The original was so much better!! They don't do real mini-series anymore and they have to condense the storyline so much that something always gets lost.
@@CapeLady08222024 tv watched like 40 minutes and got bored. this old series looks so much more interesting. the new one has nothing. no depth. dialogs are shit. execpt for good props and costumes ill give them that
I always had admire Japanese culture, I had painted many landscapes and watched the japanese channel, it is a culture full of beauty, it's so delicate and yet strong.
I can believe that thanks to HITS TV, I can watch such masterpiece like Shogun! The film is even more awesome than those craps they have nowadays smh...

I just found a vhs set of this that came in a leather box with a lock on it and the big red Shogun title on the front and a book inside
