You're right on the black plastic. Toyota should be doing color match on that black plastic. That would probably give the upscale look that the Limited trim level should have
I have ordered the Limited model recently and I also wondered why the matte finish wheel wells vs. the gloss black finish, yet I still look forward to this new ride. I love the wheels! I have a 2024 RAV4 XLE, ut a=gas a different gauge cluster, I love it. I went from a 2008 RAV4 v6 sport to the 2024, my old RAV reached EOL it would have been too expensive to get the head gasket replaced, I had over 260,000 miles on it
It seems that the video screen on the interior has the newer Toyota Corolla Cross platform and not of the last year in 2023 when it had buttons on the right and left side to select the different functions. Is that new screen easier or harder to use than the 2023?
I just bought a Toyota RAV4-Hybrid 2024, limited. (15 miles on it) and had a problem as soon as I left the dealer. The specific issue pertains to the inability to connect Apple CarPlay to my vehicle, whether through WiFi or a wired connection. Upon experiencing this problem, I promptly brought my vehicle to the dealership from which I made the purchase, hoping for a swift resolution. However, the service manager informed me that this is a known issue affecting many vehicles of this model and year. To my dismay, I was further informed that even after consulting with technicians and specialists from Toyota, they are unable to provide a solution. I was advised to await a recall from Toyota, with no indication of when such action might occur. I am wondering if anyone is having this same problem. If yes, then how to fix it. I contacted Toyota and is awaiting its response.
reason for the plastic fender flares and skirts is so that it won't scratch up when you pick up rocks while driving. gloss black would scratch up like a mf whereas the non-painted plastic won't scratch at all.
I wish you could pick the plastic, I wouldn't want the glossy plastic. I live on a gravel road and it would be terribly scratched up in a day or two. I've got the gas version of the limited (2022) and love it. I'm leasing and updated from a 2019 XLE Premium, and they screwed up the auto brights. Now you have to hit the damn button in a terrible location to turn off the brights if it doesn't "see" cross traffic or turn off early enough, where before you had to be in bright mode to have auto brights work, and to turn off auto brights and brights in general, you simply put it in low beam. Now the auto-brights will only work in low beam. Absolutely stupid. The new method in rural areas makes the auto bright feature worthless, in fact probably less safe because you have reach for the button to turn the brights off.
That might vary from country to country as the RAV4 is only available here in New Zealand as a Hybrid. Interestingly the spec on the “Limited” is slightly different here as well, not in a bad way but slightly different .😀
i test drove this car and it was questionable but i don't know if its normal for hybrids since i had never drove one before. can someone let me know if the gas rav4 feels the same? when i drove this, it felt so rough. It felt like i was driving an old car and the seats were super uncomfortable too but i LOVED all the materials they used inside it looked easy to clean and minimal.
Check if dealer where you test drove had deflated the tires from 50 (shipped pressure) bs suggested 35-38. Car feels rough when tire pressure left at 50 by dealer, it’s not intended Tobe there. I bought one and ride changed DRASTICALLY after I adjusted PSI.
DANGEROUS TIRE NOTICE: My 2024 Canadian built Rav4 Gas (not sure what tires the hybrids come with in any given geographical area) Limiteds came with Toyo Open Country A39 tires. Get them off your Rav4 immediately. They came with my Limited and I suspect the XLE premium also comes with them. First time on highway travelling at 84 kilometres per hour in rain with only about 2mm or less than 1/8” of rain the in very shallow tire ruts on asphalt caused the rav4 to hydroplane. I have never hydroplaned in 42 years of driving. I felt the vehicle having trouble (resistance) in 2mm of rain standing the the tire ruts beginning at about 64 kilometres per hour but did not hydroplane until 84 kms/hour. Called and left message with Toyo customer service and again with Mark at Technical when I didn’t hear back from customer service. No response from Toyo at all. I have been buying Toyo winter tires but I will not any longer. The warranty of any tires is only as good as their customer service. If no one responds, then the warranty is useless. I will buy Continentals from now on as once I did contact Continental on an issue almost two years ago, they took care of the issue immediately and sent new tires to my installer. For our 2 Rav4s, after much research, I ordered Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 and will have them mounted this week at my Ontario Canada Toyota dealership.
I will never buy a Hybrid or EV, they are worthless carp. And to ask that kind of money for a 4 cylinder...no way! And no more accessories than that....good grief.

Honestly, I’m grateful it’s not glossy black on the sides, it gets scratched easier and tends to look dirtier.

Multiple kicks actually confuses the liftgate sensor. One kick is all you need. A second kick will pause/reverse the liftgate motion.

This limited model should have color match trim. Thats my only zonk lol… edit: keep the trims the same in the back though. Side trims get color match
