I liked that no matter the odds, Vegeta would fight no matter what. Incredible heart. He was also a strategist, but often his ego overshadowed his judgement.

Saiyan and namek sagas was straight raw the ki attacks looked way more destructive, and they use hand to hand combat constantly and using ki attacks as a special move rather than a basic movie. To me once super saiyan was treated as something basic to where kids can get it, that's when the super saiyan bargain sell started. In the Android saga it was done right, buu saga started the bargain sell.
Oh this brings me back. Vegeta was such a beast in the saiyan/namek saga. Those days riding the bicycle as fast I could to catch the next episode after school.

Honestly, considering the attack doesn’t have a name, I don’t see a reason for it NOT to just be the Final Flash. Also, “inspired” in Dragon Ball just means “Toriyama remembered that was a thing he did and used something similar”.
