So precise and easy explanation to the point, loved the video. Did it to the word as per your instructions and the best part was to see how the oil d level goes down and back up when you switch off.
@@HalfClickUpell, you know what they say. Necessity is the mother of invention. Laziness is the baby daddy that skipped out on invention and his ma back when he was little and ain't been seen since.
I dont understand why 3.7 liter gets to mutch in my 800 xca 2019 , I filled her up to The last measur line on the oil can, just 4mm below the last line gets to mutch😮have to drain out
Hey mate, thanks for posting the video, you have a new subscriber. I have two questions. When I went to buy the oil online I put in my make and model (2015 Tiger XCX) and it advised me that I should buy 10W50 4T oil, will this matter? All the videos I've watched suggest 10W40 4T. Second question. Does the new crush washer come with the filter or do I need to buy separately? Thanks in advance.

I am glad you found my video helpful. Thank you for watching! 🙏
So easy. Just did the oil change on my V-Strom a few days ago. Definitely something worth learning if you own a bike.
Firefly!! Great to see ya 😊
@@HalfClickUp You as well! Enjoying another great video!
Thanks just purchased a used 2013 and just making sure everything is up to par!
Awesome! You’ll enjoy the Tiger! 👍
No sweat! Ha. For messy draining filters I shove a piece of aluminum foil in up against the block to catch all that.
That’s a great idea!

Make sure you give the oil enough time to drain back into the pan before topping it off.

Triumph service manual calls for 10w40, and the crush washer is purchased separately. Part number T3558989 (can be bought in multipacks, as well).

What..no torque setting on the filter. That's why you get the nut 😅
You just gotta feel it, bud 😉
I always find mine takes the whole 4 litres
Not unusual! It can certainly vary.
