What console/facia plate did u use to accomodate your hvac, switch panel, cb radio and pa mic and radio? (The vertical multi gang panel with the screws/rivets)
+CALICOTV301 I had the CB hard wired (always hot) & the scanner had a cigarette lighter plug for its power. Had tons of power splitters for the 2 cig plugs my truck had. It's a wonder I didn't wear out the alternator (but maybe the devices didn't draw that much?). I had DVD players, cell phone charger, radar detector, CB radio, police scanner & cobra eye windshield washer squirted led hood lights all going at once. It was a 2000 s-10 extreme truck I had customized to the hilt. No longer own it, I'm 6 ft 5 inches tall, & an s-10 was just too small a truck for me. Good times though owning it, it was slickest truck I've ever driven & im in the car business
+CALICOTV301 the CB & scanner were both wal mart bought. Maxon compact 40 channel CB with volume/squelch controls only aside from channel buttons, & a bearcat scanner.
if you use the siren and or red/blue lights off your private property yes. it is not illegal to have the equipment on your car off private property as long as you don't use it. that does not mean you will not be suspected of impersonating a police officer in the event of a traffic stop.
Some states legal and some like NY is illegal, the legal states if you are doing a crime or suspected of doing a crime especially in high crime neighborhoods and get caught with a scanner, they can confiscate it and you'd be in a serious bucket of shit.
There is no proof of that besides the beacon equipment in his vehicle (which probably isn't even hooked up). Your assumptions make you very dangerous to the public!

There is only reason this guy has his car like this-to make people think he is a cop. This guy is very dangerous to the public.
