Whoa! Physician's Formula IS cruelty-free! They're actually owned by Markwins, who make Wet N Wild. I love me some Physician's Formula! I'm currently transitioning over to CF as well. So far my biggest stumbling block has been foundation, but it looks like you've got that sorted- I was taking note of everything you had in your stash, I need to find some new ones. Congratulations, and I look forward to seeing how it goes! :)
I started my transitioning to crueltyfree a few months ago, I got rid of most of the products that I had from brands that do test on animals but kept some others that I really enjoyed with the purpose of finnishing them up as soon as possible. My biggest struggle is still related to hair, body and skin care products, my skin is combination to oily and a little bit sensitive too so yup, still trying to find the products that work well for me, anyway, just discovered your channel, and I am definetly staying.
I couldn’t agree more! Drugstore hair and skin products are definitely most difficult! Also, I don’t think there is anything wrong with keeping what you already have! Now you’re putting your money towards what you believe in and that’s what’s important! 🙌🏻 xo Lauren
Yesss to those who are strong enough to transition to cruelty free! I've transitioned about a year ago too, and it slowly starts transition to all products and you will feel great about yourself!
It's nice to see more people going cruelty free. I wouldn't get rid of good makeup I paid for though! I went CF about 2 years and still have a few leftovers I'm working my way through (mostly blush). Of course all the expired stuff left my collection.
SarahJane I love that it’s catching on too! I definitely don’t think there’s anything wrong with keeping makeup you paid good money for! I just find myself not reaching for these items since trying to promote cruelty free on my channel and insta. I figured I give them to some who’d put them to good use 👍🏻 Thanks for your comment 💗
so happy to see your going cruelty-free. I love it.. great website is logical harmony .. Nars really pisses me off about what they did. Now I just need to find a dupe for my concealer
Smashbox isn't actually cruelty free. They do test on animals when required by law. It depends in how much you want to read into it, but I wouldn't consider them cruelty free.
Amelia Rizk hey Amelia! So I looked into this... Smashbox is cruelty free, but their parent company, Estée Lauder, is not. I will still support them in hopes that their cruelty free companies (Too Faced, Becca, Smashbox) will be more successful than their non cruelty free companies (Clinique, Bobbi Brown). That’s my thought process anyway, but it’s what your comfortable with!
Thanks for the correction! I will fix this in my details box. This is still a learning process for me, so I appreciate any feedback from you guys as well!
CeciliaDavisonBeauty hey Cecilia, my sources say Stila IS cruelty free (Logical Harmony, Cruelty Free Kitty, and the brands website). Could you let me know where you saw that? And yes, I corrected Physicians Formula’s stance thanks 👍🏻

mommafletch Omg I didn’t realize that?! That makes me so happy! Thanks for clearing that up! Xo
mommafletch thanks for the info - I knew PF was cruelty free but didn't know they were owned by the same company that owns Wet N wild - that's great

This is fascinating to watch now with the changes in the CF market. Wet and wild and Charlotte tilbury are no longer CF while Covergirl is.
Huda Beauty is not cruelty free. They use mink for there lashes.
Hey Katherine! Their makeup is certified cruelty free, but you're right, their lashes are NOT. Thank you!
Thanks for going cruelty free! Please look further into Laura Geller and Lorac's statuses. They are not necessarily CF.

Pallavi Tiwari thanks so much! 💗
Cover girl is cruelty free
Yup so excited about that! This was before they announced their new cruelty fee status
Oh this is so helpful, I'm terrible!
Harriet Shearsmith I’m glad it was helpful! Nothing to feel terrible about! 💗
I have a tiny collection, but I’m not going to purchase any makeup that isn’t cruelty free!
Physicians Formula is Cruelty Free please research more.
