Triumph filters are even more universal than that! They're identical in all ways to the filters used by Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha, maybe others as well. (Last I checked, Suzuki used a slightly different one.) I bought a case of good-quality ones for a Honda 500 several years ago and am still using them, 3 bikes later.
@fjeewani tusk pilot panniers, yes they need racks but I got ones off of ebay that are a little smaller that the ones that you can get specifically for these. The ones I got are cheaper and smaller because I sometimes run smaller nelso rig bags. But these bags have been flawless and have held up very well I am very happy with them. For the price you really can't beat the Tusk Pilot Panniers. Check em out at Rocky Mountain Atv/mc.
I just used the hashes on the side of the jug. Always underestimate it, then add little amounts if needed after. As long as the oil level in the sight glass is halfway up you're good. Didn't get scientific with it or anything. Thanks for watching.
I haven't yet. Triumph makes you take it to a dealer just to reset the service light. So, I will have to look at it until I can get out to the dealer. I do know that you can buy a tool and download and app to reset it, but I didn't want to go that route.
@@MotoInTheValley I bought the device off Amazon and use it often..for the bikes for cars etc..and yeah resetting the service light alone was worth it for me.
That look when you said ... take the skid plate off was killer....😅
@@fjeewani thank you

Anytime! Thanks for watching
How did you measure out the .3 quarts?

@kee7678 what is the tool called? I can't find it now
@@MotoInTheValley OBDLink LX OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner for Android and Windows
@@kee7678what app are you using? I have the same Bluetooth tool as you, but the app I used for my BMW doesn’t support Triumph bikes.
Was your oil red? Mine came out red, and the only oil I know to be red is transmission oil!
It was definitely not red. It was the usual blackish of used oil. Did you buy yours used? There is Red oil out there, perhaps someone used it.
No, it's brand new, and the Triumph shop I bought it from does all the oil changes cause I have a maintenance package
Much easier when you have good clearance.
Definitely!
Should have taken the bash plate off to begin with
I agree, it was so easy too just 4 bolts. I wanted to show that they design it so you don't have to, but screw that just take it off.
