I think it’s because he doesn’t care about smaller tournaments just the grand slams now, not making excuses but AO he was run down with flu, fair play to sinner he deserved to win semi, French open was looking very good until the meniscus issue. What is amazing is Novak's continued drive to play and compete. When I competed as an athlete, I also did not want to miss a game. When it happens there is an intense feeling of disappointment. But, what is remarkable about Novak is that after over twenty-five years competing at the highest level he still has that fire that makes him not want to miss a match. Kudos to Nole. We love him. There has been no better champion.
