repetitive as well .Some times your reputation works against you .i still believe they should leave this comp in the past or alternatively allow some of the younger choreographers to lead and take a team over and see if what they bring will be what the judges want to see .
The entertainment factor is there but it loses its appeal fast. Considering their Nationals set brought back the hype, the wow factor is lost because we've already seen it. Love their energy, drive and precision in their dancing tho. Major respect to bring a newer set on the last day. Still remember their 2015 set. Gamechanger in megacrew division.

Anyways when king Kiel ditched them they stopped winning. His style wins medals. Parris just recycles moves. They should’ve switched it up from nationals.

PARRIS GOEBEL'S creativity is too much to handle for these judges, take your 4th place and stick it! RF you are the real winners. Literally changed nearly the whole set and still killed it, now that shows true passion and love for dance! So inspirational to all who follow yall x
God just look up the criteria for judging. There are so many factors that come into play. The judges did their job well and the winners deserved it. Changing their set mid competition is a risk. Sometimes just cleaning the same set works wonders. Look at legit status. Same set but cleaner, jumped from 4th to 2nd in semis. The other teams also showed immense amounts of passion. Don't tell me they didn't just cause their sets remained mostly the same. In fact, if kana boon can consistently get first in all rounds (if they didn't get -0.60 for a technical error they would've been way ahead of everyone), then doesn't that speak of how good their set already is from the start?

Overhyped and overrated. Just accept the fact that RF can do only shows now and lets be honest here they are outdated and repetitive with those basic moves. They cant compete anymore and will never won on HHI competition again. They should stop going back to HHI. Their style is not good anymore in todays competition. It looks like judges are looking for difficulty and skills nowadays. They change 3 times because their style is basic only one element, anytime u can change with their style, like they just grouping around using their hands. They have no combibation on their movement. No movement, no continuity, they pause alot and no transistion whatsoever. Look at kanaboon and legit status. In 10-15 seconds for example, they have continuous steppings and movement of their dance in 15 secs or more, thats high skills out there and you can see on the scoresheet. RF have way low on skillset. Ladocta in 5th place has higher score on skills than RF. Rf only has high scores on performance where it's acceptable because they look precise on stage but this is hiphop where skills is also needed. Not just an ordinary move. You know this if you're truly a hiphop dancer.
It's sorta funny to me, thinking that the Performance side of the score card is what The Royal Family excels at even in their sleep. And seeing as the "vibe" is kinda like an underlying factor to that part of the scoring, I was sorta lost with what they wanna give off with this final version of their routine. It's like they wanna insist on switching back and forth between sexy and dangerous while never really managing to marry both into each other - they basically never fully achieved dangerously sexy, which, IMHO, is quintessential RF. That seems, to me, what costed them a spot in the podium, compared to everyone else on there that had their own uniqur versions of street presence down on lock... and clear.

For me it was just perfect, all 3 sets. But I was waiting the kendrick part in every one.
They killed their final stage, no doubt but I wish they could step up even more and get out of too much dance hall in their sets. I miss the RF 2013, they were so untouchable back then.

HHI had rules that says a winning crew demonstated or created a movement that is theirs alone. And definitely in this routine, RF displayed so much movements that are very original to their style. The visuals and highlights in this routine is impeccable. Still sad that they didn't placed.

Also why does everyome run to the "they're to good for HHI anyway" or "that's okay they're more famous than any other crew here" lines anytime they don't place?If they're too good,why compete anyway?They're better off as a tour or special performance group.And Parris is better off snagging celebrity gigs.Competitions just aren't digging them anymore,their fanbase will still be fine so they're better off taking advantage of that.Hell,they should do more TV competitions.
Every year they have new set of dancers on RF. It's all about showcasing what they got more than the competition. Theyre one of the most established crews in the world and they've really nothing to prove. It's a competition and mot everyone likes their style, almost 90% of the HHI audience are waiting for RF's entry each year, so basically theyre one of the reasons why HHI is getting more popular.

