Usually Jesus looks at other people during his solo, but it's clear the bassist here is equally proficient on his instrument, that he could look up and copy a theme Jesus just played, without missing a finger. How do you even get that good at your instrument???
How can you not enjoy both. Jacob is a brilliant musician with an idea of stretching the boundaries. Jesus is a fantastic piano player and sax player as well as other instruments and an inspiration to new kids like Justin Lee Schultz. They are all admirable, seem like super pleasant people off stage and are not really needing to be one versus the other. Once you get as good as those type of musicians the correct response is bring it all on. They are so far beyond the mundane top 40 stuff and as such shouldn’t be consumed as thumbs up for one and down for the other. It seems odd once you’re at that talent level haha.

Even trolling them isn’t really funny. It’s like saying Tom Brady is incompetent or ice cream isn’t a popular dessert. It sounds strange ha. Like saying boiling water isn’t hot. It is observably false to millions of people. But, if you feel powerful by dismissing them, I suppose it is fine. Your screen name seems suited for it ha.

Also waving your degree in the air means absolutely nothing, the most incompetent musicians are those that rely on the awful education present globally, it's just a degree so that you can land a job with a gullible employer.
