As a Metalhead with a very basic understanding of Music at most, i heard "Frigid Dominance Scale"..lol... and was like holy shit that sounds awesome, is that like a reference to some chord progression by Immortal or something (made me think of Grim and Frostbitten kingdoms). I proceeed to google to find out more. Top result is a wikipedia article called "Phrygian Dominant Scale" Wait wat..... Start reading through it then facepalm followed by a real good chuckle. 🤣
The song featuring the singer from Trivium is absolute perfection
I'm not fan of scream metal, but "this devastation" and "no tomorrow" from this game are SO good and I can listen to them for hours. Maybe because there is almost no scream
"This devastation" has HEAVY screams in it but a melodic clean vocal to it too.
So you do like the harsh vocals if you liked This Devastation
@@thedoomslayer5863 screaming has relatively low % of the song, most of it is beautiful powerful vocal.
Same with "no tomorrow". It has only 2nd verse screaming, and some occasional seconds through while song. Rest of it is beautiful. Even the "You're hell to me" line (at the end of chorus) there sounds good

Verse 1 is full vocal, only last note is scream, but it is tied to pre-chorus
Pre-chorus is scream, but it is really short
Chorus is very powerful and cripple but not scream
Verse 2 has 2 lines and 2 words of scream
Pre-chorus same
Chorus same
Bridge is scream
Pre-chorus is scream
Chorus same
So really it is less than 1/3 of the song, which is clean, compared to other songs
@@MRACOS2 to be fair no tomorrow has it's own unique sound that doesn't sound like any of the others, especially with how the singer mixes his range throughout the song throwing plenty of mix ups in there.
And I mean that in the best ways.
I love it all the harsh scream portions, the clean vocals, the in between mix in some of them i appreciate all aspects of these songs from metal Hellsinger
I think you have to, to truly appreciate the songs from beginning to end. Otherwise it's more like a roller coaster that stalls midway through and you're stuck there wondering what's happening then the ride suddenly picks up again

What kind of software/plugin does he use to change the tuning?
He's using the Neural DSP John Petrucci plugin. It has a transpose feature that tunes your guitar up or down without touching the tuning pegs.
This video replaced the song just now.
