One night Humf’s Mum and Dad were going out. Uncle Hairy was going to come to look after Humf but was running late so Flora looked after him instead. Humf wasn’t sure if he wanted Flora to read his bedtime story but when he heard her silly voices he was very happy.
Humf discovers that his new bucket has a sticker on it, but when he takes it off, Loon informs him that it’s litter and he has to put it in the bin. Humf and Loon put lots of litter in the bin, but in his enthusiasm Humf throws away Dad’s newspaper before he’s had a chance to do the crossword.
One day Loon came to play with Humf. Loon wanted to go to the park but it was raining so Loon’s Mum and Humf’s Mum took them to the swimming pool. Humf liked the swimming pool but got scared when his face went in the water. That was until Loon showed him how.
Humf is a furry thing. He is short and round and purple and cuddly. At three years old Humf is full of wonder at the world, and is always eager to explore the new things he sees around him. Humf knows what the questions are, even if the answers take a little longer to find.
