Always satisfying work when it's done yourself, plus you can verify everything is buttoned up correctly versus just hoping it is as you drive down the road! Also, anytime you do brake service work you should always check, clean and regrease your caliper pins, after thousands of miles the boots will dry out and crack causing the pins to stick and get hung up with debris instead of sliding freely as they should, this will cause premature pad/rotor wear, ask me how I know ;)
