I've had pairs of 25, 10, 5, and 2.5 for about almost a year. Fit and finish on all of mine are flawless - no rough edges anywhere, no blemishes, no irregularities of any kind that I can find. The holes are just snug enough, and the weights are all easily within tolerance. I personally like the gray finish. These are really nice plates.
For the viewers in the Indianapolis area, they usually offer very good discounts, since they won’t have to pay to ship, if you pick up. If I can fit a SSB, FID bench, plates, etc in a small car, you can too!
Just got the 605 set. Super happy with them. They are in fact weight plates and they do fit on a barbell. Seems to get the job done lol I got their Reverse Hammer too and I’m really happy with it. GHD/Rev Hyper combo that costs less than $1k and is well built. Definitely worth the purchase
These are better looking than kabuki. The color is fine IMO, the rest of the gym is is usually black or darker colors. It is sort of a budget ivanko coloring.
Bells of Steel is a company for MINIMALIST garage gym owners like me! Great review Brandon. I would have loved if they have made these plates in black colour, that might have taken off the irregularities/finish they have, atleast in the looks. #35lbsplateguy :-)

I can vouch for the hole tolerances being slightly larger than stated. I have around 500 lbs of these and they all wobble more on my bare naked power bar vs my e1 training plates from luxianojun. When I got mine right when they launched months ago I told customer service and sent them a video of the excessive wobble. They offered to replace them for mE at no charge and said they would be contacting their manufacturer to have this issue solved asap. I personally don't care but this is the Main reason why I love BoS is their CS is amazing and I've never had a issue from them. Can't say the same from the other more known and larger companies.
I have these, and the Cerakote Utility Bar . Good plates and bar and no shipping charge sweetens the deal. I compared them to some Rogue plates I have and the center seemed the same.

I don’t know your budget but I have dreamed about having enough barbells and weights so I could multiple barbells loaded with my warm up sets and back off my sets. 135, 225, 315 etc si I wouldn’t have to bend over and change the plates between sets
Right before the pandemic started I actually picked up york deep dish plates for $1.4/lb included tax and if I hadn’t gotten them I would’ve gotten these. I’m very happy with my york plated though, they look and feel good.

Maybe because the BoS is slightly thinner, the loose inner sleeve would be more prominent than Strength Co? If it were a lot wider, there would be less wiggle.

Could you please review the Bells of Steel “Mighty Grip Olympic Weight Plates”? They claim +/- 3% weight tolerance. Not as accurate as the machined plates, but they’re no doubt easier to handle.

I want a set of machined plates. I have a 255 lb set of cast iron and a 255 lb set of rubber coated cast iron but I want some of the machined ones. But before I buy them I really need to buy a good power bar.
I have their squat rack and I love it. Sadly their weights aren’t free shipping here in Canada :/ they do have some very affordable bumpers though they just dropped and I’m tempted to buy them

I want to get rid of my bumper plates because I don’t enjoy lifting with them nearly as much as a set of iron plates that rattle around and are “loud”. Making the iron make noise gives me a pump.

Not very long actually. If I recall about two weeks, which is normal for my location for anything central or west. Still enjoying them and wish I could justify a full set, but alas I am rife with Costco bumpers.

Those plates aren't pretty, but when it comes to lifting weights, pretty doesn't matter. Their purpose as hunks of metal is to serve as something to help apply pressure to your muscles and they do that well. Look at Metroflex Arlington that Ronnie Coleman worked out of. There's nothing pretty about that place or the equipment in there, but the guys that work out there are huge.
These just do not move me. Don’t like the look as you mentioned it falls flat. Definitely a great plate and deal if that kind of thing does not matter to you.
They are ugly but get the job done. I got 675 pounds of these and they are all accurate. Very tight fitting and hard to load sometimes. Affordable calibrated plates are way back ordered in Canada so I just got these instead. Basically the same thing.
Loose plates make for some nice lifting ASMR though! So you'll let Vietnamese plates hang out in your basement but you won't let a Vietnamese man hang out in your basement? I know my weight tolerances aren't as tight but come on man.
Man, those are an ugly and bland looking plate. It’s not just the color, it’s the font size and spacing, it looks home made. Clearly someone with zero design background did the text layout. I know looks are individual, and maybe someone out there likes these, but imo these are the worst plate i have seen.

I got the York Legacy plates, and they were definitely milled rough. Great starter set, but I definitely think they are a lower quality milled plate.
Yeah York went downhill when they stopped making their plates in the USA!

200 bucks shipped for 45lb pairs is decent, but Rogue's deep dish plates are pretty comparable in price still (155+probably 50 or 60 shipping).
I'm not sure what's worse though, these bland grey or the super wide deep dish!

Correct the freight shipping is like $130 or something if I remember correctly
