Their Best LOOKING Acoustasonic Yet! Jazz shape works really well with it. But still looks like it should price around 40% lower. I think it's the plastic pickup that does that. Even the knobs look cheap from a distance even though they are wood. Love the natural color.
Intro jam has me mentally putting on my plaid jacket and calling my dog to get in the pickup truck to go chop down some trees for the fire in the cabin.
My friend a 100$ guitar is an excellent instrument in good hands.... I love the concept but this is a bad electric and a bad acoustic at the same time 😂

I wasn’t so big on these acoustisonics. But This one seems to do it for me. Really like it. But the price....ooof. No way. I just can’t. If I spend that much it will be for a very nice electric or very nice acoustic. Not a novelty like this. I really do like this one though. A lot.

As a home studio musician I use my Acoustasonic Tele all the time. I’m all about getting different tones and this guitar gives me that. That way an all acoustic album has more than just one guitar sound. I can’t afford space for several acoustics and this fits the bill. Also, certain positions are indeed best for different playing styles. P.S. Your 1st video sold me on it.
Beautiful Intro! I bought the Purple Classic Vibe Squier Jazzmaster and Telecaster from Andertons and had them shipped to the US. Absolutely fantastic experience each time. Love the vids!
That was awesome! This is the first time I've ever heard anything done with an Acoustasonic that I truly liked.. The Jazzmaster of this line is incredible! I can hear from the way you guys are playing that it inspires you to play
You guys gave me chills to the bone. This reminds me of a late August summer night at Jones Beach Theater. Allman Brothers just beginning a night of surreal jamming. The lite tender tones then the boom to follow later. Jones Beach Theater sits on the Atlantic Ocean in the middle of Long Island NY, on he south shore, 35 miles from New York City. For nearly 20 summers I'd be there drinking it all in. Amazing musical experiences, I miss them, they were pure and brought it every show. Thanks guys.
Pete never ceases to amaze me. With anything, but something about an Acoustasonic in his hands is just magic. Can anyone help me out with the opening loop chords?
I know it's a small amount of endangered wood, and mmmmmaybe the ebony bridge has an infinitesimal effect on the sound of this thing, but ebony KNOBS? As Jorge Verdin says, "My eyes rolled so far back in my head I could see my past." Gorgeous jam, though, and lovely to spend time watching you guys do your thing!
It's really amazing to see them create the new intros of the latest videos, their faces of enjoyment are hypnotizing, we really enjoy what they do and also give us all the information we need to know about what we like, thanks to you I decided for it first instrument that I can buy on my own, a beautiful Ibanez bass, unfortunately because I'm from Argentina I couldn't buy it from you, it would have been great, keep it up, greetings and thanks! I insist, that intro OMG!
There are other ones, like the Gibson SST. They even have an Epiphone version of the SST. I am actually selling that one that has a Fishman matrix natural 1 installed. Sounds huge and such a thin body. Looks sleek. With original hard shell case for under $1000 Let me know if you or anyone is interested. Honestly it sounds way better than these acoustasonics
Such a beautiful jam session. Love it. I feel especially bad for the 55 people who have disliked this video up to now. This definitely brought some joy to my day. Thanks. I want one now too!!
I stepped away from my computer during the acoustic demos and without the visual it honestly sounds impressive - to my ear it's a significant improvement over the first Acoustasonics. I remember when modeling amps seemed like a total gimmick and now they are widely accepted. It's not hard for me to see guitars going to same way. The big issue for me is the price - will these keep selling for $2k when they aren't new and exciting anymore?
Here’s the potential rub for me…I’ve got a Martin GPC Aura GT (Andertons have a great video of it) and it has the awesome fishman aura preamp in it that models different mics and it sounds SIGNIFICANTLY better than the piezo pickup under the bridge. If that fails, I still have a killer sounding acoustic that I can add a different pickup into like a kk sound or something. If the electronics in this fail and they’re out of production, do you have a $2000 paperweight? The magic of this guitar IS that preamp.
Wow! Close your eyes and that’s a pretty amazing result. Technology well used for sure, and I reckon you’d actually come up with ways to use it live that you never considered before the option was available.
Never been much of a jazz master fan, but these JM acoustasonics are beautiful. If I could afford any of the acoustasonic range I would 100% go for the white or black JM
Counted over 40 Acoustasonic videos in the last 12 hours on youtube. Fender is really going all out to push these. I would like to try one in the store after COVID is done.
Pete in the thumbnail is the face I make every time you guys play. Like, how?! 🤯 It doesn’t even matter what you guys upload, I’ll watch the whole thing and I come out the other end inspired to pick up my guitar and practice. Thank you everyone at andertons. 👑
During the outro jam the Captain was definitely channeling his inner Mr. Bean. Back to the guitar... definitely gonna start saving up for one in gray. Love it!
If you’ve got GAS, go for it, but there are acoustic guitar modeling pedals that do the job just as well. I have a Valeton 200 and it has plenty of acoustic emulators: dreadnaught, parlor, humming bird, classical, etc. sounds excellent, and at $184 it kicks ass. And when I switch out of acoustic MODE my PRS DGT is already in my hands and ripping it up.
I’ve been waiting for this to finally come out. I was hoping so much. This IS the model I’ll be choosing. I think the natural and black are the best colors!!
I'm fully expecting to see a squier or mex version of these in the future (maybe summer namm?) since they seem to be pretty popular at quite a high price point and level of quality. I'd be very interested in one of those.
Fender years ago decided that they would drop hard cases and, in some cases, any case at all to help keep price rises down. That's one of the reasons why a Strat today costs much less than it did 20 years ago in inflation-adjusted terms. Saying "at that cost I expect a hard case" is meaningless. Setting prices isn't an arbitrary process. Adding a case would change the costs/profit calculation. Meaning? Higher retail prices. If you want a case, buy one.
@@joebryant8500 For a guitar of that price and quality a hard case seems more appropriate. I think there at least should be an option offered ... so two prices...one for guitar and hard case ...another for guitar and gig bag.
As a sound designer working from home, I would actually kinda prefer this to micing up an acoustic. I can just grab it, record and then put it in any faux room. No need to be like "Hey Macbook pro stop it with the fan noise!" or anything of that. Of course, it would probably not have the same woody tone as my Martin through the U87 but...when I'm in the zone and just doing stuff I want it to go fast and be easy. Really interested in this model.
Great playing by both of you in that intro. Made me a bit misty eyed! These are definitely my favorite of the Acoustasonic series, so far. Really good acoustic sounds, and they just look...right.
