He's a really interesting character. Aside from Bulma, Krillin is a side character who has been present for almost every single major and minor event in the story, and being dead is the only reason he's not around for most of the others! Despite his overwhelming tendency to be a coward, he frequently ends up doing insanely brave things because it's the right thing to do.
Krillin isn't even a coward. Yeah, he can be afraid sometimes when he's up against someone he knows he can't beat, but in the end he will still give it everything he's got to try and at least buy time for the stronger characters to show up or do whatever it is they need to do to defeat the enemy. If he were a coward he would constantly run away and hide. Instead he goes back to help Goku even after being told to take Gohan and leave when Vegeta was around. He goes to Namek not having any idea what might be in store for the crew there. He rescues Dende when he can no longer tolerate sitting by and doing nothing. He goes up against members of the Ginyu force, and does his best against Frieza. He even comes back and TAUNTS Frieza after being impaled and nearly dying, simply so that Dende can hopefully have time to heal others who are injured. He goes up against Cell even when someone like Tien, who some think is stronger than Krillin, decides to back out of the fight, and he sacrifices himself against Buu just to try and give his friends and family some kind of chance to escape to safety. Even if it didn't work out like planned, the important thing is that he tried his absolute best. So, no, Krillin is in no way a coward.
krillin has the biggest balls in the whole series, he face, aliens, androids and monsters that are 100000 stronger than him, he knows hes going to die yet he never backs down👏👏

Well he hit Nappa, more like grazed him but still got the first blood on him, he hit Frieza, cutting his tail off, and he hit Perfect Cell, but it had no effect. not sure if he even used it during Buu saga, I need to rewatch that saga tbh.

Otherwise Krillin could take down pretty much every bad guy that shows up all by himself. He would maybe only have trouble against the likes of Beerus, since Beerus is considered a God and so probaby wouldn't be affected by a mortal's attacks the same way.
I was actually surprised at how deep Krillin's name actually went. That's some next-level punning there. Always did like Krillin. He wasn't objectively the most powerful character, yeah, but he didn't need to be. The guy was pretty much the poster-child for loyalty, courage, kindness and humility. All of this while still remaining relatable. No wonder 18 snapped him up.
Yeah, I like Krillin as a martial arts teacher WAY WAY WAY more over being a cop. The reason is Krillin with his powers can basically eliminate all crime in a day. However, teaching martial arts it'd bring a cool plot element. What if Krillin realized humans are way too weak and he wants to make humans prepared if a day comes Goku is gone? He trains humans and gets them to power levels at least in the higher thousands to be somewhat prepared.

In one of the old Budokai games, Krillin can be absorbed by Cell in a "What If" story. The character is called "Cellin" and he's crazy weak.
