Information entered into a cell is understood either as a text entry, a value or a formula
1) Use F2 to EDIT data in a cell
2) Text entries or labels can contain any combination of letters, numbers and spaces.
3) Numbers and text are treated differently. The default alignment for text is left whereas for numbers, it is right.

Another simple way is to use the right arrow. However, you can press SHIFT+RIGHT Arrow to select multiple cells on the right.
