I just bought a silver metalic 2024 rav4 XSE hybrid, no complaints. I love how it drives, even though for some people, the driving is a little stiff but I don't mind, for my taste it runs good.
I sure agree with having the wiper come out from under the rear spoiler. In Canada they put on black chrome exhaust tips, and dont put the AWD emblems on the back doors on the XSE. Also mud guards are standard up here. Nice review, thanks much.
All my life I wanted a Rav4 Hybrid. This year I finally bought a brand new 2023 and I love the hybrid mileage, the ground clearance and the 4 wheel drive. I was so in love that I totally ignored all the drastic design flaws. The roof is two inches too low. I am 5'10" and I bang my head every time I get in and out and what's even worse is the serious visibility flaws. When I look 30 degrees to the right the rear view mirror is directly in front of my face. If I want to look 30 degrees to the right I have to duck my head down to see underneath the rear view mirror. The center console is three inches too wide on both sides. It digs into my right knee making it painful to my knee cap to keep my foot on the accelerator pedal. I’m thinking about gluing on some padding to ease this problem. My wife also complains about leg discomfort on her side. The side pillars are so wide that I absolutely cannot see oncoming cars at intersections of less than ninety degrees. I feel like this is going to kill me one day. The headrest is so stupidly designed that I sometimes feel like it is forcing my head down. After four months of constantly banging my head, serious visibility problems, the most uncomfortable seating of any car and the loudest road and wind noise I have ever owned I am now sorry that I ever bought a RAV4 at all. Plus I heard of a new class action law suit because the moon roof drains are short circuiting the air bags which it claims Toyota knew about but failed to fix which the customer must now pay to fix and there is other talk about a power cable corrosion that may cost up to $6K to fix. After four months of living with this car I'm now sorry I ever bought a RAV4.
Really? Wow, that’s not good at all. I’ve read that the Honda CRV has a lot of head room & legroom. I’m leaning towards taking one out for a test drive.
I've had softex and it doesnt last. It tears and cracks. No way I'd spend that unless it were leather. In fact I don't need all the bells & whistles, I'd go for cloth.
Nice review. Very informative. I have a Corolla hybrid on the way. It’s scheduled to be here December 31. Do you know how delarships are doing with meeting eta deadlines.? I was hoping to receive the vehicle just before the holidays since I have a feeling things maybe delayed due to holidays thanks.
I like the look of the gloss black. But I don't think that's gonna be that pretty in the long run. It's not going to be that durable from rock chips and bug guts
This video is done poorly. The sub-categories are not always in sync with the sub-titles and the vocal sound level in the test drive sub-category is quite weak.
Toyota is discriminating against a large portion of public by not offering this package (two tone paint and black wheels, etc.) on the gas only model. They need to be called out for this!
Can’t wait to see what the 2025 new generation will look like

One of the best selling SUV in NA Fact: .Those who can't afford it will not like it.😎

I bought a 2024 hybrid three months ago. The best gas mileage that I got is 33 highway and 30 miles in the city driving conservatively.

I'm 6'4" and didn't notice a problem when I test drove one yesterday. I was actually impressed with the headroom. Probably going back to buy it
6:18 I thought the RAV4 hybrids were made in Japan and the regular gas engine ones in Ontario Canada.

That's interesting, I wonder if climate effects this? I'm in Canada and find the Softex wears much better than real leather.
2019 XSE RAV4 Hybrid owner until accident in November- no issues what-so-ever with the softex.
Dated old stock.
Redesign shipping 2024 ✅
Old? It’s only from 2019, with several refreshes. Lol.

What year is it? 🙈
@@billyrock8305 it’s only 5 years bro. That’s not old. Haha. I mean…my 08 sequoia is the same as the 2022. That’s old. 😂

Thanks! Thank you for watching. I’d say it’s 50/50 that the car arrives by the 31st.
Does it have automatic folding side mirrors when parked? Or a way to turn on the feature?
No automatic side folding mirrors. Only manual folding ones. Toyota keeps those features for Lexus.
I have a 2020 Toyota CHR and it has automatic folding windows when car is turned off.
How about the fuel tank issue?
Your went 59 MPH on a 35 MPH residential street.
Great suv. Got one on order .just have to wait.
Best of luck. Thanks for watching.
Not smart to put gloss back on areas of body subject to getting beet up from road debris.
No pano roof????
It is an option, you have to pay extra for. The one I test drove in Illinois.

No thanks the cost of them they never pay for themselves and the battery replacement is astronomical
you get 150k miles/10 years for the battery. This is a hybrid not a 100% fully battery electric vehicle
All the extras are a ripoff except for the Homelink.

86% of toyota sales on the rav4 is hybrid mind you lol
Overall, not a vehicle I would even consider. Just don't like the exterior or the interior. Thanks for the review, Mike.
