    What if you have no one able to be your medical proxy? I have no relatives who are practicing Catholics of any sort, not even novus ordo. I had four people at one time, but they’ve all died in the past five years. I get to Mass only once every six weeks due to circumstances out of my control. There’s nobody I know well enough to ask. I have one traditional friend left, but she’s 1,000 miles away and has so many responsibilities and health issues of her own, that she cannot do the job. I’m very much alone in my older age.
    I’m also in the situation where I have no means for a Catholic funeral and burial. I couldn’t be buried where I attend Mass as it’s in another country. What if you fall into the hands of the state? Is it a sin to be buried in the “Potter’s Field?”

      I had the same question. No one to be a True Catholic medical power. Should Catholics be embalmed? N. O. Catholic cemetaries you have to pay big money and be registered with thier parish.

      I’m in a similar situation. I’m a convert and only Catholic in my father. I’m from Japan where even Catholics must be cremated by law. Everyone in my family has been cremated and buried in a Buddhist temple. I have no children or anyone . I’m indigent even if I work 2 jobs and cannot afford a lawyer for POA or will.

    I do have arrangements that equate to the Medical Power of Attorney here in Britain. All drawn up properly and with relevant people appointed. My family circumstances are such that I need this arrangement. My experience of hospital when I had a stroke was pretty dire. The blessing I received was after three weeks I was admitted to another hospital and the first person whom I met was a Religious Sister. Sister was a nurse and she always discovered the patients who were Catholics and arranged for them to see a Priest and receive the services they needed. I do believe that it is very important to consider what should be done and make provision for that.

    There is a catholic Oxford biology PhD, Dr. Rômulo Carleial, that speaks regarding human evolution. See the publication "Origins Revisited: On the Recognition of Rationality and the Antiquity of the Human Race". He has a yt channel (mainly for Portuguese speakers) where he greatly explains basically how we did not came from monkeys, but all of the species were created by God.

    It is more than sad to me that the poor sinners who see Our Lord at the end of their lives then realize they rejected Him. This pushes me to pray all the more for their conversions. Can you please pull out this segment and make a small video for people? This is important information.

    Thank you Thomas for bringing up the the argument of one’s conscience telling them they can’t vote for either candidate or party. Couple that with the one thinking it’s all staged anyway then ones conscience is really concerned at the thought of voting for these evil people and parties. When you throw in that we might be in the times of the antichrist and that the world is setting up for that then that just adds more weariness or opposition to voting. God bless Fr., Thomas and all of What Catholics Believe

      Consider that the lesser of evils appointed many good judges who are pro-life and balanced. And if your conscience bothers you, remember that your involvement can make a difference. This is the challenging path, the one that can shape the future. So, which party will you choose that will at least listen to your view? Your choice matters.
      You see, we do not have the option right now NOT to be involved, not until the country is fully controlled by communists. Then we must go under, but we still have a chance to fight.
      Which way will lead to fewer abortions? Just not voting or voting and pushing?
      When thinking of the antichrist, I would have thought back to the Crusades, when the Mohammedans were taking over many Western countries; that was the time of the antichrist.
      There have been many dark times in our world-that's the point-and they're challenging to discern. We pray for the Rosary, Our Lady's intervention, and our politicians because God's hand is on everyone! He directs everything.

      @@MrsCalabresesTeachingChannelYes. I feel no vote is a vote for evil. Even if one side is sorely lacking, the other is evil personified. One tolerates some evil, the other celebrates it and persecuted those who won't. I made up my mind a few years ago to pray especially for the conversion of sinners daily. If the worst ones can be co created, so many more will follow. While it's sad that we cannot have a candidate that we can get behind 100%, I think we need to vote for the one who will do the least harm.

      @@AS-yz2iz Agreed. We have the right to vote. Currently, we can cast our vote, and then we can fight. Prayer for conversion is important, and when we can voice our opinion, we must not remain silent.

    So the different races, black, Asian, Indian etc are defects from white? It seems to me like they aren’t the same race but a subspecies the same way that a wolf, dog and coyote can reproduce but shouldn’t. This is the same for the human species. We know clearly that blacks and whites have many differences from skulls to skeletal structures and we certainly know they don’t think the same. One is far more primal in their nature. I’d like to know what the church says regarding miscegenation and whether it’s sinful for one to mix their race and degrade their genetics by mixing it with another sub species.

    • @AS-yz2iz
      @AS-yz2iz 25 дней назад +1

      The Spaniards married the native American Indians when they settled in America. The Church never objected to that. St. Martin de Porres was of mixed race. I don't think the Church ever considered him part of a "sub species".

    • @AveChristusRex88
      @AveChristusRex88 25 дней назад

      @@AS-yz2iz and that’s the question does the church have an opinion on race mixing, we see clearly today it’s been pushed more than ever that Europeans and Africans mix and a lot of that has resulted in the European people becoming closer and closer to extinction.
      Does the church have anything it’s said in defense of ones race or ethnicity. Should different cultures and peoples remain with their own. Or is the eradication of one’s homeland acceptable.

    • @AS-yz2iz
      @AS-yz2iz 25 дней назад

      @@AveChristusRex88 I'm not sure why it would matter. I think you're referring more to culture. If we all came from the same race, and what we see now are mere variations, why would it matter if those differences become less apparent? If the Church didn't say anything for the first 1900+ years of its existence, I'd assume that the Church has no problem with interracial marriage.

    • @AveChristusRex88
      @AveChristusRex88 25 дней назад

      @@AS-yz2iz we also didn’t see it at the extreme amount it is now. For the past 1900 years people have mostly remained within their own ethnic groups. As the world becomes more global and as Jewish power increases they continue to push mass migration and the miscegenation occurring today. There a reason for this they know Europeans have been the main defenders of the Catholic religion. As that group of people disappear so does the faith in society.

    • @AS-yz2iz
      @AS-yz2iz 24 дня назад

      @@AveChristusRex88 Again, I don't see the problem as a race problem, but a religion and culture problem. The Mass migration is a problem, because the cultures are not assimilating, and also people of different religions are marrying Catholics/Christians and eroding the culture and values. But, if it were simply other Catholics, no matter what their race, then it wouldn't matter. Japanese Catholics remained faithful to their religion despite being deprived of priests for centuries. To say that their race is somehow beneath other races is demeaning. Also, the first "race" created was probably closer to, or in actuality was, the Jewish race than Caucasian and The Caucasian race came along later, so does that make it sub par?
