THAT Is the Absolute best bike for the value in Kawasaki’s line up!!! I have had a 1000sx for 2 years and can’t ever see my life without this bike… my wife is getting over it! Sporty bike, touring bike, and everything in between!
I ride year round in southeastern Washington. Lowest temp I've ridden in was 12°. I ride a CF Moto Ibex 800T, with heated grips and seat. It makes a huge difference! I added Tusk handguard covers (hippo hands) and it made it so much more comfortable to ride in the cold!
This the one sport touring bike I keep coming back to look at. Like you said it’s a lot of bike for a good price. 40 degrees is my cut off unless I had to ride for some reason then I’d ride the ultra limited with all the wind protection.
Going from about 60 horsepower to 135 horsepower is a pretty big step up. Might want to check insurance. This Ninja1000/1100 has been pretty pricey historically, nearly ZX-10R rates.
I have the 2023 model, and ive replaced the headers and can, had it tuned with a new air filter and velocity stacks. Its a beast . Love it!! Its a longterm keeper!!
That is an amazing bike! The way these manufacturers price things is crazy though. You can buy a 600cc super sport or for a few hundred bucks more you can get this beast and it has cruise control! You can tell that if it had an aftermarket exhaust on it that thing would sound amazing!
I was really hoping for a better test of that QS Ray, I like your reviews you enjoy them all just like me lol. They smoothed out the QS they said, really wanted to see that demonstration, can’t please em all. 👍🏻
Kawasaki no doubt, the Street Triple is definitely a AWESOME motorcycle- can't take nothing away from the street Triple. But I've seen several people try and sell the street Triples and it take a while for them to sell - Kawasaki's are more of a mainstream product and ALOT more dealers to service and sell anything you might need. Also no wind protection and no cruise on Street Triple. There really kind of 2 different kind of bikes, Street Triple is more road racing, Kawasaki is more Street and comfort oriented. Kawasaki does directions on on tft if I'm not mistaken. Thanks for Commenting!!
Back in my day I rode in the snow, rain, and wind. Im in my seventies and still riding. But not so much in bad conditions. When I😅😅😅 was young motorcycles were my primary source of transportation. Commuting to work, going on long distance runs to visit friends. Oh I forgot freezing fog too.
Pretty amazing package.. with looks to kill. Looks really comfortable.. The mid-range pull looks impressive. That front tire looked really light, Ray 🚨 😂 Good thing it was in Mexico. Hope all is well my friend.

The price alone I think sold me on this over the more sporty ZX-10R. As much as I would love owning a super bike, this seems like the perfect all-rounder. In your opinion, how trackable do you think this could be?
If I hadn’t gotten a great price on the 2024 ninja 1000sx I would have bought this one. Would you say this drives about the same as the 1000? Thank you for the review as well!

@RayBowdenRides it was great, you hit upon all the important key points. I really liked the information on seat height versus seated height. For me I used to ride a zx1000, so seeing that the 2024 1000 and the 2025 1100 are very similar caught my interest. Also how when you place the tranmission in first gear clicks in on the kawasaki versus my old RD400 and later R6 sounded like I hit the gearbox with a sledge hammer. I used to work on z1000 and they were pretty bullet proof and many California Highway Patrol men rode on bikes I worked on. If I was ever going to trade my 2022 GSXR 750 that I have done so much work to, it would be for either the 1000sx or the ZX-14. It looks amazing this year, which finally makes it a contender for me. The old color schemes looked pretty bad, depending on the year, for the SX and 14.
Man i tell you , the tft is better on the Suzuki, and the Hp. It just depends on what I was really going to do. Suzuki for longer trips, Kawasaki for more city! But there both so close- Flip a quarter!!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
Awesome bike for that!! If you buy this bike you'll probably get rid of the 500! This is excellent for city riding too!! Thanks for Commenting and Watching 🙏🏻. Stay in Touch!!!
@Dc_7o2 i would say the Kawasaki, the only Differences are the Suzuki comes with 150hp stock and a Bigger tft - There basically the same bike with different colors , I've rode them both and it's like Splitting Hairs, I'm just a little more brand loyal to Kawasaki's.
Since 2020 the Ninja1000SX has had pretty much the same level of electronics as this 1100, of course minus all the engine, 5th and 6th gearing changes, and electronic equipment updates. As far as tuning, don't send people to Bren and have him charge $800. 2 Wheel Dyno Works offers just as much tuning prowess and refinement for *less than half that.* Bren is a ripoff.
@@exothermal.sprocketloyalty are some people just like working with certain people. Sometimes you just want to know what you're getting. But like myself I'm sure a lot of other people appreciate hearing your option. Thanks
Bike looks great! Beware folks, I noticed that Kawi put those "handlepods" on the bike.🤮 That's what I call them, anyway. They are not handlebars, nor clips-ons which are flat, or near flat, to the top of the fork caps. Imo, they are VERY stupid looking aesthetically. To each his own. I once owned a 1992 ZX600, and they had them on it. I obviously didn't think much of them at the time, and I believe they were the new thing to do so as to not have the bars so low. After nearly 10 years riding that bike, I really ended up hating them. That 600 had no problems with it and had to sell it after 33,000 miles. Everyone has their own opinion, and mine is to never buy another bike with handlepods that bolt up to the top of the triple-clamp... disgusting. I'd buy the S1000GX first...at least they have REAL handlebars on them. And, of course, tapered handlebars are the BEST!😃 May you all enjoy what you like, too! 👍🇺🇸
This, because it has wind protection and I've seen people try and sell street Triples used and it took a while for some reason!! Thanks for Commenting and Asking 🙏🏻.