Of course. Who would go to HHI spend a lot and wont even get a bronze medal. It's still a top priority; to get the crown back. But more than that, they have a lot of fans that basically waits for them every year in the HHI stage and a lot of people who looks up to them and has changed a lot in the dance community. I know theyre kinda rude at times but we are looking at the level of their skills here, I mean they have their own style, some may say theyre over rated but they still fucking slay.

Changing sets is a huge risk that the team CHOOSES to take. They're not forced to. Sometimes it doesn't work in their favor and that's no one's fault but theirs. Look at legit status. They used the same set for prelims and semis, but just cleaned it. Jumped two places. Shows that different ain't necessarily better.

It's true, they never fail to entertain and all their hhi sets this year are amazing. I myself was surprised they didn't place at first. After some time to think, I realized that the top 3 also delivered a lot in terms of skill and performance and their places are justified. RF in 4th doesn't mean they're bad, but the top 3 simply did better this time. As I said, anything van happen in a dance competition. No one is unbeatable.
I'm a fan, but I think it's not their best set. Well, this set was performed really well, but i think their 2015 set is still better. BBHMM set really changed the game. I can kinda see why they placed 4th. Why would they use trap trap music again?
But still they are fucking nuts to change 3 times for this set. They worked their ass off. Kudos to RF 👑

I think this is a really telling comment and possibly what works against the crew .That attention to detail for what they do can’t be helped due to their success but the same energy is not kept for all the other crews Who I feel are very repetitive as well .Some times your reputation works against you .i still believe they should leave this comp in the past or alternatively allow some of the younger choreographers to lead and take a team over and see if what they bring will be what the judges want to see .

The entertainment factor is there but it loses its appeal fast. Considering their Nationals set brought back the hype, the wow factor is lost because we've already seen it. Love their energy, drive and precision in their dancing tho. Major respect to bring a newer set on the last day. Still remember their 2015 set. Gamechanger in megacrew division.

Loved it! No other crew WOW'S me the way Royal Family does! To be honest they are in a league of their own, how can these judges even try and judge such a different style of hip hop?? PARRIS GOEBEL'S creativity is too much to handle for these judges, take your 4th place and stick it! RF you are the real winners. Literally changed nearly the whole set and still killed it, now that shows true passion and love for dance! So inspirational to all who follow yall x
God just look up the criteria for judging. There are so many factors that come into play. The judges did their job well and the winners deserved it.
Changing their set mid competition is a risk. Sometimes just cleaning the same set works wonders. Look at legit status. Same set but cleaner, jumped from 4th to 2nd in semis.
The other teams also showed immense amounts of passion. Don't tell me they didn't just cause their sets remained mostly the same.
In fact, if kana boon can consistently get first in all rounds (if they didn't get -0.60 for a technical error they would've been way ahead of everyone), then doesn't that speak of how good their set already is from the start?

Overhyped and overrated. Just accept the fact that RF can do only shows now and lets be honest here they are outdated and repetitive with those basic moves. They cant compete anymore and will never won on HHI competition again. They should stop going back to HHI. Their style is not good anymore in todays competition. It looks like judges are looking for difficulty and skills nowadays. They change 3 times because their style is basic only one element, anytime u can change with their style, like they just grouping around using their hands. They have no combibation on their movement. No movement, no continuity, they pause alot and no transistion whatsoever. Look at kanaboon and legit status. In 10-15 seconds for example, they have continuous steppings and movement of their dance in 15 secs or more, thats high skills out there and you can see on the scoresheet. RF have way low on skillset. Ladocta in 5th place has higher score on skills than RF. Rf only has high scores on performance where it's acceptable because they look precise on stage but this is hiphop where skills is also needed. Not just an ordinary move. You know this if you're truly a hiphop dancer.

It's sorta funny to me, thinking that the Performance side of the score card is what The Royal Family excels at even in their sleep. And seeing as the "vibe" is kinda like an underlying factor to that part of the scoring, I was sorta lost with what they wanna give off with this final version of their routine. It's like they wanna insist on switching back and forth between sexy and dangerous while never really managing to marry both into each other - they basically never fully achieved dangerously sexy, which, IMHO, is quintessential RF. That seems, to me, what costed them a spot in the podium, compared to everyone else on there that had their own uniqur versions of street presence down on lock... and clear.