Man i tell you , the tft is better on the Suzuki, and the Hp. It just depends on what I was really going to do. Suzuki for longer trips, Kawasaki for more city! But there both so close- Flip a quarter!!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
@@RayBowdenRides thanks, Ray. I think I'm leaning towards the Kawasaki just because of the longevity of the platform. God bless you from New York.
The Kawasaki has Bosch IMU cornering/lean angle abs and traction control. The Suzuki does not have IMU.
@paulmccloskey7287 that's right, did not remember if it did! Thk you!!
Still a great bike. Won't upgrade my 24' though.
I can see why, It's an awesome bike!! Thanks for the Comment!
I currently have a ninja 500 but I’m really considering this as a second bike so I can go on road trips with it.
Awesome bike for that!! If you buy this bike you'll probably get rid of the 500! This is excellent for city riding too!! Thanks for Commenting and Watching 🙏🏻. Stay in Touch!!!
Around 50F , can't keep the fog off my visor below that .
I hear that!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting and have a AWESOME weekend!!🙏🏻
Get a Bell Race Star DLX :) Awesome helmet! Does not fog, VERY quiet, aerodynamic, AND it auto-tints! 👍
@thomasolson8417 thanks for Commenting and have a great weekend. 🙏🏻
+15 is lowest i go out riding but only ever had naked bikes a window might help
Anything would help at that temperature!! Thanks for Commenting and Watching my friend 🙏🏻, Have a Great rest of your weekend!!!
I’m debating between this or the GSX-S1000GX.
Man that's a total coin toss- There both really so close!! What are you going to be doing the most- City riding or Touring???
@@RayBowdenRidesboth actually to run errands around town. Has to from work and actually tour
Kawasaki needs to bring back the zx11
That would be cool! Thanks for Commenting and being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻. Have a great weekend!!!
I will ride no lower then about 40 degrees and that's a very nice motorcycle
I hear ya on that one!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend!
Would you say this is a good starter bike?
No it's not! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
Raymond, this * Delilah* will be available in January/February 2025 dow
Looks like the internet is playing up .
Oh ok!! Dang internet!
Thanks Les - Thanks for Commenting!!
I love bren, you can get cheaper tunes for sure.
If you can pay $300 and get exactly the same service or better than Bren's $800, then why?
@@exothermal.sprocketloyalty are some people just like working with certain people. Sometimes you just want to know what you're getting. But like myself I'm sure a lot of other people appreciate hearing your option. Thanks
@exothermal.sprocket i trust bren tune, for me it's just always been good!
Bike looks great!
Beware folks, I noticed that Kawi put those "handlepods" on the bike.🤮
That's what I call them, anyway.
And, of course, tapered handlebars are the BEST!😃
May you all enjoy what you like, too! 👍🇺🇸
Different strokes for Different folks - great Commenting 👍. Thanks for Commenting and Happy new Year!!!
8:17 batman
Well it does remind me of that🦇 , I know got screws loose!!😂
Dam that factory exhaust can is huge! Just ugly. A nice slip on would be great for sound and the looks of it
Heck yes on the slip on!!!
Come on take a bike on the highway
Gotcha 👍- ok I'll revisit this one . Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
476# wet weight, you wish. It's about 515. What are the rpm at highway speed: 65, 70, 85, whatever?
Dry Weight, But you are Right fueled and ready to go. Thanks for Watching and Commenting and have a Happy New Year🙏🏻.
Any memory of rpm at speed?
No but not a problem 👌.
Much like the h2 sx
Not even close
@sinswashed4013 thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
This tuned? 140-145 hp.
H2SX tuned? 230+ hp.
Ride to church bike, huh?! 😂
Oh yea!! Thanks for Commenting and being apart of the Channel Michael 🙏🏻. Happy New Year too!
Those bikes are for KIDS. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ok. Thanks for Commenting.
Get someone that can ride a bike not talk a bike 😮
I'm not here to Argue, sorry you feel that way.
Iv ridden in 40° weather for 40min...was not fun
I hear that!!! Thanks for Commenting and being apart of the Channel!! 🙏🏻
@RayBowdenRides i know you do alot of kawi reviews but i hope you review the r9 next spring when it comes out
@entropy5125 for sure!
Great video sir ….if you were to choose between street triple 765 vs the Kawasaki…which one would you choose??
This, because it has wind protection and I've seen people try and sell street Triples used and it took a while for some reason!! Thanks for Commenting and Asking 🙏🏻.
